Jipay Posted July 21, 2004 Posted July 21, 2004 Well I'm curius to see what this game could look like. I have many gaming machines so I hope it'll be good (reminder : thinking about stealing clecle's game cube) But is this game a totaly sneak preview ? We've already seen pics of the game on many websites... I still bet on the Y-Wing :P Quote
sam89 Posted July 21, 2004 Author Posted July 21, 2004 Lets hope so . . . B) Another idea on FBTB is that since the Lego magazine said 'the new Falcon coming next August" it means a UCS Falcon. We can dream can't we? ;) Quote
sam89 Posted July 21, 2004 Author Posted July 21, 2004 Here's a picture of the Obiwan from the Star Wars game As you can see he is now in skin tone, unlike the last picture we saw. Quote
Precious Jazz Posted July 22, 2004 Posted July 22, 2004 Skin tone Obi doesn't look that bad. ~Ducks before PJ gets hit by a Lego Brick~ Quote
ApophisV Posted July 22, 2004 Posted July 22, 2004 yes, i'm slowly getting used to skin tones... ;) maybe i'll get a cheap spidey set the next time to see the flesh toned minifigs in reality... ;) oh, and sorry for being off-topic... :P Quote
Jipay Posted July 22, 2004 Posted July 22, 2004 topic ? Whatis the emaning of that word ? never heard about it :P Well I bought the F1 sets to see what skin tones look like and they're not that bad at all. In fact I like those more :< Quote
jonfett Posted July 22, 2004 Posted July 22, 2004 The new box looks quite good! Much better than the old style. And now we know for sure what 10131 will look like. I hope that some of the people at FBTB will be able to accept this now, but some will still say, "No, no it can't be... Tim said it wasn't" As for the new game, it looks fun from what I have seen and heard about it. The obi-wan looks cool and it kinda reminds me of something Greg would draw, but in 3d. Jon. Quote
Jipay Posted July 22, 2004 Posted July 22, 2004 Well you're right ! the 3d squeleton doesn't look static like it used to on other games. I justcan't wait to test this game  I hope it won't only cover episode 1 -_- Quote
jonfett Posted July 22, 2004 Posted July 22, 2004 The picture I saw was obi-wan and qui-gon with the battle doids and that picture of obi-wan is from episode 1. So it looks like it might be, but you never know, we have only seen a small preview of the game... Now where's that demo??? ^_^ Jon. Quote
Jipay Posted July 22, 2004 Posted July 22, 2004 If there's one we could ask lego to get it and put it on download on eurobricks Quote
Jipay Posted July 23, 2004 Posted July 23, 2004 As I posted on the frontpage 2005 will be the year of star wars LEGO. Starwars.com released the news of the new lego video game to come. This game will be playable by two players and will cover episodes 1, 2 and 3. They also gave the info that LEGO will release new Episode III sets in April ! That is to say before the movie itself (which is coming may 19th) It seems that we will get lego sets like for EpII : I went into the theater with lego sets to build wile watching the commercials before the movie :P Quote
DoubleT Posted July 23, 2004 Posted July 23, 2004 Im looking foward to the new set, hopeful we get an Generel Grevious minifig.. And the game sounds fun. Quote
sam89 Posted July 23, 2004 Author Posted July 23, 2004 Yes I can't wait for the Epsiode III sets. We can get the new Jedi Starfighter, a General Grevious minifig, a 'final battle' set with Obi-wan and Anakin fighting, and maybe even a Mace Windu minifig! I can't wait! :D It's a shame we probably wont find out about these sets until around January though :( Quote
sam89 Posted July 23, 2004 Author Posted July 23, 2004 Now that i think about it, I guess something new could still be displayed at Comic-Con, since it keeps going until Sunday, I think. Sometimes new things aren't announced on the first day. Let's hope so :D Quote
Jipay Posted July 23, 2004 Posted July 23, 2004 I bet a big amount of money on a new UCS set. By UCS I mean S@H exclusive :) Quote
ApophisV Posted July 23, 2004 Posted July 23, 2004 sam, thanks for the spoiler... :P i'll add an notice to the topic title... ;) nonetheless the fighter looks really cool.. :D Quote
ApophisV Posted July 23, 2004 Posted July 23, 2004 no!!!! i haven'ta credit card!!!! :( LEGO FOR STORES!!! LEGO FOR STORES!!! LEGO FOR STORES!!! Quote
ApophisV Posted July 23, 2004 Posted July 23, 2004 nope... i've got a banking card and i can pay with it in foreign countires (it was very useful when i was in france two yoears ago... ;)), but its not a credit card... here you only get a real credit card if you have at least a minimum regular amount of money every month... :( Quote
Jipay Posted July 23, 2004 Posted July 23, 2004 and banking card don't work over the internet ? Quote
ApophisV Posted July 23, 2004 Posted July 23, 2004 no idea, as far as i know, not... :( maybe i'll try to sign up at s@h.... Quote
sam89 Posted July 23, 2004 Author Posted July 23, 2004 I don't really know what the spoiler is  I thought EVERYONE knew that Obi-wan and Anakin fought? Quote
ApophisV Posted July 23, 2004 Posted July 23, 2004 hm, not necessarily... sorry, i hadn't wanted to be harsh... ;) and what i thought about wasn't the fight between thw two, there are some people out, that on't want to see new ships and so on.. ;) Quote
sam89 Posted July 23, 2004 Author Posted July 23, 2004 Comic-Con is still open until Sunday, and often things are announced later on into it. The main reason I think there must be something else to be shown is the wording: "And, be prepared for a totally exclusive LEGO Star Wars Quote
