These look suitably bad. I guessed they weren't going to be actual Lego, as they're based on the Videogame. McD's could have at least made them to look like proper Lego figures rather than weirdly posistioned ones. For example, I thought the big Luke Skywalker promotional model thingy looked good for a representation of a minfig, McD's could have done that with this...

I have that, too! I remember when McDonald's had good food, good service, and good toys. :cry_happy: good times...

McDonalds had good food?! :oh3:

These toys don't have a whole lot going for them, but being the LEGO Bat-fanatic that I am, I had to have a set. Fortunately, I found a set on eBay for $15.00 and free shipping - less hassle and cheaper than if I had to drive to McDs to get them myself.

Yes, but you can buy them speratly for 75 cents each...

The reason I asked where is because the McDonalds near me have never sold toys that cheap. It's been awhile since I've done so, but they always charged between $1.65 and $1.95 (depending on the restaurant). I've never been able to buy a full set at once either. They only sell the particular toy they have out at the moment. So, getting a full set always means driving to multiple locations and hoping they have the toy you want available. For folks who can get the toys for .75 cents apiece (and whole sets at once) - that's great. With my savings in time and gas, I'm happy with my eBay purchase.

WHAT THE-

They are calling this Lego?

Either actually make it Lego, or don't call it Lego.

This is the last straw, seriously.

If they're doing this because 'lol the kids want to play with the toy right away not build it', then don't do a LEGO promo at all. Let's say a kid names Billy goes to get a Happy Meal, and sees his "OMG COOL BATMAN TOY". Billy loves it, and goes and gets a real LEGO Batman sets. He opens the box to find a dissapointment- IT HAS TO BE BUILT!

So, my point is, MAKE IT REAL LEGO, OR DON'T CALL IT LEGO AT ALL.

LEGO should start partnering with Wendy's. It's healthier, It tastes better, and they probably won't make them hunks of plastic, but ACTUAL BUILDABLE SETS. They've had puzzles before, so why not Lego sets?

Okay, chill out there. I think that this is a good thing for Lego Batman. If kids like the toys, they will buy the sets, and possibly the line wil have a longer life. Besides, the toys are for 3 and up. With saftey precautions and whatnot these days, they probably couldnt get away with it now. Times have changed. There was an article in my local newspaper about hula hoops being saftey hazards. Yes, you hear that right. Hula hoops. Whine all you want saying they did it before, but now I doubt they could get away with giving these to kids under 5.

To all the naysayers out there regarding these *ahem* toys...

There is an upside for some folks - there is a Lego: Bats character code on each piece for use in the game giving one "free stuff" in the form different characters, vehicles, and different costumes.

The game is awesome!! Its def better to be a villain, IMO.

The McDonald's nearest to me sold me one for $1.95. Which is only about 50 cents less than the Happy Meal would have been. Gah.

In any case, I've got a four year old and six year old son, and for kids that age, these things are GREAT toys. My six year old has made the Batboat his number one favorite toy (with tiny launching Bat-ski), and my four year old loves the Batman, Robin, and Mr. Freeze figures.

They're not LEGO, but they are fun toys. And the figures look just like the video game, and I'm impressed at how accurate the vehicles are to the LEGO models. Just...shrunken down and toy-i-fied.

I love 'em.

Well, you can see them all on the instruction page:

If you want more individual pics, I suggest you try bricklink or brickset or something.

Hope that helped.
