Say, do you remember CW cartoon? That was awfull in it's exagurration and things like that. ) When I see such things here, I'm really getting upset. I mean, when 40 BD cannot hit 3 clones.... :hmpf: I just don't want the cartoon to go goofy and become very childish. )

Yeah, now that show was very...overpowered. I still liked it though, mostly for the ARC troopers.

Ok i watched the cartoon network trailer of the innocents of ryloth on youtube and is it me or at the end does the announcer say: "blinking is for suckers". Hold the phone. Little children will have been watching that trailer. Do you really think Suckers is the correct language CN? What are you trying to teach them? That if they miss your shows than they suck?

That's funny that they say that when they edited 'hell' out of Rookies... Hm.

This is my opinion as well. It wasn't really that much of a space battle, first part didn't make sense tactically, sending 8 or so STARFIGHTERS (not bombers) to attack several a heavily armed and armoured capital ship. The second attack is essentially several bombers and fighters blowing the crap out of several cruisers without any real opposition,

I wasn't sure what their plan was on that....Where were the bombers in the first attack?

Take a look at this- http://starwarsblog.starwars.com/index.php...-meet-cad-bane/. Wow Cad Bane, bounty hunters and Aurra Sing
An edgy preview of the March 20th season finale then screened — clips of a bounty hunter-filled episode called “Hostage Crisis,”

so episode 22 is Space Die Hard then? Aurra Sing looks good.

I dunno, if it was during a bigger battle it wouldn't be that bad. Something like, "me and my squad have got a good chance of hitting something valuable here, we're going for it," would make sense

I saw Storm Over Ryloth on YouTube, and it was pretty good. I liked the acting a lot better than in other episodes, but Anakin shouldn't have a "soft side". He was too mushy-gushy towards Ashoka when she failed the first assault.

Speaking of Grievous... Where the heck is he?

I was thinking the same thing. At first, we were complaining about Greivous episodes all being the same; Republic victories and Greivous escaping, but now there's not enough. I also enjoy a new CIS general, but I think the tow (Greivous and other CIS generals) could be balanced more. A Greivous victory, or any CIS victory for that matter, would be nice.

On another note, I was glad to see Wat Tomber make an appearance. The last time we saw him was in ATOC, way back in '02. This brings hope of other old CIS leader making appearances, such as Poggle the Lesser and Dooku or even Sideous (we haven't seen him at all).

I did like his spinny thing on the side of his head.

Yeah, what was that? When it's blue, he's happy, when it's red, he's mad? It was distracting, though, and I had to go back in the video because I wasn't paying attention to what he was saying.

We got to see the T.V. wall thing again from Ep. 1. I was pleasantly suprised to see that.

I agree, those are much cooler than hologram projectors.

But don't Venators cost like, I dunno, billions of dollars to make? :look:

Well, they probably cost a lot, but the producers must figure that kids don't really care, and I suppose it's all for the better outcome of the episode.

I noticed something in this week's edition of The Clone Wars, Storm Over Ryloth.

The alternate sticker for the Republic Dropship in set 10195 (see pic), can be seen on a gunship in the background during a hangar scene (see 6:51 on this video).

I noticed this when watching the episode and thought I'd share it with you guys.

Supervising Director Dave Filoni took to the stage next to discuss the evolution of Bane. “That one gets pretty violent,” warns Filoni of the episode. “We wanted to get a bit more intense in some of the episodes of the series, so if you have really little kids, there’s stuff that’s pretty intense. Nothing that you don’t see in Star Wars, normally.”

:oh3: Wow! That sounds awesome! :cry_happy: Now we know why this is the true season finale! :sweet:

It's great that they bring Aurra Sing into the show IMHO. The CW style suits her very well. She looks sexy!:grin:

And do you know what this means? There is now a possibility of an Aurra Sing minifig! :cry_happy:

Btw, here is the wookieepedia page of Cad Bane which features a pic of him: Link

Good eye! :oh: If this is really where the reference for that sticker comes from, it would strange, though, since the head seems to be red and it is on a LAAT/i, not an LAAT/c.

Oh well. As long as we do get that sticker, I'm fine with it.

Shaweet! I cannot wait to see Aurra and Bane kicking some clone b@£$! Hopefully we will see a bit more chopping up clone action which is longer than three seconds. :hmpf_bad:

Why do you expect bounty hunters like them to "chop" clones? :look: Bounty hunters shoot, don't chop. If anything, that's Grievous' job. And yes, I hope we see some more of that too!

As an old movies and books fan, I never really found much enjoyment in the Prequels...

But Clone Wars is really great. I enjoy the designs and ships and battles, and stories that actually have some thought put into them!

I wish they'd do a story about a renegade Super Droid. that's be fun.

Your an American right Rex?, or not, either way im guessing you dont know much about Kiwi's, you seen Jango was played by a Kiwi, so the clones also have a Kiwi accent, and although its a crappy accent, the New Zelanders say things differently, Six when said by a Kiwi sounds more like seex.

Well, that was because Anakin relates to Ahsoka so well. As Ahsoka has pointed out, they have a lot of traits in common, so Anakin knew he would have done the same and went easy on her. Besides, Obi kinda told him to go easy on her.

Yeah, seriously! :hmpf:

Well, personally, I don't really care for those CIS weirdos  but I agree that Sidious is kinda overdue in this show.

If I'm right, the DS plans in Palpy's hand in the Venator set are foreshadowing a rather interesting episode featuring him, so it could be that we will see Sidious in that ep too.

