Lego12 Posted September 15, 2008 Posted September 15, 2008 Oh NO! I have been killed!! Damn those Baritones!!! I would kill all of you bastards! But I am dead....so I'm screwed.... Ivan, your food was delicious! I will never be able to eat it again... Be sure to bring some of your food when you die! Iris, why did you dump me!?! Aww, who cares, I'm dead! Veronica, where in the hell where you at!?! Maybe if you would have come to my house I would have lived! Al, you bastard! You probably killed! VOTE AL OFF!! Darlene, you never met me, but wow, when you die you be sure to visit! We could get it on! Lee, the dead man........
Hinckley Posted September 15, 2008 Author Posted September 15, 2008 I can't guess why the difference in greying out and striking out, maybe it was just a mistake? Me? Make a mistake? Pfft. Unlikely. There must be something to it... Yes, three deaths is a little excessive, but with 20 people playing the game I wanted to pair it down quickly. It certainly made the story move in a good direction. I have to admit, I killed Thomas B, though. That's what happens when you don't participate. Why should someone play who isn't participating and there are several players on the waiting list? Well, don't say I didn't warn you.
Cyclone Titan Posted September 16, 2008 Posted September 16, 2008 I call dibs on the next place in the game. Unless someone already did before me...if thats the case than... CT
Hinckley Posted September 16, 2008 Author Posted September 16, 2008 I call dibs on the next place in the game. Unless someone already did before me...if thats the case than... CT There's a standby list in the first post that I believe your name is already on...
Admiral Blockbeard Posted September 16, 2008 Posted September 16, 2008 I was hoping there was an actual site www.kurdl.com but there was nothing... not being one to give up i came across this... Regards Cpt. PB
Skinny Boy Posted September 17, 2008 Posted September 17, 2008 Smooth move Petey. For the first time in four years, I am offered a task, and someone snatches the objective away. Whoever took those briefcases (and camera) should be feeling really bad right now.
Adam Posted September 17, 2008 Posted September 17, 2008 Lego12, I don't think it's a smart idea to vote me off just because you didn't like me. I was hoping there was an actual site www.kurdl.com but there was nothing...not being one to give up i came across this... Regards Cpt. PB Actually, it's kerdl.com, but there isn't anything for that, either. Maybe I'll start a website... The idea behind "KERDL" was taken from the old "KREML" comercials on "The Shadow".
Stash2Sixx Posted September 17, 2008 Posted September 17, 2008 I wouldn't sweat it too much Adam, apparently, someone didn't like LEGO12 too much either. That guy got blasted at close range, what, 14 times? WOW! Brutal mob we have here in Moonlight.
Adam Posted September 17, 2008 Posted September 17, 2008 I wouldn't sweat it too much Adam, apparently, someone didn't like LEGO12 too much either. That guy got blasted at close range, what, 14 times?WOW! Brutal mob we have here in Moonlight. Yes. Lego12 did sort of make himself a target, I suppose. But why 14 times, and why did the gun have cartridges with 13 bullets each?
Stash2Sixx Posted September 17, 2008 Posted September 17, 2008 Many pistols now offer high capacity MAGAZINES. These high capacity MAGAZINES can at times contain 12-15 ROUNDS or CARTRIDGES. A great example, from your home country, would be the Berretta 90 series. Mel Gibson and Bruce Willis made these pistols famous. The "Lethal Weapon" and "Die Hard" series both used this type of pistol, but I'm not 100% sure which exact one they used. So yeah, if the movie cops can carry these firearms, I guess the LEGO mob can carry them also. Sorry, not to disrespect you in any way, I just wanted to add a little bit of my own personal knowledge on the matter.
Skinny Boy Posted September 17, 2008 Posted September 17, 2008 But why 14 times Well, 13 would have been unlucky . No offence Lee.
Dragonator Posted September 17, 2008 Posted September 17, 2008 Well it looks like we screwed things up this time. I'm going to be having some serious words with some people tomorrow, we must find the Baritones, and I have a few suspicions now. Ah well, life must go on. PS. You know, 13 is actually a lucky number, for dragons at least.
