I hope these are true, if so it will have been worth me waiting for an individual tie interceptor and a new version of the b-wing. The new characters being produced sound good as well. :f)

to be honest, i'm a bit suspicious as well.

these serial numbers don't make any sense. 62? the last series ended well into the 72's. i don't see tlc changing to a lower series just like that. i don't see the logic in that.

right now, this looks like a rumour to me. i hope Sam's sources will be able to confirm the release of these sets asap...

That wouldn't surprise me since the V-Wing was rumoured !!!

Also, it would make sense to redesign the A and B wings !!! they were getting a little "old" !!!!!!

The Tie Interceptor existed in mini and UCS but NEVER in system scale.

I'm more surprised with the Slave 1 !!!!! Its good because the first version was crap !!!!!!!

Only good news if those rumours are true !!!!! (I think they are ;) ).

Here's a list on yakface.com of 5 new OT Star Wars sets. I think they're real, since I heard some rumours about them before.

- 6205 V-Wing with Clone Pilot

- 6208 B-Wing with Pilot

- 6206 Tie Interceptor with Pilot

- 6209 Slave I with Fett, Ig-88, 4-LOM, and Dengar!

I think this is great (if true). We get a couple of needed redesigns and some new ships. Plus we get some great minifigs as well. These should all be reasonably priced too ($20-40).

Don't take anything Wolf says seriously. He spouts off at the mouth all the time but it never really adds up to much. Didn't you read his sig. ?

FBTB does have some more uptight people due to the immaturity of some of it's younger (and older) members. Some people can be quite annoying.

Remember this is Eurobricks, if it is announced here you can pretty much know it will happen. Though it has happened that somethings get leaked so early some times that the idea is scrapped and replaced by something else.

To be more on topic :| 8-| :$ I will be getting some of these. I am not a huge fan of SW sets but I am sure some of these will be great. I just hope the Slave 1 isn't like Jango's $49.99 over-priced monster.

And just think, this is just the spring sets. 2006 is the LEGO SW push year. I think we will get even more in Autumn. :oD

Well, I've given you my thoughts on that. Something to think about, I hope.

The Eurobricks mention remains, as there isn't really any ill-will from there to here. FBTB is a different place from Eurobricks, with a generally younger crowd; the rules over there have mostly come from bitter experience in the past. And it doesn't suit everyone, and that's fine, but it upsets me to see such vitriol against the place.

Ian, we don't have anything against FBTB'rs in general - it's the amount of control that's kind of unsettling. No leaks, no off-topic threads, no deals that don't include Star Wars LEGO, etc. A happy community is a free community. Most of the people in that thread that just got locked seem pretty excited about it. Besides, there are two sources confirming this, so this is a sturdy rumor.

V-Wing is the the one flying over the proto Star Destroyer in the end, (in wich Darth and Emperor is)
