simonjedi Posted April 24, 2009 Posted April 24, 2009 (edited) I'm completely shocked at how sudden and uneventful Derek's death was, there's no flash of shock on his face, or dramatic sting of music, or slow motion. He just goes down and the camera doesn't even bother to linger on him.. It was an awesome scene but it was just a throwaway death. I'm glad it wasn't a cliche slowly dying in john's arms sort of thing but, Jesus the babysitter had a better death than him. Beastwizard stuff remains awesome as ever and i really like Dekker's Connor. This HAS to get a 3rd season, I might forgive fox for cancelling Arrested Development. DarthSion Posted April 24, 2009 Posted April 24, 2009 Its not likely to due to low ratings, and given the season final its not likely. Quote

Captain REX Posted April 25, 2009 Posted April 25, 2009 Dereks death was stupid. The guy in the warehouse with the HK prototype, that sarah killed got a more tragic death than he did. All Derek did was turn round a corner and get shot in the head straight away by the terminator. Derek should have gone out like a badass, sacrificing himself to save sarah and john. Quote
simonjedi Posted April 25, 2009 Posted April 25, 2009 Thinking about it, that's kind of the point. Most people don't have prolong death sequences, most don't expect it. It shows how cold and deadly the terminators actually are, and in retrospect its the best death you could give him. Quote
SWMAN Posted April 26, 2009 Author Posted April 26, 2009 I have a feeling it won't continue. With the way the series ended, it wouldn't be a good idea to continue it. Plus, with Salvation coming out on May 22nd (Hell Yeah!), the stories would probably contradict. Quote
DarthSion Posted April 26, 2009 Posted April 26, 2009 That has nothing to do with it, it was set after 2 so 3 never happened and never did in their ending of the show. Quote

Seriously, dude, I'm getting tired of explaining this to you: The movies (the ones after T2: Judgment Day) and the series are different timelines and have therefore nothing to do with each other! simonjedi Posted April 29, 2009 Posted April 29, 2009 I think they are waiting to see how well salvation will do before renewing/cancelling. Quote
DarthSion Posted April 30, 2009 Posted April 30, 2009 No fox never renews anything until May, the same thing happened last year. And they cant renew it anyway. Quote
Captain REX Posted April 30, 2009 Posted April 30, 2009 Series finale tonight! YAY!!! so if T3 and SCC are alternate timelines, do we know if salvation leads on from T3? Quote
DarthSion Posted April 30, 2009 Posted April 30, 2009 From what i know, yes t4 follows on after t3, i mean john and the chick he hooked up with in t3 is in t4. Well the final is awesome, especially the last few minutes. Quote
DarthSion Posted May 20, 2009 Posted May 20, 2009 I'm reminded of the start of the first futurama movie Benders big score, in which the "box" network executives are sitting around and one guy punches himself and they are clearly dimwitted. And of course that is the case, in un shocking news, the oh lets say "fox powers that be" so i don't get in trouble have decided that yes we will get more stale stagnant simpsons, and family guy, and american dad, and even more of the same with the cleveland show, but have dumped TSCC. Yep fox has officially DUMPED/AXED this show. http://au.tv.ign.com/articles/983/983821p1.html Quote
