Ulrich Posted October 1, 2008 Posted October 1, 2008 CIVIL Discussion here. News: -IT'S NOT ANIME. -Episode 78 Airs in America on CN on October 3rd [supposedly] -Three 70min direct-to-DVD movies will be released in 2009 -Season 5 comes of France in 2009 I've got a theory as to how XANA will come back. Nicolas and Herb go check out the factory again, turn on the supercomputer, and get scared and run off. XANA somehow is reawakened. Yay. I've been able to find a red longsleeve shirt, and wore it under a black t-shirt, and several people called me William. xD
Oky Posted October 1, 2008 Posted October 1, 2008 To counter the super negative post you have left in my Clone Wars thread, I shall give you a simple fact of life as well: This show is boring as hell! Every single episode is the megablocking same: There is an attack, the kids go into Lyoko to shut down a tower and stop the attack, they go back in time to prevent everything from happening. Yawn! It doesn't make any sense at all either. How can a computer virus possess lifeforms? Why doesn't traveling back in time prevent people from dying? And why do the kids go through all the trouble of shutting down towers if they could just travel back in time and prevent Xana from ever activating them in the first place? I just don't get it. And the animation is kinda cheesy/limited too. It's not much better than most of what's currently on CN. Star Wars: The Clone Wars, on the other hand, is a highly creative sci-fi/fantasy saga with much more interesting and epic plot(s) and character development(s). It's sure to kick Code Lyoko's butt! Oh, and btw: The concept of Oban Star-Racer is a complete rip-off of Star Wars' Podracing! Alright, now we're even! Welcome to Eurobricks, and try to change your attitude if you want to stay here.
Darth_Legois Posted October 1, 2008 Posted October 1, 2008 Amen oky And to think he wants it in LEGO! HA
Pencoin Posted October 1, 2008 Posted October 1, 2008 (edited) Ultra-Snip. You speak the raw truth. And this guy likes Bionicle, I got to go and defend the topic. Edited October 1, 2008 by Pencoin
Bob Posted October 1, 2008 Posted October 1, 2008 I have to agree, every story is very simaliar. The computer infects something, kids run around all sorts of places to stop the computer, computer gets beaten. Its basically the same thing every episode.
Lt. Col. Thok Posted October 1, 2008 Posted October 1, 2008 This reminds me of a fairly similar topic that we had not too long ago....
Pencoin Posted October 1, 2008 Posted October 1, 2008 This reminds me of a fairly similar topic that we had not too long ago.... I remember, what do kids see in these shows?

True, but that is so with a lot of series/cartoons (eg. Roadrunner (MIP-MIP) ) No, you are right, its cool for one season but then it just gets boring... Id choose SWCW above Lyoko anytime.
slimninj4 Posted October 1, 2008 Posted October 1, 2008 Im not so much into the repetitive storyline but I do love the art work and animation. The character designs are sweet.
Shoc Posted October 1, 2008 Posted October 1, 2008 Im not so much into the repetitive storyline but I do love the art work and animation. The character designs are sweet. I've only seen bits of the programme so I don't know the storyline, but the actual thing that put me off was the character designs and other visual bits. Just looks creepy... :skull:
commanderbly42 Posted October 2, 2008 Posted October 2, 2008 I used to like it but it got boring after awhile. I sometimes watch it just for old times sake but I've pretty much left it behind.
Ulrich Posted October 2, 2008 Author Posted October 2, 2008 Okay, it appears you dipshits have reading problems. Was it not clear enough in the first post that this thread was for CIVIL discussion? And it's just so lovely how a moderator seemed to be encouraging the flaming. Way to go. Get the broom out of your megablocks and discuss it in a civil way, or don't even discuss it.
Ulrich Posted October 2, 2008 Author Posted October 2, 2008 Since it appears you guys are mentally incapable of discussing this subject in a mature and civil matter, I'm going to request this topic to be locked. Seriously, people. Especially you, Darth_Legodickhead.
Shadows Posted October 2, 2008 Posted October 2, 2008 mentally incapablemature and civil Darth_Legodickhead. Good example. Consider it locked, but because of your inability to post in a mature and civil manner without resorting to namecalling. You set the tone in the first post and knew what you would get, so don't act surprised.
Siegfried Posted October 2, 2008 Posted October 2, 2008 Please guys. If you think something sux and it's already been said, there really is no need to keep posting about how much you don't like something. Remember that you should try to add to a discussion when you make a post. Even so, personal attacks are never justified, no matter how annoyed you are that someone doesn't share the same interests as you. And it's just so lovely how a moderator seemed to be encouraging the flaming. Way to go. ....er who?
