Santhor Posted September 24, 2008 Posted September 24, 2008 Okay, so, I've been a "lurker" for a while, and then created an account, but then still lurked for a few months. However, now, I POST ( ). So anyways, I, of course, am into Lego. I especially like Castle and Pirates, and Space themes are okay, but I'm mostly into the "less civilized" stuff. I also really like music, although I can't play an instrument. I hope to write a fantasy book one of these days, and I like creating some of my ideas/characters out of Lego(brick)s, hence the avatar. I am a big fan of Tolkien and his work, and I draw a lot of my ideas from that. Ah, that's another thing I like to do: draw, even if I'm not so good at it. That pretty much is a quick summary of my tastes, although I better quickly explain something: The minifig in my avatar is one of the main antagonists of my story that I'm working on, who is a master of dark arts/black magic. He rules his empire from his capital, Mirelandi. He is not supposed to represent me, I just like how the figure turned out, so that's why I used him for my account here. *insert cool sign off here* Quote

WhiteFang Posted September 24, 2008 Posted September 24, 2008 Santhor, welcome to Eurobricks! It seemed both of us has something similar in common, which is story writing and castle theme. I am particpating EBRP (Eurobricks Roleplay) which involved story writing with your fantasy characters. If you are interested, I will be glad to tell you more. Love to see you particpating in our forums instead of lurking around. EBRP Discussion thread EBRP Story Link WhiteFang Quote

Eurobricks Emperor Bonaparte Posted September 24, 2008 Eurobricks Emperor Posted September 24, 2008 I am a big fan of Tolkien and his work, and I draw a lot of my ideas from that. Did you already read "The Silmarillion"? The book is still waiting on my self. It seems rather heavy. That being said, I love the 3 LOTR movies! Welcome at Eurobricks! Quote
Santhor Posted September 24, 2008 Author Posted September 24, 2008 Thank you everyone for the warm welcome. I plan on posting some of my creations (I currently only have figures, though) as soon as possible. No, I have not read "the Silmarillion", as I too thought it to be quite hefty. Also, when I have the time, I'll have to check out that EBRP. Thank you for the suggestion. *still lacks a cool sign off* Quote
