ApophisV Posted November 3, 2004 Posted November 3, 2004 Isn't Anakin's starfighter the one from the Clone Wars cartoon? Quote
jonfett Posted November 3, 2004 Posted November 3, 2004 But will it be the same in the film? Jon. Quote
Jipay Posted November 3, 2004 Posted November 3, 2004 No, it's exactly like on the pic. The lego model is definitly really accurate comparred to the movie version Quote
jonfett Posted November 3, 2004 Posted November 3, 2004 But it is not accurate to the clone wars one, from what I can remember Anakin starfighter was different in the cartoons. Jon. Quote
ApophisV Posted November 3, 2004 Posted November 3, 2004 That's what I meant... The Clone Wars starfighter looked very much like a tuned up version from the JSF from Episode 2... THIS one looks even more developed.... Quote
jonfett Posted November 3, 2004 Posted November 3, 2004 That's what I meant Ah! so finally we understand each other! :P It does look more developed, but what do you think this *will* develop into to? Does it remind you at all of any of the OT ships?? Jon. Quote
Jipay Posted November 3, 2004 Posted November 3, 2004 Yeah, but the clone wars one is not the fighter that is used in the movie Quote
ApophisV Posted November 3, 2004 Posted November 3, 2004 Hm... I looked for a very long time at those round front window and the solar panels at the wings... It's looking like.... like... hm.... I think I saw a similar ship at Star Trek: Voyager.... :D :P Quote
Vader Posted November 3, 2004 Posted November 3, 2004 No, its not the one from the clone wars cartoon, in the cartoon anakins ship is destroyed so i guess this is his replacement. Quote
jonfett Posted November 3, 2004 Posted November 3, 2004 Yeah, but the clone wars one is not the fighter that is used in the movie Which movie??? Episode 3? And what is the picture of? I am confused! *wacko* Jon. Quote
Vader Posted November 3, 2004 Posted November 3, 2004 This is indeed the one that he will use in ep 3. Quote
ApophisV Posted November 3, 2004 Posted November 3, 2004 Ts ts ts.... Jipay is spreading leaked pictures all over the whole internet.... :P Quote
Vader Posted November 3, 2004 Posted November 3, 2004 Hey i say keep em coming :-D Edit by Cello Collin: Ts ts ts!!! No leaked infos and pictures here!!!! I will lock this down now!!!! Edit by ApophisV: Sorry, dude, wrong place here... :D Quote
Jipay Posted November 3, 2004 Posted November 3, 2004 yeah the pic is a picture of episode III with the fighter in action. I have clearer pics of the fighter in the last lucasfilm magasine but it's at my parent's house. The new fighter for anakin in Episode 3 is the one you see on the picture but in yellow Quote
Padawan716 Posted November 4, 2004 Posted November 4, 2004 71 pieces? I think that's a filler. The Droid fighter is probably 40 pieces itself. But it does look very cool. I think it's changed my outlook on this upcoming 2005 release! Quote
DoubleT Posted November 4, 2004 Posted November 4, 2004 Well we havnt seen any of 2005's yet :) Quote
Jipay Posted November 4, 2004 Posted November 4, 2004 the EP III trailer can be found here right click and save it. It shows the yellow fighter Quote

Precious Jazz Posted November 5, 2004 Posted November 5, 2004 Here's a streaming version of the trailer: http://www.accesshollywood.com/ente...996/detail.html Quote
Jipay Posted November 5, 2004 Posted November 5, 2004 The link is not working (: / (I didn't know you were such a star wars fan :) ) Quote
Vader Posted November 5, 2004 Posted November 5, 2004 Wow after seeing the trailer for ep 3 im filled with a sense of hope, it was such a short trailer and yet i saw quite a few good new vehicles that lego could make and the next few years should be interesting. I see that lego will be releasing 9 sets in april, dont they usually only release 7??? Quote
Precious Jazz Posted November 5, 2004 Posted November 5, 2004 I love SW to death!!! Unfortunatly most of the links to the trailer are now dead but you can still find a few sites that have it here: http://www.themoviebox.net/movies/2005/STU...de3/trailer.php Vader - Lego are only releasing 2 sets in February (TIE Fighter and the Jeid Starfighter/Vulture Droid) which could be why we're seeing 9 sets in April. Quote
Vader Posted November 5, 2004 Posted November 5, 2004 Yes but lego released a jedi starfighter in feb 02 before ep 2 was released, however they only released 7 sets in the april of that year.Making a total of 8 sets. Where as if the list is true we will get a starfighter (i dont count the tie fighter as its not from ep 3) in feb and 9 more in april of 05,, making a total of 10 sets. Im not complaining, in fact im very happy and looking forward to it. :) Quote
