BerndDasBrot Posted September 4, 2008 Posted September 4, 2008 okay, another BlacktronII-MOC. this time with 3 panels. overall I'm quiet happy with the result, but there're a few things I'd change. - I made a nice interior but you can't really see it from the outside... - no landing gear, and no space to add. - it's kinda fragile. photographing it was a pain. okay, enough negative vibes- with the drones. sidewindow. roofwindows with greeble. rearengines. don't look at them. the'll fall off. I didn't want to add this thing, but I started with it and already used a lot of slopes... it's used to store stolen containers. interior. I had to remove the rearengines. the 8x8plate can be turned so the blacktrons can look out of the roofwindows. and again. right sidewindow. okay that's all, thanks for watching! Quote
dj2005 Posted September 4, 2008 Posted September 4, 2008 Another wonderful creation. I wish I still had my Blacktron LEGOs. What is keeping the rear engines connected? Quote
SuvieD Posted September 4, 2008 Posted September 4, 2008 It's beautiful. I don't like the non-blacktron containers but everything else is dreamy. Quote
Adam Posted September 5, 2008 Posted September 5, 2008 Stunning. The whole thing is amazingly well done, and you gave it a sleek, cool effect. Together with your other Blacktron II MOC, you are an expert of that theme of Space. Quote
BerndDasBrot Posted September 5, 2008 Author Posted September 5, 2008 thanks! rear engines: with old axle connectors non-blacktron containers: well they just went to town to get some post-box. Once they reach their base they'll put it into standart blacktronII-containers... I thought it would be a funny detail... Quote
Algernon Posted September 6, 2008 Posted September 6, 2008 Not bad... boxy, obviously, but at least it's a nice departure from most Blacktron II ships. The highlight is obviously the greebles. Nice part variety. Quote
mutex Posted September 7, 2008 Posted September 7, 2008 Excellent job ! Realy nicely detailled and it is very faithful to the original models. 8/10 Il would have give it a 9/10 if it was a little less blocky ;-) Quote
BerndDasBrot Posted September 7, 2008 Author Posted September 7, 2008 thanks and @ blocky: it's the panels... maybe I should have made a 2x4 Brick... Quote
KimT Posted September 8, 2008 Posted September 8, 2008 Nice work Bernd. Stunning combination of trans-neon-green and black as usual. PS Are you The "Bernd Das Brot" who keeps whooping my behind in CSS? Quote
Manta Posted September 8, 2008 Posted September 8, 2008 It looks awesome, I like the drones, I always like fleets of defult vehicles, not like the TLC defult, like a defult vehicle for a nation, or faction, or whatever you want to call it. Quote
KimT Posted September 8, 2008 Posted September 8, 2008 uh... no...? I meant CSS as in Counter Strike Source. Some Bernd Das Brot keeps beating me on CdD's server. Back on topic. Quote
Manta Posted September 8, 2008 Posted September 8, 2008 Would you mind posting the instructions for the drones? Quote
BerndDasBrot Posted September 11, 2008 Author Posted September 11, 2008 @ KimT: nop. isn't me. @ Manta: the drones are from the official BTII sets: instructions on peeron. Quote
