Rivets Posted August 26, 2005 Posted August 26, 2005 i pray that this boba is the cloud city version, i mean why not, its more movie acurate, and i dont have the cloud city set.. yet lolgreat design, a little more acurate then JFS1, but im trying to figure out what is goin on at the bottom of the entrance ramp lol, theres a gap where it looks like it should move or something, up or down not sure hope its cloud city version thats all i can say lol br()wnie You know what? I guess TLC included the Cloud City guard figure to move people make up their minds and get the Bespin set anyway. Quote

xwingyoda Posted August 27, 2005 Posted August 27, 2005 I've been comparing my Jango's and this new Bobba's Slave1. TLC fixed a lot of imprerfections in the construction (I am not talking color scheme here). First the wing themeselves, they got rid of this horrendous Bionicle part, did a great job on details, and the wing attachments to the main body are really nice and much more complex !!! Also the "tail" from the main body looks way better: its not wider but looks a lot more detailed, especially the part just after the cokpit !!! Finnally the rear looks rounder and wider!! However, it suffers from the same defaults as Jango's. The front should have been modified: where the cokpit attaches, the plates should have been curved, like the curved bricks underneath. I hope that where the wings attach to the main body there will not be a huge "hole". The rear looks as plain: there is that big hole enabling the rear to open up, and I hope there is a real closing on the rear !!! Can't wait to have more detailed pics !!!! Quote

Some of you don't quite seem to understand the idea of a teaser ;) I bet Ace will give us a blurred A-Wing pic today, a blurred Interceptor pic tomorrow, and then we'll start getting clear pics. That someone over here would post the real pic while the FBTB dweebs still have that blurred one. I'm guessing that the pic comes from a Lego ambassador. They get news about new sets a few days earlier, but as they're under NDA, they're not able to leak pictures and the like. If so, they must've figured posting blurred pics lets them off the hook. Chances are the unblurred pics are posted as soon as the official Lego message comes out. Quote
