Graynar Posted October 29, 2005 Posted October 29, 2005 Well I bet a desert skiff will be included. Just like the movie, though there were 2. I don't think Jabba's gonna be in this set. He's too big for a set of this size. Ah, we'll just have to wait until the pictures come out. Hopefully soon, Graynar Quote
The Middleman Posted October 30, 2005 Posted October 30, 2005 There definitely will be a Jabba. Confirmed: circa 780 pieces. Cost - less definite - $85-$90. Quote

DoubleT Posted October 31, 2005 Posted October 31, 2005 Well Bj.. No official Newsletter, Pressrealese, email etc. have confirmed what you wrote.. Quote
Vader Posted October 31, 2005 Posted October 31, 2005 Yes and reporting things that you have heard from an unoffical source as confirmed information is not a good idea. Quote
snefroe Posted October 31, 2005 Posted October 31, 2005 If it's got 800 pieces like Bloody Jay said it'll probably cost around $90. Yeah, the price point will be somewhere in the vicinity of $80-$100. I'll try to confirm this. Jay I really hope you are wrong about this ;) Really, 800 pieces is really short to have a great model !!!! The Sarlacc should be at least like 50 pieces to be good (without even mentioning the pit he lives in). The set is going to be tiny !!!!! Its really weird, I was guessing the number of pieces to be a little less than the Crawler but a lot more than 800 !!!! Oh well, this needs confirmation but I do hope for it to be a great model !!!! well i guess it depends on how many small detailed parts are involved. 780 doesn't sound that bad at all... sure, i'd like to see a 1500 piece barge as well, but the price would be quite high also... i guess the sarlacc will have 50 pieces, including very small connectors,... in fact, i'd be surprised if it's only 50 pieces. The Middleman Posted October 31, 2005 Posted October 31, 2005 If they construct it using large plates (think Star Destroyer) with some details on the top deck only, I don't think it'll be small at all. My guess is that it'll be at least as long as the Sandcrawler. Still, you guys could be right; we'll see. @ TT - It's confirmed. End of dicussion. Quote
Vader Posted October 31, 2005 Posted October 31, 2005 Jay until its confirmed by lego its not confirmed at all. Quote
The Middleman Posted October 31, 2005 Posted October 31, 2005 Guys, if you have a problem with it, contact me on MSN. Until that time, I'm sure there are people (like me) that would like to discuss the Sail Barge in the Sail Barge topic. Let's not clutter up the topic. Quote
DoubleT Posted October 31, 2005 Posted October 31, 2005 Ehh BJ...we where giving you hints... But any way Im looking forward to see the Sailbarge and what it brings..... Hope some new Minifis and great detail.. Quote
Vader Posted October 31, 2005 Posted October 31, 2005 Yes i would love aload of new figs, but i doubt if we will get more than 2 new figs....hmmm i wonder if a jawa will be included. Quote
The Middleman Posted October 31, 2005 Posted October 31, 2005 Well, technically three figs will be 'new,' since it'll be the first flesh Han other than the parka gear in the new MF. Here's to hoping Jabba will be painted! No Jawa, though, although I wish there were. Quote
Yuppley Posted November 3, 2005 Posted November 3, 2005 Hope that the deck gun is detailed and that R2 isn't just R2 with some greeblies but a REAL bartender lol Quote
xwingyoda Posted November 3, 2005 Posted November 3, 2005 Hope that the deck gun is detailed and that R2 isn't just R2 with some greeblies but a REAL bartender lol No need TLC to provide that ;) Just ad a round part with glasses on R2's "head"...and voil Quote

Vader Posted November 3, 2005 Posted November 3, 2005 Theres not really any other way that lego could do R2 with the drinks tray, mind you i think it looks good that way and there really wouldnt be any sense in them doing anything different. Quote
MattZitron Posted November 3, 2005 Posted November 3, 2005 See if TLC did what Yoda did, but the round bit could be gold. Then I'd be happy. That'd be movie correct! Quote
Vader Posted November 3, 2005 Posted November 3, 2005 Yes gold would look good but i bet lego will just make it a regular lego bit. :( Quote
Legoman Posted November 3, 2005 Posted November 3, 2005 Yes gold would look good but i bet lego will just make it a regular lego bit. :( i think it might be tan :) Quote
Rivets Posted November 4, 2005 Posted November 4, 2005 Baronsat already used a tan round plate on R2's head for his SB.., I think the plate should have some connections to R2's legs, but this is hard if not impossible to pull off. Quote
Vader Posted November 7, 2005 Posted November 7, 2005 I hope lego took notice of Baron Sat's sailbarge, god i would love a version like the one he made. Quote
Rivets Posted November 7, 2005 Posted November 7, 2005 I'd also like a vehicle comparable to the one he made. Especially on the colour side. Like his Sail Barge it should come in the old greys, oh well.., my 'junk box' of new colours is almost filled to the brim now.. Quote
Vader Posted November 7, 2005 Posted November 7, 2005 I doubt it will be in the old grey as lego seems to be phasing them out which is a shame as i dont like the new grey all that much and it dosent really match the colour of the ship. Quote
