Brickthing Posted January 26, 2009 Posted January 26, 2009 I honestly didn't know I was fighting. XDlulz ~Bunda Ar vel. I guess I'd better put this topic back on track... I'm on BZP and I'm called Onuta Nuva there. Just remember that my BZP personna is a lot more sane, and reliable.
hewkii9 Posted January 26, 2009 Posted January 26, 2009 And people will flock to BZP considering it is highly recognized by TLG. Well Ommie my friend, let me ask you this - is BZP recognized by the hewkii9 Association of Excellence?
Brickthing Posted January 26, 2009 Posted January 26, 2009 Well Ommie my friend, let me ask you this - is BZP recognized by the hewkii9 Association of Excellence? It will if I post it on BZP.
Omicron Posted January 26, 2009 Posted January 26, 2009 Well Ommie my friend, let me ask you this - is BZP recognized by the hewkii9 Association of Excellence? What is so great about it? -Omi
Neaku Posted January 26, 2009 Posted January 26, 2009 Wait you guys do realize that the amount of posts doesn't matter, right? It's the amount of members... active members that matter. You guys seem to think that a group of friends (about 20 maybe?) will be able to overcome a forum of thousands if you post more than them. I could make a forum of only me and post in there as much as I want. Eventually I'll get over BZP's post count, but that doesn't make my forum better. Oh and work on your Paint skills it is a bit blurry and eh... pixely. ;)
McSmeag Posted January 26, 2009 Posted January 26, 2009 I cant tell, are you on our side? Side? Why are you trying to make this about "sides"? Who is on a side? They're freaking web sites, people. Grow up. I'm not saying legitimate criticism can't be lobbied against BZPower; the site is not perfect and doesn't make pretenses of being so (we simply strive to make it so ^^). Decisions have been made that I disagree with, just as there are undoubtedly decisions on this site and any site I'll disagree with. That doesn't mean these aren't good sites, not in the least! I like BZPower a lot: I think it is run how a community for a children's toy, and a site with children in the membership, should be run. There are a lot of really cool people in there, including many who have become dear friends of mine. I'm quite honestly proud to be a member of the staff and of the work I and my comrades have done to keep the community clean and safe for people of all ages.
InnerRayg Posted January 27, 2009 Posted January 27, 2009 Hi smeag Let's just hope they don't catch onto our plan of taking over EB from the inside.
JINZONINGEN73 Posted January 27, 2009 Posted January 27, 2009 The ever responsible Jinzo... Bah. I just like to moderate the way I wish to be moderated. One can post with something next to zero fear. Pummelings don't start when someone fails at the internet... only when they start failing as human beings.
hewkii9 Posted January 27, 2009 Posted January 27, 2009 It will if I post it on BZP. No because then technically you'd have to put your avatar in it and change it to say 'I'm 3D Brickthing and I approve this message'. What is so great about it? Well, the hewkii9 Association of Excellence has earned several accolades over the years, including an internets and multiple cookies. So, yeah.

hewkii9 Posted January 28, 2009 Posted January 28, 2009 So what's so great about it? It is very exclusive as well - only EB has met the standards of the hewkii9 Association of Excellence. A few suggestions to put BZP in that prime position to get a h9AE Award- - Remember that KimPower thing that happened a few years ago? TuesdayPower every Tuesday. - Ladies' night on Friday. - Try to attract a few high-profile fans of Bionicle to the site. Y'know, Jessica Alba, Jack Black, Mr Spielbrick, The crazy one...the list goes on really.

Algernon Posted January 28, 2009 Posted January 28, 2009 So pretty much it means nothing. That is all I needed.-Omi I think that was abundantly clear from his first mention of the award... was that really necessary?
Omicron Posted January 28, 2009 Posted January 28, 2009 I think that was abundantly clear from his first mention of the award... was that really necessary? I dunno, ask him. He was the one who first mentioned it. -Omi
hewkii9 Posted January 28, 2009 Posted January 28, 2009 (edited) I dunno, ask him. He was the one who first mentioned it. Alrighty there, you've just earned the very first hewkii9 Association of Punishment demerit. I'm very sorry, but we are living in a society. Rules must be enforced. Algernon you get one of these too. The Rules - 1. Don't go killing people. 2. 'All your base are belong to us' and LOLcats lost their humor several years ago. 3. There are areas set aside for you to burn things, and the retirement home is not one of them. 4. It's common knowledge that Lego is the bomb. Ka-boom. 5. No trash talking the hewkii9 Association of Excellence. Edited January 28, 2009 by hewkii9
Omicron Posted January 28, 2009 Posted January 28, 2009 Alrighty there, you've just earned the very first hewkii9 Association of Punishment demerit. Woopty freakin doo. -Omi
hewkii9 Posted January 28, 2009 Posted January 28, 2009 Woopty freakin doo. Meh, nothin' I c'n do now. There's nothin' in the rules 'bout trash talkin' the hewkii9 Association of Punishment.
The Dor Posted January 28, 2009 Posted January 28, 2009 Woopty freakin doo.-Omi Oh calm down Omi. You may think you're awesome, and you may very well be, but get off your high horse. Don't get all bent out of shape over hewkii9. Srsly. Anyway, I don't get what you guys are all complaining about BZP for. It's a place for legit info. It can't really afford to be lax about it, because it really needs Lego's approval in order to obtain its info. So yeah. Quit yer complainin and just be friendly here or at BFM.

Legoking Posted January 29, 2009 Posted January 29, 2009 Yes, I am a member, but eurobricks is much better.
The Alchemyst Posted January 29, 2009 Posted January 29, 2009 I lol'd throughout the entire thing. XD No offense to anyone, of course. I just think EB has some pros and BZP as some pros. EB just isn't focused a lot on Bionicle, so there isn't a wide variety of many discussions. But then again, the topics do go off topic, and the BZP topics aren't all very discuss-ful. =/ But as I said, pros and cons, pros and cons. EB has a lot more system, and after joining here, I've been getting back into System. But in BZP it's a lot easier to find some Bionicle-related trades, availability news, and reviews. [-The Alchemyst-]
Commander Andrew of 501 st Posted January 29, 2009 Posted January 29, 2009 Umm what? I didn't even know I was freaking out.-Omi I find it quite funny how mods on some forum join another one to talk crap and act cocky
