Wout Posted September 13, 2008 Posted September 13, 2008 This is a terriffic moc. I would buy it if TLC would make something like this. Quote
NewRight Posted September 14, 2008 Posted September 14, 2008 B-E-A-utiful! I think I have fallen in love with stripes. Sorry for that mildly embarrassing moment. Anyway nice MOC one of the best recreations I have seen. Quote
Snake...SNAKE...SNAAAAKE?! Posted September 15, 2008 Posted September 15, 2008 Forgot. It is soo cool!!!!!!! Quote
DutchRebel Posted September 15, 2008 Author Posted September 15, 2008 wow thats good!!! ever consider selling those? you make some good money on ebay. Hi Darth Jokar, I've never considered selling it. I create MOCs for my hobby not to make money out of them and I get much more satisfaction from all your great comments than some dollars. Thanx! Supremly awsome an awsome moc for an awsome Jedi Double would you ever consider posting instructions for this creation so others (ME! ) can have this in our own collection? Hi snake1992, I never work with instructions on my MOC projects. First I search for reference pix on the internet, or watch parts of the SW movies. Than I just start building and modding it day by day, sometimes during the work I buy some specific parts from Bricklink. I love the proces of seeing the thing come together and making modifications. And of course your comments helped me making it better. So no instructions unfortunately, but you can always try to reproduce it by looking at the pix! good luck DR Quote
bullet8542 Posted September 15, 2008 Posted September 15, 2008 That is one of the finest MOC's I have ever seen looks official absolutely amazing, Great job and thanks for sharing.  Quote

I also used a lot of parts from it for the rest of the MOC to answer your second question. Yep, the striping is done with decals. Thanx DR Quote
Ras 74 Posted September 17, 2008 Posted September 17, 2008 This is an amazing moc! I saw it right after you posted it, but didn´t really had the time to post an answer for you. I have wanted to do this ship as well for some time. I think you have got it as close as possible to the original. The stickers looks really good. Like a official set. You managed to find the right "blue" colour for the cockpit as well. I will definatley borrow alot of you to create my own JSF in this way. When people create such good mocs as this, I wiched that they made a instruction in ML CAD or something. Have you thought of this DutchRebel? -Ras- Quote
DutchRebel Posted September 17, 2008 Author Posted September 17, 2008 When people create such good mocs as this, I wiched that they made a instructionin ML CAD or something. Have you thought of this DutchRebel? -Ras- Hi Ras, as stated in this topic before: I never make instructions for my MOCs. I think it takes the magic away from building. I love starting up a project after getting reference pix from the movies and the internet, than I just start building and modding it. Sometimes during the built you can come up with improvisations that you didn't think of before. Since I was a kid I loved ''working'' like this. I tkink it's just the kick you get from seeing it get together along the way, if I just made instructions and bought all the needed parts from BL than that kick wouldn't be that big I guess. thanx DR Quote
Millacol88 Posted September 17, 2008 Posted September 17, 2008 Great MOC. The most accurate jedi starfighter I've ever seen. The stripes are perfect, as well. I also really like the customized painted cockpit. Quote
legopiotre Posted September 22, 2008 Posted September 22, 2008 Awesome !!! I still have a lot to learn before being able to make such realistic MOC. Moreover, the customized pieces are so great. I just wish we will be able to get your ship as a LEGO set one day Quote
Darth Legolas Posted December 19, 2008 Posted December 19, 2008 (edited) I really love how you did this, I really really do. It's not the style Lego generally uses but this is much more accurate! It's amazing how similar it is! But I have a question... how did you print of those decals? EDIT: nevermind, still, great job! 100000000000/10 Edited December 19, 2008 by Darth Legolas Quote
Snake...SNAKE...SNAAAAKE?! Posted December 21, 2008 Posted December 21, 2008 I actually am going to nitpick something. The ring should have only one engine on each side like in episode 2, not three like in episode 3 except for that, perfect Quote
GloriusShadow Posted December 22, 2008 Posted December 22, 2008 One of the most incredible starwars mocs Ive ever seen! Soo smooth and sleek! Fantastic! Quote
Siegfried Posted December 27, 2008 Posted December 27, 2008 Oh my this is great work. I'm not a fan of Episode III, but the Order 66 scene brings a tear to my eyes every time. I'll be looking out for your MOCs in the future. Quote
General Magma Posted December 27, 2008 Posted December 27, 2008 Wow! That's, amazing! I also wanted to make a Plo-Koon's Jedi Starfighter, but I dunno what to use, which pieces and how I'm gonna make it.. Quote
Mr Spielbrick Posted December 27, 2008 Posted December 27, 2008 Not that I'm contributing much to the conversation, but I have to say: ABSOLUTELY STUNNING! The guys who have kindly said it looks like an official set are mistaken. It looks way better than an official set! Quote
gravysam Posted December 27, 2008 Posted December 27, 2008 greaT JOB relly does the loverly plo koon minifig justace!! hes my favorate jedi Quote

Like for the Slave 1 who is a creation from Junsier on FBTB : FBTB Jesus Aguirre ! i doubt there are many dutch named jesus aguirre...more like a latino. it has all the mark of a copycat. original mocs were posted in sept. why this jesus guy posted in mocpages in dec? most ppl post on the same day or at most 1-2 day apart. i would contact mocpages to have this guy banned. Future74 Posted December 30, 2008 Posted December 30, 2008 Dutch, great work on the Plo Koon Jedi Starfighter! Just amazing. Quote
Eskallon Posted December 31, 2008 Posted December 31, 2008 Lovely creation it is just as i imagined plo koons starfighter to be. Quote
Fallenangel Posted January 19, 2009 Posted January 19, 2009 I saw this on FBTB and I thought, "nice paint job dude!" Where did you get the white 1x4 slope bricks you used for the nose? I can't find it on Google and it's not on MLCad. My only gripe is that it's too big. Other than that it's perfect. Quote
