Governor Mister Phes Posted August 17, 2005 Governor Posted August 17, 2005 Yes, that's right! Due to China's over population they introduced the one child policy. And, as well all know males are better - so the females had to go bye byes... As a result there are more males than females. Now those boys have grown up and can't find a date. Well not a female date anyway, so now they're sharing their love amongst each other. Some believe homosexaulity is genetic... Others believe it is a choice... Does this occurrence in China evidence to support that homosexuality is in fact a choice? Read up on it on Wikipedia.com or Answers.com Quote
xwingyoda Posted August 17, 2005 Posted August 17, 2005 At least, it will, in the long run, reduce the numbers of babies in an overgrowing nation :D Quote
SuvieD Posted August 18, 2005 Posted August 18, 2005 Phes, you are a controversial one aren't you? Sex-Religion-Politics are all dangerous topics. But since you brought it up, I have always thought and will continue to think that a person is who they are because of two factors. The situations and events in a persons life shape who we are and more importantly our own personal choices make each person "what" they are. So, in my opinion yes, sexual orientation is a choice. Now I know there is more to it than that but on the basic level it is still choice. I had heard that many Chinese people are marrying from surrounding countries. Some of which have a high female to low male population. In China though, I fear that it will end up like another African situation with so many having aids. Oh and hobbes that picture is hilarious! Dino_Bot Posted September 8, 2005 Posted September 8, 2005 That's crazy! *wacko* A one child policy? That's weird! although it may fix the overpopulation problem... Quote
Governor Mister Phes Posted September 8, 2005 Author Governor Posted September 8, 2005 Yeah, the one child policy is ridiculous! All Chinese children should be made to do an obstacle course once a year. This obstacle course would be extremely difficult and some children may perish in an attempt to complete it. This way the useless and incompetent children would be culled off, leaving the smarter and more physically enabled children. China would be a less crowded and better place if they did things my way.
