xwingyoda Posted September 2, 2005 Posted September 2, 2005 there is a astromech droid look where sam said :oo behind the clone wicked ;) Well technically there is only a "head" *devil* Where is the body Mister TLC ?????? Especially with a great color like that !!!! This is a nice little set like I said previously !!!! An important question though: do the wings turn ??? Seeing all the attachments to the body and where the guns are, I really doubt it. Also its too bad to have a "regular" pilot !!! Was hoping for a cool new MF !!! Like a black clone pilot !!! Hey, this baby is the Tie ancester so where is the black pilot ????? Quote
sam89 Posted September 2, 2005 Author Posted September 2, 2005 Ace said on FBTB that the wings do turn. Quote
Kikuichimonji Posted September 2, 2005 Posted September 2, 2005 This looks very good for 10 bucks... Quote

Renegade Clone Posted September 2, 2005 Posted September 2, 2005 I'll need to buy four of them. I need two pilots for the republic gunship (frees up 2 clones!) and I need to put the dark red droid as R4-P17 in the epII jedi starfighter! The other two can escort the ARC-170. :) Quote

snefroe Posted September 2, 2005 Posted September 2, 2005 only sorry for the canopy. i think you have to take it off by hand to get to the cockpit, nice set tho Quote
LegoBMW Posted September 3, 2005 Posted September 3, 2005 Wow, nice set. Love the pilot clone! ;) The 10 dollar price tag makes it very appealing! :-D How many peices does anyone think it has. Quote
languages Posted September 3, 2005 Posted September 3, 2005 Ive been after that canopy for a long time..... Quote
languages Posted September 3, 2005 Posted September 3, 2005 I hope this is available in Europe....(fingsers crossed) Quote
Legoman Posted September 3, 2005 Posted September 3, 2005 can't wait that long :'( help me p.s i live in New Zealand lol :-D Quote
xwingyoda Posted September 3, 2005 Posted September 3, 2005 Its a fantastic set for 10$ :oD It has a clone pilot, the droid "head", nice designed movable wings, and a nice overall design !!!! However, due to its small price there are a lot of defaults !!! * the gap underneath the cokpit * the really too thin nose * lack of parts underneath the ship * those inverted parts undearneath Can't wait to get e couple of those babies ;) Quote
jonfett Posted September 3, 2005 Posted September 3, 2005 Thanks for the news legoman, I have put this on the front page. The set seems a little expensive for what you get: ARC, Tri-fighter and mini.. so hopefully the CD makes up for the price. Jon. Quote
HJR-Holland Posted September 3, 2005 Posted September 3, 2005 I find it such a pity that LEGO doesn't put something 'new' into a set like this; i mean, I'm crazy enough to buy this set if there was some 'new' minifig in it, or a vehicle in a different colour. It's the same with the soon-to-be-launched ultimate space battle set; had they replaced Anakin's fighter with a purple or a green one (Shaak Tii or Mace Windu), I would have bought it; now I'm not sure... DoubleT Posted September 3, 2005 Posted September 3, 2005 Its Funny how Lego still use open ships.... Ships where the pilot is open for the vacum of space... *twisted* Quote

KimT Posted September 5, 2005 Posted September 5, 2005 Well I'm definately going to have this set, since I have to get them all (SW). I think it's cool thought of LEGO to combine sets and make collector sets - they ought to add new sets - but they don't. They could at least add a special minifig or something - not a cd... But it'll do :) KimT Quote