Yeah, what was that? When it's blue, he's happy, when it's red, he's mad? It was distracting, though, and I had to go back in the video because I wasn't paying attention to what he was saying.

The SW website states that it was based on a mechanical monocle... :look:

To be honest, I didn't find it all that distracting the first time I saw that episode. In fact, for the first half of the episode, I didn't even notice it was spinning. But now that you guys mentioned it, I can't get my eyes off of it. Thanks a lot! :hmpf_bad::tongue:

I agree, those are much cooler than hologram projectors.

Well, I wouldn't say that they are cooler, but they definitely make more sense. I mean, why do most people in the SW universe settle for those small, mono-colored, unstable holograms if they can have giant, crisp, colored video? The answer could be that these TVs are only for short distance communication. The first time we saw it in action, the transmission came from the planet directly below, and the second time, it came from a Venator only a few miles away. Then again, if that's so, why did Tuuk talk to Tambor over hologram instead of the screen when he was on the planet just below him? :sceptic:

Go figure.

But don't Venators cost like, I dunno, billions of dollars to make? :look:

Well, they probably cost a lot, but the producers must figure that kids don't really care, and I suppose it's all for the better outcome of the episode.

Yeah. Besides, if the Republic has the money to produce billions of clones and thousands of vehicles and ships, they probably wont mind replacing one Venator.

Anakin was probably thinking that if he crashed the damaged one, he would get a new one.

 Yeah, probably! I do that in videogames all the time.

2 new clips, boy they look sweet, Obi mind controlling all of them. :oh3:

http://au.tv.ign.com/dor/objects/826173/st...d=1ibg0d4jf4tc5

:oh3: Dude! That's awesome! I feel very proud having a very similar name to Obi's right now.

I didn't even know that there was a force-power like that! I mean, we all know about the infamous Jedi mind trick, but not that they can actually mind-control creatures without saying anything. That's really cool, but I'm guessing that this is one of the more controversial powers (forcing your will upon another being) which is probably why we haven't seen it before. Obi only uses it here as a last resort in order to save the clones.

GO OBI WAN! :sing::thumbup:

Ah you mean other than Anakin used mind control on that "Rhino" thing during the jedi battle at Geanosia, Yeah i know, i never spell it right, i will have to ad it to spell check.

Why do people use youturd, there are other ways to see the clone wars.

When did Anakin control the Reek? I thought it was just coincidence.

Care to suggest any?

Ah, you mean other than Anakin used mind control on that "Rhino" thing during the jedi battle at Geonosis?

He did? :look: I never noticed. Are you sure he didn't just force-push/pull it or something?

But if you're right, that must be where they got the idea from.

Geanosia, Yeah i know, i never spell it right, i will have to ad it to spell check.

Geonosis

It's OK. You almost got it right.

Why do people use youturd, there are other ways to see the clone wars.

Name one.

Btw, why do you call it "youturd"? YouTube is man's best friend!

Well, its kind of mans best friend, but I cant find Star wars the colone wars movie on it, so I am mad.

Thanks for the clips, they look pretty good.

Looks like we get to see some more stuff with Mace and Cody this time.

I really like how they give allot of different characters the chance to shine.

Ooh, wow. Thanks for the links!

Those look great, especially the monster crab/rhino/insect things. Much scarier than the vulture/lions of Jedi Crash.

Can't wait.

Yes I'm sure, during the Jedi battle at Geonosis you see Anakin holding his hand up and the beast shakes its head then he jumps on its back and rides it, if he wasn't using mind control it would have been like a clown riding a bull at a rodeo.

I could name a couple of other ways, but i doubt its legal on this site, i know for a fact you can, i watch dozens of TV shows and not off Aussie TV where anything that's not reality TV crap is put on really late at night, like bsg sga sg1 which got 10pm-12am slots, or in the case of clone wars 12pm Saturday.

Because youturd is a big piece of turd, if all the illegal copyright stuff was taken down there wouldn't be a single decent thing on there.

great episode as usual. I thought the enemy commander was a pretty wise guy, by learning more about his opponent, he managed to know anakin's strengths and weaknesses. Just like the famous phrase from Sun Tzu's art of war, "If you know both yourself and your enemy, you can come out of hundreds of battles without danger." Too bad anakin outsmarted him in the end.

I always wonder how much does a venator cruiser cost? They seem to be losing an awfully lot of those ships throughout the series. Hope the republic ain't too broke!

This week's episode was great.

I hope that there's going to be a tactical droid minifigure that's actually accurate (the pilot droid in the Solar Sailer...).

I found these parts to be good/funny:

The part where the tactical droid says, "Their chances of success against us are 742 to 1", and "I am a droid. I am always correct."

The part where the droid cleaning the cell says, "Yeah, this is the worst part of the droid army...huh? oh..."

And the part where the tactical droid says, "Does not compute. Does not compute." while the Twi'leks are punching his face.

EDIT: By the way, the episode number is 20 and the episode is Innocents of Ryloth.

Yeah, that was a great episode. They really keep getting better and better.

I like how they managed to keep the episode interesting, delving into the clones and Obi-Wan a little more, while still managing to have a decent amount of fighting. On par with Trespass, to me!

I liked how we got to see two clone's different reactions to the girl. Waxer wants to help, and Boil...just wants to get the hell out of there.

The Gutkurrs were great, too! Much scarier than the vulture-things.

My only greivance was what the girl said at the end. I was expecting "Nerra" to mean something like "hero", or "friend." but no, it means "brother." Huh?
