A pit would be good but like i said before i would hope that its just a sailbarge what with the piece count being at 700.

Using plate construction, I think even with the pit it'll be good-sized.

Also, add to the Sarlac a Bush Lando and a Peach Luke and I'll be more than happy :oD

I wouldn't mind a new Gamorian Guard or two, especially if they were nicely painted (fat chance). But yeah, ideally I'd wish for a new Lando, some other aliens, and a Salacious Crumb.

I also think it's inevitable we'll get another R2, as he's crucial to recreate the main action scene in the movie.

I missed out on the Bib Fortuna set, thus I wouldn't mind having him in this set ;) I think he would be a sensible choice to include, even if I had him.

Salacious Crumb would well cool. But is it likely? I know expensive sets are prone to producing unqiue figs (like the printed Boba, Lando etc, Mace, Uncle Owen etc) but how well know is Salacious Crumb, honestly? Saying that, it shouldn't be too hard to modify a Gungan minifig, should it?

If price was a issue here and LEGO said, we can do either Salacious Crumb OR a Sarlac, bit not both, I'd definately say Sarlac.

Yeah, I think R2 and C-3PO will be there - easy and relevent. And why not? I think keep out Bib Fortua and the Gammorean guard - keep them for their unique sets. But lets have a new Lando and a Boba.

Oh, and can R2 come with a special Lightsaber launching mechanism????

Well we never thought we would see light up lightsabres on figs so we may one day get a r2 with lightsabre.

Well lego could just use the body of a monkey fig for that of Salacious Crumb and then resculpt the head.

I think the creator acpin did a great job and i think most people would be able to make there own based on his design.

I like this list, and I think it sounds about right judging on how Lego tends not to create too many new figs for a new set.

I would agree that we may see a new Lando and if so, possibly another skiff guard and Luke/Han.

If they do a new lando i wonder if the face mask will be printed on the face our would lego make it so that its joined to the helmet...hmmmmm

what is the comparison between these crumb is like one peice new figure(hopefully) and the sarlac is a large creature by saying lego would have to chose you are crushing my dreams

Probably a helmet they could use again with the fangs of the mask printed on his face.

Yeah, I wouldn't be surprised if they re-used the Ninja helmet. It's fairly close in shape.

Of course I would much rather them mold a new one.... along with some of those Imperial helmets with the neck guards (like the AT-ST drivers wear).

Unfortunately, your probably right. Afterall, its not like Lando's helmet would get alot of use (by LEGO that is) outside of this set (and possibly a remake of Jabba's Palace). On the other hand, we did get a Bib Fortuna headpiece. Who would have expected that?

And as for the Sarlac Pit. I'd prefer it be included in another set. I want the Sailbarge to be as big as possible!

As both the Bib fortuna headpiece and the Gamorrean Guard headpiece were both produced for $6 sets, I would assume that they are meant to be used again in the Sailbarge, it makes no sense if they were only to be used in cheap sets once.

Not necessarily true. Afterall, Princess Leia's 'bun' hairpiece is only available with the Millenium Falcon (either version). Hardly a common piece. Either version (old or new brown) is only available in a $99+ set. Similarly, there is nothing to suggest that LEGO had any plans for producing the sailbarge when they first manufactured Bib Fortuna's headpiece.

I'm not saying that I expect Lando to get his helmet; I'm just suggesting that it remains a possibility. The Star Wars and Harry Potter lines seem to get alot of unique elements, even if they aren't used frequently.

Seeing how lego had to make a headpiece for both Gam Guard and Bib im surprised they havent found ways to give us more sets with them in before now.
