March 7, 200916 yr I really loved the Series though I watched all of them on Youtube since I don't live in America
March 7, 200916 yr I got another hour and half to wait before i can watch it. Oh sorry about before i had no idea that some people pronounce it differently. After all i have never seen nor heard a Kiwi pronounce a word differetly. And no Darth Sion im English not American.
March 7, 200916 yr Ah well there you go, you should know that, Like as one from the founding nation of the English language you should know how a word gets pronounced or (*cough butchered*) in other countries. Ie mUm becomes mom.
March 7, 200916 yr OH MY GODDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD. wow this show never ceases to amaze me, just when you think it cant get any better they out do themselves. that was just incredible, that sucked me in hard on an emotional level, that little girl and the clones was some excellent writing. and funny as hell, "mission accomplished, you made a friend" and then the droid on scrub duty lol. i still cant get over the writing, even if you hate the droid voices, you got to admit the stories have been the same standard the whole way through, no fillers at all, and all good quality, well ok the blue shadow virus was a weak link, but the rest as been excellent.
March 7, 200915 yr wow this guy gets banned on his first day after 6 posts? is that a new record? anyways i really enjoyed the episode and how the twilek girl accepted the clones as her brothers

Captain REX said: wow this guy gets banned on his first day after 6 posts? is that a new record? anyways i really enjoyed the episode and how the twilek girl accepted the clones as her brothers I don't mean to nag, but your grammar is a getting bit sloppy. Repeated letters, no capital letters, 'lol'. I agree with you. I think the episode was very good, but the next one looks even better and a lot more action-packed.
March 8, 200915 yr Quote anyways i really enjoyed the episode and how the twilek girl accepted the clones as her brothers I think she called them that because she thought they were brothers because they have the same face (little children who think clone troopers are droids aren't going to know that they are all clones of the same bounty hunter). Anyways, the episode had much more better action scenes, dialouge, and storyline, and the droid "humor" was actually funny, and the Tactical droid proves to be a formidable and commensurate nemesis to Kenobi. The scenes involving the Acclamator ships were very breathtaking, and we learn a lot about clones in a way similar to "Rookies", with the way Waxer and Boyle take care of the Tweliek girl. Next weeks episode seems like it will be very impressive. I say: 4.5/5 Also, did anyone else catch the short promo for the Hostage Crisis episode? Edited March 8, 200915 yr by vulture droid
March 8, 200915 yr Oky Wan Kenobi said: Well, I wouldn't say that they are cooler, but they definitely make more sense. I mean, why do most people in the SW universe settle for those small, mono-colored, unstable holograms if they can have giant, crisp, colored video? The answer could be that these TVs are only for short distance communication. The first time we saw it in action, the transmission came from the planet directly below, and the second time, it came from a Venator only a few miles away. Then again, if that's so, why did Tuuk talk to Tambor over hologram instead of the screen when he was on the planet just below him? Go figure. Is Wat Tomber on the planet? I'm not sure, but I think he's just leading the mission by telling the other commanders what to do. He could be anywhere in the Galaxy. DarthSion said: Why do people use youturd, there are other ways to see the clone wars. Becuase I don't want to wait a week for an episode to appear online. It's not that I'm impatient, it's just that I can't resist visiting this thread, looking for spoilers. jifel said: Well, its kind of mans best friend, but I cant find Star wars the colone wars movie on it, so I am mad. I usually watch this person's videos. I liked "Innocents of Ryloth" very much. We saw some great clone and Obi-Wan action, and I was glad to see Cody once more before the season ended. The Ghost Squadron was pretty cool, too. I suppose they must be a stealth-based group. "Cody, take your best men and have them scout out the area ahead" "Yes sir. Waxer, Boil, come with me" "I guess we're the best". I also laughed when the Twi'leks clmbed on the robot general's AAT and just beat him up. Mr. Mandalorian said: On par with Trespass, to me! I wholeheartedly agree.
