Axle Posted September 13, 2008 Posted September 13, 2008 I'll start off with " My friend gave me 'Charley's War' for a lend because he new I was into World War I Tanks, so I could get good views on it, I decided to build one!" But, to annoy people I'll show the Lego Indy Tank first. It is the same as the one from the 'Warehouse' level in the game, well was, so I added sponsons and guns and it came out like this: Smooth on top! The side ith here. Looketh ateth iteth. The back has a clip for a shovel, or something that I lost. Interior, sorry for the blurriness. Final shot, with all parts taken off. Now, for the Mark I. I know it seems short. The tracks are made from plates. Overall shot. It is hard to fill up some of the gaps. Side with Sponson, looks a bit odd. The back. I don't know why they had cartwheels, but I think it was for steering or something. The top with hatch. ( Twist head to the left) Here is a look through the back door with the cameras light on, it's all a bit technical, know what I mean? (Anyone get that? Ahh, go read Charley's war then) Topview of the interior. Only the engine is detailed, I haven't made the gun controls yet. We'll see the engine later. Drivers. Engines! My God! A frying pan and car.. thing. Or it's a radio. Another view of the side. From Left to right, Steerer, Driver, Soldier, Soldier, Tank commander, German Driver, Colonel Vogel. Size comparrison. Finally, the tank is about to land in the trench. Menacing. Thank you! I may build more WWI MOCS soon, my priority would be a biplane. Quote
Sir Dillon Posted September 13, 2008 Posted September 13, 2008 Hey Axle, this actually belongs in the Other Themes section. I'll move it there. Your pictures are all really dark and have distracting backgrounds, which makes it hard to see the work you've put into your creations. There are a couple tutorials that might help you in the Tutorial Index Quote

I thought it would belong in the history and adventure forum because it is world war 1. Quote
Manta Posted September 13, 2008 Posted September 13, 2008 Could you please put what the pictures describe above them? It would save me, and some other people a lot of confusion. As for you MOCs.......Outstanding! I like the tanks. It would help if the pictures where brighter though. Quote
Axle Posted September 14, 2008 Author Posted September 14, 2008 BLAARGH! Okay, It's time for better pictures. Only of the main tank, though. First, the actual thing. Now, my one. For some reason, in this shot, it looks too short (As in Tall-Short, not Long, Short) Here is a side view on the real, and on mine: Now, mine. The sponson on mine doesn't have a door in it. Another view of the side, more from the front. Here is the back, with a small view inside. The top, with hatch open..... .....and Closed: Here is the side without the armour: Now, the inside of a real, and mine. Real: Mine, I'm aware of the small crew and undetailed inner parts. Another view, you can see the drivers here. The Crew, from left to right: Driver, steerer, Soldier, Soldier, Tank Commander. Now, The men leading it on. And we can see the drivers from outside here. I hope these are better, but I can't get better ones of the other tank right now. Thank you, please add C & C. Quote
Axle Posted September 16, 2008 Author Posted September 16, 2008 No comments yet? Anyways, I might make it bigger if I can find more black 4 x Xs. Quote
