Posted October 5, 200816 yr Vig. 20d Ladies and gentlemen, please let me introduce the pirates band on the isle: This graph is for the article introducing the songs of pirates (written in traditional Chinese). Brickshelf gallery (if it is public) Comments and feedback will be appreciated.
October 5, 200816 yr That's a nice little MOC. Go Pirates, Go Pirates! :P I like how you made the guitar and microphone, but the top of the microphone (Yellow stud) should be dark grey. Lego12
October 5, 200816 yr Governor And the band begins to play! I had also envisioned an Imperial Guard marching band, but never a pirate band. Did anyone go to the "1993 LEGO World Expo - Pirates Ahoy" - there was a lifesized (I think) brickbuilt pirate band there.
October 5, 200816 yr That Captain's movement is hilarious ! (And that red plume vou've added...) It is a really funny and cool MOC you have made here, keep up the good work ! I like how you made the guitar and microphone, Isn't that a Banjo ??
October 6, 200816 yr Author Did anyone go to the "1993 LEGO World Expo - Pirates Ahoy" - there was a lifesized (I think) brickbuilt pirate band there. I went to the "LEGO World Expo - Pirates Ahoy" in 1991 in Kaohsiung when I was eleven. However, I lost the lifesized band in my memory. There is a thread talking about the " LEGO Expo - Pirates Ahoy" in TWLUG Pirates forum: http://www.twlug.info/forums/viewtopic.php?t=11925, and the reporter took the photo of a lifesized brickbuilt violin in the Expo in Hong Kong in 2006. I like how you made the guitar and microphone, but the top of the microphone (Yellow stud) should be dark grey. Aye, the yellow top of the microphone is not clear to see. Thanks for your advice and I'll change the top to dark gray in the revision. Isn't that a Banjo ?? It is more like a Balalaika.

Thank you for this link CVSPIS_CELIDVS, the linking page appears to have images of exhibits in the expo that I've forgotten so that's always exciting!
October 17, 200816 yr Sweet! I don't know how I missed this because it is awesome. Pays to go back a few pages, that's for sure. This might even inspre me for the PTV competition...
October 18, 200816 yr This is a really cool MOC, with much detail. I really like the guy playing the bugle!
October 19, 200816 yr Author Here comes the revision: I changed the top of microphone to metal sliver because I found that I didn't have dark gray round plate.
