April 1, 201014 yr Who cares if the design donĀ“t match with the Gunship? The result of your printouts looks really great What type of printer do you use? Is it an ordinary printer used at home? Thanks it is ust an ordinary printer. It's one of the newer Hewlett Packard's that has the scanner built in. It retails for $120, I'm surprised they came out good. I'm very proficient with Photoshop so I can tweak designs here and there. I'll continue this project when I get home today. And for those wondering about the paper: it's the Avery one.
April 2, 201014 yr Ok, I'm happy enough with these results to make them "permanent" to one of my MISB Gunships. Minor tweaking, but I find these, with the bolder lines are much more accurate dimensions wise to the actual size of the slope. To the artist: thank you for making this

April 2, 201014 yr Erhm... wut?! Nice designs Thanks but they're not my designs Kim. I got them from your link! And sorry about the confusion. I have 2 built Gunships with Lego's provided nose art. I have 2 other ones I have yet to build (will do those this morning), and those will get the custom stickers. Edited April 2, 201014 yr by Sid
April 2, 201014 yr Ok, I'm done with the second set. I'll post pictures of all the gunships together when I build them. For this second sticker I combined Agi's Trespass with Rayman's "template". Also added little things of my own. Here it is: And for those interested in printing it, here is the LINK.
August 11, 201014 yr to hope everybody can like it Hey agi2007! Sorry to bother, but you have bigger ones of those? Mind posting them? thanks in advance!!!

August 12, 201014 yr Hi I have to share some of my creations "NOSE ART" for RGS "aayla" "ahsoka" "clone ARC pilot" "R2-D2" to hope everybody can like it That is what you call TALENT. Very professional-looking designs and just goes to show agi2007's expertise in digital graphics design. How I wish I had a quarter of his graphics creativity. Truly very impressive works of art! Here is my small contribution to this thread, my first and only custom RGS noseart design, entitled "Strong with the Force", which I've posted in my JAG topic. June 23, 201311 yr As someone who flew on EC-130s in the USAF, and has always lamented the departure of nose art, this is so freaking awesome!!!
June 23, 201311 yr No more? :'( Try to not bump such old topics with short messages like this. If you are wondering about additional nose art, you could send the OP a private message instead.
June 23, 201311 yr Since this got bumped, I would like to tell all the designers that they did a fantastic job on those nose art stickers. If I had any RGS's, I would definitely buy a sticker sheet to have.
June 24, 201311 yr Would it actually be possible to make some/to convert these for the new RGS? I can't think of a good tile to put a sticker on, and it would probalbly look odd with all the stud around it.
June 24, 201311 yr 6x6 tiles don't come in white (They do come in Very Light Grey, which is close, if you resize the sticker appropriately so that it covers as much of the tile as possible.), so you'd probably have to go with a STAMP.
June 26, 201311 yr This is the first time I've seen this thread, VERY COOL! I wonder with the new gunship coming out will we see new nose art for that set? I'm diggin' the green Twi-lek version.
June 26, 201311 yr This is the first time I've seen this thread, VERY COOL! I wonder with the new gunship coming out will we see new nose art for that set? I'm diggin' the green Twi-lek version. Unlikely. The new Gunship has a reduced size front opening of 6X6. The Clone Wars one was 8X6.
June 27, 201311 yr Unlikely. The new Gunship has a reduced size front opening of 6X6. The Clone Wars one was 8X6. i want to see someone mod the new gunship to have an 8x6 opening cause i really love all those nosearts =) (though i guess i could be complicated because of the steady slope-bricks on the top and teh arch right behind the area)
June 27, 201311 yr I think it would be easier to adjust the stickers to 6x6 in Photoshop, and then either apply them to a 6x6 tile in very light grey or a STAMP across multiple tiles. Isolate and move the important elements closer to the center, reduce the width, and then you'd probably have to redo the lime green and dark grey areas to shorten them and line them up with the bricks of their colors. I don't think it would be too hard, though it wouldn't be simple either. But probably the best looking solution. Although I think you should be able to swap out the 2x2x2 white slopes just behind the 6x6 panel area for 1x2x2 slopes, which would give you a little more space to work in. Reducing one of these decals to 7x6 will undoubtedly be easier than reducing to 6x6.
May 25, 20159 yr Just a question, I'm printing out one of these works of art as i write this, and i only need to know this. What size do i need to print the sticker in? I am buying a gunship later so i can't really measure the nose size right now, it would be great if anyone could answer. Thanks in beforehand.
May 30, 20159 yr These are amazing looking! I would like to be able to print out a set for my original gunship and the latest version if any one can help with that as my printer skills are lacking...

These may be the correct sizes already, but incase not. Copy and paste these images into a vector program (illustrator, gimp, paint(paint will decrease quality of these)) otherwise, I THINK Microsoft Word is an alternative method. Meanwhile, Take a tape measure and measure the Height( 4 studs) or Width (6 studs) of any brick plates for referance. I do not know the exact sizes of these off the top of my head. Then adjust sizes accordingly, All I can say is trial and error for prinitng and good luck.
March 3, 20168 yr Hello! I'm new here so if i'm wrong bumping this threas then I'm sorry. I wonder what kind of sticker paper should I use to print the nose art. I'm looking for both white and transparent paper.
March 4, 20168 yr Hello! I'm new here so if i'm wrong bumping this threas then I'm sorry. I wonder what kind of sticker paper should I use to print the nose art. I'm looking for both white and transparent paper. I have only used Testors Decal paper, it's pretty decent stuff, if you know what you're doing. the only problem is that they come in 5.5"x8" (half the size of normal sheets). I found them at Hobby Lobby, you could probably get them at your local hobby shop.
March 4, 20168 yr I just found this now because it was bumped. Might as well add that these still look very cool. Now I wish I had a printer at home because I would definitely like to have some cool nose art on my Gunship too!
