MattZitron Posted August 30, 2005 Posted August 30, 2005 I was lucky enough to see Serenity at the Edinburgh Film Festival. REALLY good. Firefly fans won't be disappointed. And even if you don't know Firefly (if you don't, go and see the series. 20 times better than Buffy.) you'll like the film. Its got so much going on its a fantastic mixed genre piece. Its a Scifi Western Kung-Fu Comedy Action film with some Zombie elements. I recommend you go watch the series, THEN watch the movie when its out later in the year. Quote
Lord Thrawn Posted September 1, 2005 Posted September 1, 2005 W00t! Even if I didn't know what the show was about (missed it. somehow) I'll probably go to see this. Quote
Izzy Posted June 23, 2007 Posted June 23, 2007 bump! Has anyone seen this...? I couldn't find anywhere in the forums that had it already. Sorry if its here. The Firelfly Ship from Firelfy/Serenity. http://www.reasonablyclever.com/lego/firefly/index.htm Quote
Asuka Posted June 23, 2007 Posted June 23, 2007 Very nice, with lot of details, especially for the engines, thanks for that link, Mdme. cutlass_iz. *y* Quote
Starwars4J Posted June 24, 2007 Posted June 24, 2007 Apparently the Millenium Falcon from Star Wars inspired the Serenity... According to Joss Whedon, the Millennium Falcon was a primary inspiration for his show Firefly. The ship also inspired the ship Serenity, which played a major role in his show. Source Quote
Izzy Posted June 24, 2007 Posted June 24, 2007 No problemo.... it's brilliant. I'd kill for one of these. The lights, the size... ooooh! *wub* I'm not too impressed with all his minifigs tho. *n* I've seen much better and am eagerly awaiting more. Quote
Siegfried Posted June 24, 2007 Posted June 24, 2007 Thanks very much for posting this. So far I have only seen Serenity and I loved it. I am on the lookout for the series and I will buy it on sight! Quote
