Vader Posted November 19, 2004 Posted November 19, 2004 I think we will but not for a while, probably in 06 once theyve done lots of ep3 sets. Quote
Jipay Posted November 20, 2004 Posted November 20, 2004 Well who knows ? This TIE set could be the interceptor 8-| Quote
jonfett Posted November 20, 2004 Posted November 20, 2004 Perhaps we will get Tie Collection II, which comes with 1 normal tie, 2 darth vaders tie and an interceptor! ;) Jon. Quote
ApophisV Posted November 20, 2004 Posted November 20, 2004 I think we will get the TIE Collection II as a S@H SPECIAL EXCLUSIVE, including 12 TIE Advanced from 10131, 1 normal TIE, 13 Lukes in Rebel suit to controle the TIEs, 44 Jar-Jars, and ONE completely new 1x1 tile with imperial printing.... (Note that there won't be a second extra....) This till will ONLY come in this set! Oh, the price for the collection will be 699,95 $ or 999.999,99 Quote
Jipay Posted November 20, 2004 Posted November 20, 2004 I think you forget a 9 for the price :-D Quote

Orlego Posted November 22, 2004 Posted November 22, 2004 LEGO..... PLEASE..... NO MORE DAMN TIE FIGHTERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Really, I love Tie's, I'm just sick of the same sets slightly modified and released as new sets. The tie collection is just stupid. It features only one true new tie. WHY CAN"T I JUST BY THE NEW TIE??? And also, why release a new falcon and snowspeeder? We had these sets before (just a different design/color). There is a few things that we really want before the license expires (Sandcrawler & Jabba's Sail Barge) I love the SW Lego line and my ($6,000+ US) collection proves that, but 2004 has been a bad year. I know it was a bi-year because there was no movie, but give us items we have not had the chance to collect yet. Quote
Jipay Posted November 22, 2004 Posted November 22, 2004 WHY CAN"T I JUST BY THE NEW TIE??? And also, why release a new falcon and snowspeeder? They release sets that new arrivant in the SW lego hobby haven't had the occasion to buy before Quote
Orlego Posted November 22, 2004 Posted November 22, 2004 Damn the newbies I say, damn them.... and my checkbook! |-/ Quote
Vader Posted November 25, 2004 Posted November 25, 2004 Yeah damn the newbies, but to be honest im glad that they gave us a new falcon because when it first came out i was broke and didnt get one, so its nice for people that were in the same boat as me. Quote
Precious Jazz Posted November 25, 2004 Posted November 25, 2004 I only saw the original Falcon once in Australia and didn't buy it so I'm glad Lego remade it too. Quote
Jipay Posted November 26, 2004 Posted November 26, 2004 I only saw the original Falcon once in Australia and didn't buy it so I'm glad Lego remade it too. Same here :-D And the actual black market original falcon is up to 400$. You could buy an isd instead :| Quote

Same here :-D And the actual black market original falcon is up to 400$. You could buy an isd instead :| Too funny! |-D When the Falcon was released I saw one in Scotland, decided not to buy it, but at my secons visit to the town there was one left, and I decided to take it. A wise choice it was, as I never EVER saw it afterwards in Holland, Belgium, France and Germany... I guess I'm not the only one having problems finding it then :) Quote
Vader Posted November 30, 2004 Posted November 30, 2004 I only ever saw 1 in my toys r us but i didnt buy it at the time and of course when i went back it had gone, in the end i got my hands on a copy of its instructions and just built my own. It worked out alot cheaper and i didnt mind customizing it so much. :) Quote
Orlego Posted December 3, 2004 Posted December 3, 2004 I also waited here in the US to get mine because my money-to-bill ratio was not going well. We had it everywhere, except when I had the money to purchase it, it had been discontinued. I found 1 at an F.A.O. that was "on sale" at $99.99 US from reg $149.99. I hate FAO. Quote
Vader Posted December 3, 2004 Posted December 3, 2004 The first time i saw it i nearly fainted, it wasnt the set but rather the price i was shocked to say the least. Quote
sam89 Posted December 12, 2004 Author Posted December 12, 2004 Rebelscum have posted a list of what Star Wars sets we should be getting in 2005. There will be 13 Star wars sets in 2005: - 2 in January (these will be the Jedi Starfighter and Vulture Droid set, and the TIE Fighter set) - 9 in April (Episode III sets) - 2 in autumn (Both Old Trilogy Sets) Quote

David85 Posted December 12, 2004 Posted December 12, 2004 They could always have more than two. They usually have a big Star Wars set in the fall that is an exclusive and they don't talk about. Quote

The exclusive is more likely to be a UCS though. The sets coming out in Autumn are going to be System scale. I'm really hoping for a Sandcrawler or a Sailbarge, but I doubt we'll get both at the same time, since they would probably both be quite expensive. Quote
DoubleT Posted December 12, 2004 Posted December 12, 2004 Well since 2000, there have an spring suprise set (Falcon AT-AT), and an supise autum set (Cloud City and the big 10131 suprise ;) ) Quote
David85 Posted December 12, 2004 Posted December 12, 2004 Well what I'm saying is we could always get a Hoth playset. :-) And yes the big surprise. It wasn't a surprise at all, just a very people were not too smart and didn't believe it. Quote
