50th Anniversary Sets

I found some anniversary sets on Lego SAH today. They include:

4496, 1,000 piece anniversary tub with some gold bricks

4105, 500 piece anniversary bucket with some gold bricks

5352, 139 piece Duplo tub with some gold bricks

I was waiting for some special anniverary sets and did not find other info to this regard on Eurobricks. If so, disregard this news.

Also pictured on the site is the sandcrawler mentioning the "gold" C-3PO (nothing special here), as well as Bionicle and KK.

Yes, but you might try to see if available in Europe.

It does say that it is currently only available in the U.S. and Canada, but it was interesting that from the date I posted this (http://eurobricks.hosting.ipsyn.com/eurofo...=ST&f=16&t=2109), on the bottom it said something about a free 5 gold brick bags for each $50 order, but it seems that it is not there anymore... :(

The Duplo 50th tub is up on S@H Europe, but not the others. How odd.

I picked up the big System bucket at ToysRUs (St. Louis) yesterday. A lot of nice Medium Blue & Lime parts. The Gold parts sure are odd... colored with a matte textured paint with a broad color variation and some chipping.
