Far in the north of Legaña, where the endless desert ill-defines the border, a group of Assault Guards have been assigned to an old watchtower to monitor traffic incoming into the country.

This is a very nice creation. I love your construction of your desert, and the watch tower. The road ahead looks treacherous for the travellers. Your vehicles in this moc, looks nice too. Thanks for sharing with us. Little creatures on your desert such as snakes or catcus will make the desert looks much better.

Great MOC Basiliscus, I love the way that you constructed the desert and the road. My only criticism is that the wheels on the Military vehicle look a bit too small/awkward for the vehicle, were you basing it off any specific vehicle or is it just your design? Otherwise it's a great MOC I love all the little details like the cactus road barricades etc. I hope that you build a few more SNOT creations like this soon :classic: .

Very impressive work, really!

I just love the way you did the sand and the mark of the armoured jeep's wheels in, and, of course, your nice re-interpretation of the classic safari car

I like it , I love the armoured jeep and the little oasis ! but the tower looks unstable :/

Thanks mate, glad you like it. I had actually built this sometime in early June, but it took me ages to come up with the vehicles to populate it with. The idea really came from building the military jeep and I wanted something to show it off, so I built this diorama. I suppose on reflection the watchtower does look a little unstable, just suppose they have access to super-strong materials!

I wish I'd thought of adding a couple of snakes to the diorama, I have a few as well. Good idea and thanks for that suggestion! There is actually a cactus, it's in the photo I have added here, if you flick through the photos there is a close-up. I like the way the cactus came out.

Thanks for the praise, this is the biggest MOC I have yet built but don't worry there will be bigger ones soon! The military jeep is actually entirely SNOT as well, just for those who weren't paying that much attention! Funny you should mention the wheels being too small, another AFOL who I was speaking to mentioned this. I don't really see them being too small, but I think I can't see the forest for the trees so to speak. I will definitely keep this in mind in future, thanks!

Thanks for the kind words mate! The jeep is based on preliminary pics TLC released of the black SUV in the horse-riding set! I used the old safari doors as they were the only white ones I had left!

I must have overlooked it earlier, as I was focusing on the front portion. This is a nice piece of creation! Keep it up.
