The new Slave 1 looks good and im looking forward to seeing what they have done to the bottom of the ship, but im very disappointed with the ig-88 and Dengar figs.

The ninja mask that they have used just seems like a complete let down to me and as for Ig well he just dosent look right at all, the guard is however quite good and the boba is as expected.

After all what we are doing for TLC (a fantastic publicity on upcomming sets, ideas on future products, constructive criticisms...), our always growing community, strong of 466 members as of now, suffers drastically from the absence of help of TLC (and I will not even enter into the event non visiting factory "incident"). It is good to know that you can leak information like Rebelscum and still get some help by tLC >-| , but in that case, do not be called Eurobricks.

I don't think it was leaked though. Starwars.com posted the news which means that it is okay to share the pictures and some info with anyone now.

Besides, it will get far more traffic on SW.com and rebelscum.com than it will here. LEGO must get the best advertising that they can.

I think I'll also get this but don't really like the rounded bricks. A beefed up version of the original ship would have been great. Anyway, I think the guard is the best minifig in this set. Its torso is nice.

I just compared the two of them closely, and for the most part, I can change the colour scheme of Boba's to Jango's using the dark blue, black, and white parts from the old one.

I'm seriously considering buying two of these and redoing one of them with the colours and parts from Jango's version. Bricklink can supply me with the rest of the parts!

I agree - must have one for my collection and one to do a little MOCing on............ a shame that they haven't changed the Boba Fett minifig. (Getting to have quite a few of him). - "could make an army of Boba Fetts - or not :| )

An Anakin Skywalker, two tactical operations Clone Troopers and a generic Jedi minifig accompany the set. The set is believed to contain 201 pieces and will cost $19.99. At this stage the set is purely a rumour and LEGO have been contacted for a statement.

2) Coming from SW'w website: "There is also a new shooting function that has been built into the top of the ship just behind the cockpit which can be accessed via two doors that open and close."

What is that a shooting function ??? Don't tell me TLC have put a modern catapult in it ??? Arghhhhhhhh *sing*

If this Slave I has machine guns in it's 'belly' like Jango's had, Han would probably fit in. I never checked that with mine, really |-/ .

Well if you look carefully, you can see that the part right behind the cockpit has hinges so that it can open up. Below it on the side, there's a Bionicle piece that can be moved to make the missile fire out of the doors on the top. When it's flying it means that the missile shoots forward instead of upwards.

i pray that this boba is the cloud city version, i mean why not, its more movie acurate, and i dont have the cloud city set.. yet lol

great design, a little more acurate then JFS1, but im trying to figure out what is goin on at the bottom of the entrance ramp lol, theres a gap where it looks like it should move or something, up or down

hey look on the wings there are a few new bits :oo eg. in jangos those things that fold in over the technic stuff that hold the wings in place but on bobas look they are useing the new mechanism but on the half bits well it is quite hard to explain just look where i said you'll see what i mean :$ i hope. *satis*