March 8, 200915 yr Rex old boy, sorry couldnt resist, id say it was because he had been banned and came back again using the same email, unless they ban via ip which i doubt. ADHO15, no I'm not, i just typed that on a local pc forum and couldn't be buggered writing the same thing here, and forgot how anal some people are for grammar and spelling on this site. And the second quote wasn't even me. JimButcher, some were like that for a short while, but now every episode is out usually the same day (well for me because I'm 18 hours ahead of the USA, and hd720p version are out with in 24hours. As for the movie, its out just buy it, or go to blockbuster and hire it out. This was the best episode so far. Just curious, does anyone else get a bit of an emotional tug so to speak from this show. Bsg (before they screwed it up) was really the only show to get an emotional response from me, but i seem to be more sucked in to this show than i thought i would. This really has to be the best TV show on right now, no fillers, all the same standard quality (except blue shadow virus), great stories, funny, action, good character development especially showing all the sides to the clones, and the musical score is incredible, really suits the mood of the episode, dare i say as good as the movies.
March 8, 200915 yr I really liked Innocents too! It had a very nice feel of a real war movie to it! This was partly due to the fact that the animation was much better than in any other episode, from the movements of the characters right down to the emotions on the little girl's face! Really excellent work. Also, my namesake utilized his force powers quite well! And the end was pretty funny, of course, where the Twi'leks beat the crap out of the droid while he screams "Does not compute!" and Obi covers the girl's eyes. vulture droid said: I think she called them that because she thought they were brothers because they have the same face (little children who think clone troopers are droids aren't going to know that they are all clones of the same bounty hunter). I don't think so. I think she just meant that they were something special to her: a part of her family. vulture droid said: Next weeks episode seems like it will be very impressive. Hell yeah! With Mace Windu as the protagonist, how could it not be! vulture droid said: Also, did anyone else catch the short promo for the Hostage Crisis episode? Yes! It looked very promising! For those who missed it, I uploaded it to my YouTube: Cad Bane Hostage Crisis Teaser My observations: - Bane kicks some serious Senate Commando butt! - Palpy is in that episode. Perhaps we will see the DS plans from the Venator set in this ep? - That chubby, blue-skinned senator from RotS makes his first appearance in this show. - Threepio is caught in the middle of the whole crisis. Poor droid. He does always get himself into trouble. Can't wait! JimButcher said: Is Wat Tambor on the planet? I'm not sure, but I think he's just leading the mission by telling the other commanders what to do. He could be anywhere in the Galaxy. No, I'm pretty sure he is on Ryloth. In both the Ryloth Trilogy Trailer and the opening sequence of Storm Over Ryloth, you can see a short scene of him talking to some droids in an environment very similar to that of Ryloth. Also, there is a close-up of him in the preview of Liberty of Ryloth with the same type of sky in the background. So, I think it's safe to assume that he is on that planet and will get his butt kicked by Windu in the next ep! Btw, if you ask me, he really needs to get a new vocabulator! That thing can never stay on the same frequency for ten seconds! DarthSion said: ADHO15, no I'm not, i just typed that on a local pc forum and couldn't be buggered writing the same thing here, and forgot how anal some people are for grammar and spelling on this site. I'm sorry, Sion, but I have to agree with ADHO15. Your usual posting manner is quite immature, so that it's hard to read and understand what you mean. So please don't be so lazy and put a little more afford into your posts. Thanks. Back on topic: DarthSion said: Just curious, does anyone else get a bit of an emotional tug so to speak from this show. Well, while I agree that some episodes are quite emotional, none of them really "touches me" if you know what I mean. In fact, even though I'm a pretty sensitive guy, the only scenes in a cartoon that I find truly touching are those found in classic Disney movies. Lion King death scene anyone? I agree. There are very few animated shows at the moment that come close to the quality of The Clone Wars, and I wouldn't be surprised if it wins an award or two for best animated TV show. However, I wouldn't go as far as to say that it's better than the movies. It's hard to compare a whole TV show with only six or seven movies anyway. Also, I still think that Tartakovsky's cartoon was better than this. It was much more innovative, had much more intense action, and much better character development - all that in a series that is only two hours long in total! A true masterpiece! Just my opinion.
March 8, 200915 yr At last they have the new clone wars also here on television. It had to much commercials before, between and after the episode, but it was nice to see it now on the normal way instead of internet. I was happy it was not with dutch voices. I saw the trailer for the movie last year and the dutch voiceovers were to much overacting. It was the second episode I thought, and it was not that good, but also not that bad. Looking out for next week.

