Wrinkledlion X Posted September 28, 2008 Posted September 28, 2008 Just a small edit- A propaganda poster for Teridax's revolution against Miserix. It reads "IN THE FACE OF TYRANNY, SEE THE LIGHT BY LOOKING INTO THE SHADOWS." The bottom is "REVOLUTION." (Inspired by the Russian Revolution.) Quote
Holy Diver Posted September 30, 2008 Posted September 30, 2008 Very good edit, but I think it was more of a quick coup than a full blown revolution. I always thought that Teridax was a Red. Quote
Zorro Posted September 30, 2008 Posted September 30, 2008 Nicely done... A "revolution" is a big word though. Quote
Captain Green Hair Posted September 30, 2008 Posted September 30, 2008 Errr, do you mind explaining what this is about? Quote
Zorro Posted September 30, 2008 Posted September 30, 2008 (edited) Errr, do you mind explaining what this is about? Instead of writing an entire story I will give you a link http://bionicle.wikia.com/wiki/Teridax It looks like an edited brotherhood "flag/poster" I think at least this is what he is referring to... Holy Diver Posted September 30, 2008 Posted September 30, 2008 Bionicle has a Wiki? There is a wiki for everything. Quote

El Bucanero Posted October 1, 2008 Posted October 1, 2008 Starting to relate Bionicles to communism? I'm don't think that was TLC's intention. There is a wiki for everything. Well, there's no bloody Mr Tiber wiki! Why can Bionicle have a wiki why I can't Quote
Zorro Posted October 1, 2008 Posted October 1, 2008 (edited) Starting to relate Bionicles to communism? I'm don't think that was TLC's intention. I dont see Lego relating to communism quickly either. Except for the use of a lot of red that is. And Im pretty certain TLC is 100% capitalists. Well, there's no bloody Mr Tiber wiki! Why can Bionicle have a wiki why I can't reason 1: Bionicle is a lot more populair then you. reason 2: Bionicle is a lot more interesting then you. reason 3: Bionicle is a lot better looking then you. reason 4: Bionicle is a lot better known then you. reason 5: The Bionicle-inventors (TLCengineers) are a lot richer then you. reason 6: The Bionicle-inventors are a lot more populair then you. reason 7: The Bionicle-inventors are a lot more interesting then you. reason 8: The Bionicle-inventors are a lot better looking then you. reason 9: The cats of the bionicle inventors are a lot more..........Do I need to continue? BUT: I wouldnt want to exchange 1 mr. Tiber for all the Bionicle sets available ! I hope I didnt alter something on anyones self-imaging PS: PLEASE dont throw me in the brick for this , my psy told me "to express my feelings more openly..." >So hes to blame. (this be a joke) Edited October 2, 2008 by zorro3999 Quote
Captain Green Hair Posted October 1, 2008 Posted October 1, 2008 Well....mr. Tiber is quite popular with ladies you know... Quote
Wrinkledlion X Posted October 1, 2008 Author Posted October 1, 2008 You crazy? Makuta's such a communist it boggles the mind: Or there are these. Seriously. "Thoughts can be dangerous?" "Trust in Turaga Dume?" "Obedience is happiness?" "A busy Matoran is a happy Matoran?" So Soviet. Quote
Holy Diver Posted October 3, 2008 Posted October 3, 2008 Those animations made the Vakhi (which would have been boring otherwise) for me. I they made them seem more like secret police that dealt swift, ungodly justice to political dissidents and corrupt criminals than just annoying robots that got in the heroes' way and were quickly subdued. Whoever thought up whole Commie/Facist secret police bit should have gotten a promotion. Quote
Heir of the Chronicler Posted October 5, 2008 Posted October 5, 2008 I'm with Diver. Those animations gave the Vahki character :-D Quote
Zarkan Posted October 6, 2008 Posted October 6, 2008 Nice artwork - I really like how you fleshed out the Communist Makuta concept. I'm with Diver. Those animations gave the Vahki character :-D And so am I. These animations are probably the last good flash animations we've gotten - they really helped give a creepy air to the second half of 2004, and are shockingly close to real history propaganda. Quote