Adam Posted September 17, 2008 Posted September 17, 2008 Mhm. And I guess that this one had 13? Still very unusual in Moonlight; I had thought that Moonlight salesmen only sold 6 and 12 shot guns.
Norrington Posted September 17, 2008 Posted September 17, 2008 Waay to go, guys. I hope this teaches you to be more careful in your judgements. And Adam: would mind not posting random advertising crap? It's is very annoying. Thanks.
VBBN Posted September 17, 2008 Posted September 17, 2008 No one in this town wants to die. We want to find out who the baritones are. It was all part of the process. Damn, now I have to operate the camera AND use the Mic.
I Scream Clone Posted September 17, 2008 Posted September 17, 2008 Oh man, I thought we were on to something Neal! I really thought you were a shifty dude (not FBI ) Now we lose a very valuable investigator. Its going to be even harder to find the Baritones now
Hinckley Posted September 17, 2008 Author Posted September 17, 2008 I wonder why you didn't investigate anyone, Norrington. I even saw you online and PMed you to see if you were going to and you never responded? Had you done that, you could've had a bargaining chip for your life...
Norrington Posted September 17, 2008 Posted September 17, 2008 I wonder why you didn't investigate anyone, Norrington. I even saw you online and PMed you to see if you were going to and you never responded? Had you done that, you could've had a bargaining chip for your life... You PM'd me? I must not have noticed it, as I generally just click forum right away. The reason I didn't investigate anyone is because there was no-one I particularly suspected. And if I had just randomly picked someone and they were innocent (I am suspecting Adam at this point) it would have made no difference. And of course, I couldn't have announced anything without blowing my cover. But, if I voted for the guilty person, I wouldn't really have a way other than explaining I worked for the FBI. And if everyone voted for the baritone, I would still have blown my cover and been killed in the night, eh?
Lego12 Posted September 17, 2008 Posted September 17, 2008 (edited) I knew Neal was a citizen! I had a feeling that he was a good man....poor guy...Oh hi Neal, how's it going? It sucks to be dead, doesn't it. Those bastards shot me! I'm still mad...and your own citizens shot you! What a weird town..... Thank god I don't live there anymore.... Why are you discussing about me getting shot you little bastards?!? I died and you go and talk about me getting shot!?! Strange town.....what a minute how am I talking to you if I'm dead? I'm a ghost, yeah that's it, I'm a spooky, scary ghost! Nah I would never haunt or hurt you guys! But I might.... EDIT: Ummm, nothing happened here....stop reading....I command you..... Sir Dillon Posted September 17, 2008 Posted September 17, 2008 I guess it figures that the first person we kill was one of our best hopes for catching the mafia. Norrington, why didn't you at least hint that you were an agent when we were accusing you? That's the type of thing it would help to know before we're about kill you.

There are people who can protect you at night, too... Oh well, at least you thought it through. I hope you play again next time!
VBBN Posted September 17, 2008 Posted September 17, 2008 OOC) One question, should the members that died change their avatars like lego12?
Norrington Posted September 17, 2008 Posted September 17, 2008 But in the face of death, you could've played whatever cards you had. There are people who can protect you at night, too... Oh well, at least you thought it through. I hope you play again next time! Well, I suppose. But, have you ever heard the Shel Silverstein poem (I beleive it's called) "The Magic Fish." Here's a summary: A little boy catches a fish, and the fish says that he is magic and will make all the boy's dreams come true. The boy lets the fish go, and of course, the fish lied. He escapes. The boys catches the fish later. As you might tell, if some one is pleading for their life, you may not nessecarily take what they say as the truth. And, as for hinting at it. That's a sorta hit-miss thing. I.e. "I can help find the baritones!" Well, that could be taken as "AHA! That clever bastard, he's a Baritone for sure, allright. Trying to get the attention away from him. He's getting my vote." It'd been better to admit it, but alas, people say anything (See article: "MAGIC FISH") Ah well, good luck to ya, suckers! :skull:
Hinckley Posted September 17, 2008 Author Posted September 17, 2008 Personally, I would rather be the fish. And I have been, (see Roman Mafia) even if I was caught later, there was a thrill in tricking people and enjoying those few extra days of life... Your strategy makes sense, though. I can see why you did it. Just wondered how you came to the conclusion. Good game!