This will be his first appearance in the show (excluding the movie)! - In the scene where Bane shoots, the guy behind Padme looks kinda like Bail Organa! Would be cool if he would become part of the show.
March 9, 200915 yr Well that means cad bane is in 2 episodes because apparently hes also schedueled for an episode called cargo of doom. That must be the first episode of series 2. But ive heard that Ahsoka gets a new costume in it!
March 9, 200915 yr Ah, good, I'm tired of seeing too much of Ahsoka every time she's on screen (isn't she about 14 years old?) Hopefully Ventress will follow.
March 10, 200915 yr WOW!!! "Innocents of Ryloth" was amazing . I really like this episode for many things but here are a few of them: - In my opinion, THE FIRST episode that shows really how the inhabitants of a planet live in a war . I really have an emotional shock when the poor little girl found that her house was destroyed and with no sign of her parents (At the same time, it was the best emotional scene so far in the series ). - Some innovative (At least from what I have seen ) uses of the Force. - The whole atmosphere was really good. - One of the first droid commanders that are a REAL PROBLEM for the Republic. - The part with the droid washing the floor was just hilarious . Also thanks Oky Wan Kenobi for the link to that Cad Bane preview . Now that looks like the first "baddie" episode in the series or at least the first one that doesn´t feel that kiddy. Also the first time we seen Anakin and Padme kissing each other in the CW.

We haven't seen so much of her, so I didn't get tired of how she looks yet and don't care if her costume changes or not. darkrebellion said: WOW!!! I agree. As I said before, this episode was the first one that actually felt like a war movie. darkrebellion said: - Some innovative (At least from what I have seen ) uses of the Force. Admittedly, the force powers Obi demonstrated in this ep were rather rare ones, but if they were truly innovative is questionable. The trick of carefully positioning thermal detonators to take out droids was something he already did in the 2D CW cartoon, so that's nothing really new, just another thing the new series copied from the old one. And him mind-controlling those gutkurr beasts was something we haven't seen a Jedi do before, but we did see Dooku forcing a Weequay pirate to turn against his partner. However, these two actions don't necessarily have to be the same force-power. Dooku could have simply been applying the force on the gun in the pirate's hand instead of controlling him. If they are the same power, though, it would raise questions about if it was right of Obi as a Jedi to use this kind of a power. Then again, it's probably much easier and harmless to control a simple-minded beast than a smart pirate. darkrebellion said: - One of the first droid commanders that are a REAL PROBLEM for the Republic. Well, I wouldn't say that he was a real threat since he got his butt kicked pretty good at the end and lost the battle. If he were a commander who actually scores a victory, THEN he would be a real problem for the Republic. But he is not, which is why it was him leading this mission instead of another organic Separatist commander. This reminds me: There is good news for all CIS-lovers! In the video commentary to Innocents of Ryloth, Filoni admits that he screwed up by having Grievous and the other big separatist baddies loose so much and agrees that they need more victories! This means that we can look forward to some more Separatist victories in the next season, especially from Grievous! darkrebellion said: Now that looks like the first "baddie" episode in the series or at least the first one that doesn´t feel that kiddy. Hopefully! It's Die Hard in Space after all! darkrebellion said: Also the first time we seen Anakin and Padme kissing each other in the CW. I don't see what's so great about this since those scenes are kinda annoying. But their love is an important part of the main storyline of the PT, so I guess it's kinda overdue that we see them kissing and it's good that they incorporate that now.

March 10, 200915 yr What is that new costume, a cowboy suit? It kind of clashes with her skin color. I've always wondered why she doesnt wear robes like everybody else.

March 13, 200915 yr Some foreign broadcaster for The Clone Wars was handed a motherload of art from the series for their website. Among them are a lot of concept drawings which are very interesting: http://nrksuper.no/superstore/flashfiles/c...m6/large/01.jpg Just go changing the file number up to 68 to see them all. Some interesting stuff there, like Republic Gunships WITH the side turrets and an Ep3 clone helmet. Edited March 13, 200915 yr by simonjedi
March 14, 200915 yr The new episode was awesome! Wat Tambor's line about "exit strategy" was hillarious. Cham Syndulla was like a Star Wars version of Che Guevara.
