This really p*sses me off, when you receive an order of parts but you cannot do anything with them becuase you are still waiting for some other parts first. But not all sellers are like this, once you find a good one keep on using them! ;) Jon. Quote
jonfett Posted December 21, 2004 Posted December 21, 2004 This set will be off the shelves so fast, I bet stores will have trouble updating the stock. Jon. Quote

Vader Posted December 21, 2004 Posted December 21, 2004 I think over here it will be as theres alot of little shops out there that order way to much. *satis* Quote
Jipay Posted December 21, 2004 Posted December 21, 2004 well the funny fact is that final duel is a great source for stormies and officers. I can't andertsand this :'( Quote
Vader Posted December 21, 2004 Posted December 21, 2004 Yeah they were great for getting stormies but the rest of the set was poor, its getting harder to find them now :( Quote
Wolf04 Posted December 21, 2004 Posted December 21, 2004 Darth Vader's Transformation - With the help of a medical droid, the Jedi Knight once known as Anakin Skywalker is transformed into the villainous Darth Vader, Dark Lord of the Sith. Includes Anakin Skywalker, Darth Vader and Medical Droid. ETA 04/05. Quote
ApophisV Posted December 21, 2004 Posted December 21, 2004 Huh, thanks for the info!!!! :oo Nice that the medical droid works with craftsman tools.... :D The droid itself looks good, but the rest of the set doesn't really satisfy me.... :/ Quote
sam89 Posted December 21, 2004 Author Posted December 21, 2004 I think it looks great for a storyteller. The scarred Anakin looks nice, and the medical droid looks great! The head under the normal Vader looks like the old grey one to me. So I'm proably going to get both of the sets we've seen so far. If they follow a pattern we should have the Tri-Fighter tomorrow. :) Quote
jonfett Posted December 21, 2004 Posted December 21, 2004 Hmm.. look at all the tools in the droids hands. Why would it need a screwdriver.. a wrench.. and a power drill to fix up Anakin?? I am pretty sure this droid is meant to be mending Anakin.. not drilling holes in his face! :D Jon. Quote
Vader Posted December 21, 2004 Posted December 21, 2004 Now thats a nice little set, the crispy anakin looks good and i really like the droid. Im sure their will be plenty of us out there that will take this set and make a bigger diorama. :) Quote

Well I don't want to spoil the movie for you so I will say in general, Anakin falls in something that if someone fell in real life, you wouldn't be able to survive, so by the time the Dark forces take him out, most of his body is gone. It is replaced with AI parts, so I guess the droid adds the arms with screwdrivers and things like that. It would be cool if the arms, legs and body were separate parts so then you could actually make the droid place the pieces :o And the set could have been more detailed, maybe with a control room and Palpatine because in the trailer, it was shown that Palpatine says to Darth Vader "Rise", so it would be cool if at the front, there would be a large throne with Palpatine in. Also, more details and tables would be nice. Quote

Wolf04 Posted December 21, 2004 Posted December 21, 2004 Also, why are the pictures such poor quality. They don't even look like they were made by LEGO, they look more like MOCs 8-| Quote

But then it would be a "mechanical droid" instead of a medical one.... :P MY guess is: TLC hadn't better parts that look like chirurgical tools (The 2x2 belville tile with doctor tools printing wouldn't fit in here..... :D :P) so they used those tools... jonfett Posted December 21, 2004 Posted December 21, 2004 Hmm... medical droid.. :P Just kidding Apo, I wouldn't want to copy your post! ;) Jon. Quote
Vader Posted December 21, 2004 Posted December 21, 2004 One thing that i would like lego to do is give us a vader with more print on his body (like the cloud city boba fett) a belt would look nice for starters. Quote
