Ghosts in the Game Room (Pepper's Ghost)

Pepper's Ghost: an old optical illusion (the same one used by Dinsey in the Haunted Mansion attractions: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pepper%27s_ghost )

Set in a victorian "Game Room" (Game meaning taxidermy and pool), this MOC uses said illusion to manifest some minifig ghosts! (Any doubled ghost is a direct result of the glass' thickness; something I cannot control.)

But I'm still happy with the end result.

Hahaha! This is very, very cool SirNadroj! The room itself is fantastic (those BrickArms Garands fit in perfectly), and the illusion is indeed fantastic! Everything's displayed wonderfully, great job! :thumbup:

Great work, Jordan! Your creativity with Lego never fails to amaze me. I really like all of those fake animals in the room, the elephant being my favorite. Nice use of the Garand. You sure like that little couch/ chair! The fireplace/ mirror are done very well, it's a shame Lego doesn't come in gold (besides the coins). The ghosts are awesome, it must have taken you a while to position them correctly with the sheet of glass.

Old or not, this is nothing short of brilliant! I'm still trying to get my mind wrapped around how the "Pepper's Ghost"-mechanic works (edit: and after reading it at Wikipedia, finally figured it out), and it used here is just... awesome. And litterally so.

Thanks for bringing this thread back to life, Pirates Forever, or I would never have seen this.
