Darth Drew Posted December 23, 2004 Posted December 23, 2004 I really like the wheel bike, but it is dwarfed in size compared to the lizard. The lizard looks way to big and too many colors. Didn't Lego say no more animals because they were too expensive to make? The lightsaber blades don't look that clear to me. Grevious is not in the bikes wheel ether like he should be. :/ Quote
Vader Posted December 23, 2004 Posted December 23, 2004 Perhaps he can be placed in the wheel but for the purpose of these shots he wasnt. Quote
DoubleT Posted December 23, 2004 Posted December 23, 2004 Well i find the wheel thing looks great........ and It's nice to see the new Obi..... We must remember that Its a toy, made out of Bricks, not all is possible. The Small Pic of Grevious? Well In the Clone Was Cartoon, he was tall and thin, and he looks like the same here, of cause i will wait for my final judegement to a better pic... But I like it ;) (And Atleast the General aint a minifig like Selbulba) Quote
Vader Posted December 23, 2004 Posted December 23, 2004 Its a better set than i thought it would be and i like the 2 tone colour bogar :) Quote
DoubleT Posted December 23, 2004 Posted December 23, 2004 Its a better set than i thought it would be and i like the 2 tone colour bogar :) Bogar? There is no reson to say something rude here ;) |-D Quote
sam89 Posted December 23, 2004 Author Posted December 23, 2004 I think the reason the Bogar looks weird (at least to me) is because it looks weird in the film. I've heard that it is a strange looking creature, but I would have prefered it if they'd kept him all dark green. The Wheel Bike's great though! :-D Quote
Vader Posted December 23, 2004 Posted December 23, 2004 Overall i think its a nice set but i just wish we could see a better pic of grevious :( Quote

Vader Posted December 23, 2004 Posted December 23, 2004 Looking at the greivous fig it looks like the arms are that of a battle droid turned on to there sides and then attached to the body. Quote
sam89 Posted December 23, 2004 Author Posted December 23, 2004 I'm not sure, they don't look like them to me, they seem like they can go down at an angle. If only we had bigger pics Quote
Vader Posted December 23, 2004 Posted December 23, 2004 Ive tried to clear the pic up abit on photoshop but it still isnt very clear :( Quote
ApophisV Posted December 23, 2004 Posted December 23, 2004 >-| Not really satisfying..... I'm not able to see the general's legs..... Ugly creature (colors...) Wheel bike.... hm... no idea... Looking a bit bioniclish I'll better judge this after seing clear pics..... Quote
The Dark Brick X Posted December 23, 2004 Posted December 23, 2004 I don't like the Bogar, but I do like the Wheel Bike. A few notes about Grievous: -He's wearing a purple-colored cape -"Looking at the grievous fig it looks like the arms are that of a battle droid turned on to there sides and then attached to the body. " I'm pretty sure Lego wouldn't do that, maybe the body's a special mold to attach the battle droid arms to?(I don't even think they're battle droid arms) -these lightsabers don't look like light up lightsabers Quote
Vader Posted December 23, 2004 Posted December 23, 2004 I believe the legs are slightly modified well at least the feet are as we can see the souls of them are different. Anyone else notice that greivous looks like hes turned to one side whilst still being sat down??? Quote
sam89 Posted December 23, 2004 Author Posted December 23, 2004 -these lightsabers don't look like light up lightsabers Well Rebelscum's list said that they weren't light-up in this set. Anyone else notice that greivous looks like hes turned to one side whilst still being sat down??? I'm not sure, I think he's still facing the front, although his head might be turned slightly to the left. Quote
sam89 Posted December 23, 2004 Author Posted December 23, 2004 He's wearing a purple-colored cape Good spot, I hadn't noticed that :) Quote
Vader Posted December 23, 2004 Posted December 23, 2004 Well heres a few more pics Lets hope lego makes one of these in the near future ;) Quote
Darth Drew Posted December 23, 2004 Posted December 23, 2004 Lego probably changed the lightsaber hilt color so that they would match the light up version. Quote
ImperialJohn Posted December 23, 2004 Posted December 23, 2004 To me it looks like a big rip of. Like 4501 :'( Lots of big special pieces. And if you look at the creature the legs are not the same color in the two pictures 8-| Quote
ApophisV Posted December 23, 2004 Posted December 23, 2004 And if you look at the creature the legs are not the same color in the two pictures 8-| I think this might result from the fact that the box design pictures are always brighter than the pictures below them.... Quote
ApophisV Posted December 23, 2004 Posted December 23, 2004 About the creature: I really don't like the 90 Quote
sam89 Posted December 23, 2004 Author Posted December 23, 2004 Thats what I thought, but I think it's supposed to look like a lizard, and lizard's feet go out sidewas like that. Quote
jindroush Posted December 23, 2004 Posted December 23, 2004 Hm, from what I see the Grievous consists of: 4x white http://www.peeron.com/inv/parts/30377 for hands 1x white http://www.peeron.com/inv/parts/30376 for legs 1x white head (new mold) 1x white body (new mold) 1x purple cape 4x mdstone http://www.peeron.com/inv/parts/577 sabre hilt 2x trmdblue http://www.peeron.com/inv/parts/30374 2x trneongreen http://www.peeron.com/inv/parts/30374 Regarding the new special pieces: legs of Grievous gadget, feet of the monster, head of the monster, Grievous head, Grievous body is not bad in my eyes. EDIT: I was a bit wrong, legs of Grievous gadget are also old, it's part http://www.peeron.com/inv/parts/x240 Quote
sam89 Posted December 23, 2004 Author Posted December 23, 2004 Thanks for that jindroush. Although I think the legs of the monster are old, and came with the Dewback. Quote
