DoubleT Posted January 4, 2005 Posted January 4, 2005 Yes, like the Jedi Starfighter came out in feb when the Episoe II sets came out.. Quote
Sarg_Kulo Posted January 4, 2005 Posted January 4, 2005 I think I'll get a few of these... before ROTS. *Posible Ep. 3 Spoiler* X:D Is it true that only Anakins fighter is this colour? Cuz that sucks if it is. I probably won't but a few if that's the case. X:D Quote
ApophisV Posted January 4, 2005 Posted January 4, 2005 Lol, maybe he does some varnishing in his free time?!? :D That would explain why all those vehicles in the OT are grey: Ani hasn't any time to varnish anymore... ;) Quote
Jipay Posted January 4, 2005 Posted January 4, 2005 I think it doesn't matter that much. A lot of the pieces are easely replaceable Quote
DoubleT Posted January 5, 2005 Posted January 5, 2005 Well ofcause the evil empire is grey and simple, its evil thats why ;) They choosed the most boring color ;) Quote
Sarg_Kulo Posted January 5, 2005 Posted January 5, 2005 Are those pieces available in dark red/bergandy? Quote
OOM-30 Posted January 5, 2005 Posted January 5, 2005 From Rebelscum: LEGO has confirmed with Rebelscum that they have 13 new sets coming out in 2005; 2 in February, 9 in April and 2 in Autumn (launch date TBC). All of the April sets are ROTS, while the remaining 4 are Classic. Staying true to form, LEGO are keeping the exact contents of these sets close to their chest - but you can check out the related stories link for a previously leaked list. One of the 2 in Feb. is RotS so, the next sets would be the 2 in probably august. Now since some leaked pics for other Lego lines in Summer/Fall, hopefully the star wars ones will be soon. What do you think they will be? I hope they are either a Tie interceptor, Jabbas Sailbarge, a Sandcrawler, or maybe a UCS moncal crusier, awing, or bwing. Quote
Jipay Posted January 5, 2005 Posted January 5, 2005 I hope it won't be some megablock at 300 dollars :| Beside this I would be happy with almost everything. this year Lego is killing me. I mean so many great sets to buy ! Quote
jonfett Posted January 5, 2005 Posted January 5, 2005 ..while the remaining 4 are Classic. ..... I hope they are either a Tie interceptor, Jabbas Sailbarge, a Sandcrawler, or maybe a UCS moncal crusier, awing, or bwing. We already know that one of the classics is a(NOTHER) tie re-release :| but it comes with a Vader with light-up saber. But I would definately like to see the Sailbarge and sandcrawler to be 2 of the others! Jon. Quote
Sarg_Kulo Posted January 5, 2005 Posted January 5, 2005 Any hint at all about the price? Then at least we have a clue *wacko* I hope it's a sailbarge but I greatly doubt it |-/ Quote
CSDB Posted January 5, 2005 Posted January 5, 2005 Jopefully it's something good ebcause the ST3 sets don't look that great. Quote
The Middleman Posted January 6, 2005 Posted January 6, 2005 Agreed - I'll be purchasing the ARC-170, and that's it. City, Designer, Vikings, and (possibly) Adventurers will be eating up my money anyway. Quote
Orlego Posted January 6, 2005 Posted January 6, 2005 I will buy all of the SW sets because I'm a sucker, but at least most are small cheap sets. I will have more to spend on all the other great sets. Quote
Vader Posted January 6, 2005 Posted January 6, 2005 Ill buy most of them as i think there great and maybe a few extra turbo tanks :) Quote
Orlego Posted January 6, 2005 Posted January 6, 2005 I know one good little minifig in my family that will receive a ton of gifts this year from a certain toy company. ;) Quote
Vader Posted January 7, 2005 Posted January 7, 2005 I think ill have to send a letter to all the members of my family telling them that all Birthdays/Easter/Christmas have been cancelled this year. :-D ;) Quote
Ras 74 Posted January 7, 2005 Posted January 7, 2005 DoubleT stop that bad languege... There are children at those boards as well... Quote
Orlego Posted January 7, 2005 Posted January 7, 2005 lol I hope you dont mean Playmobil lol Ha Ha Ha.... Yeah.... How did you know? 8-| ;) Quote
Orlego Posted January 7, 2005 Posted January 7, 2005 He he he sorry, and i just did ;) LOL! We do, however, have a very, very nice Playmobile store at the Florida Mall here in Orlando US. Quote
DoubleT Posted January 7, 2005 Posted January 7, 2005 Well must admit I gad some sets when i was small :) my niece and nephew got them now :) Quote
tiberian Posted January 7, 2005 Posted January 7, 2005 My two cents: 7250 - 9/10, best of the bunch. Would look nice next to an AT-AT. 7251 - bleh. 7252 - Ugly (note the capital "U"). 7255 - bleh; lots of premolds. 7256 - 8/10; I like Ani's fighter; that droid thing gets a bleh. 7257 - bleh. 7258 - looks like a Star Wars version of a Designer Insect Pack. 7259 - 7/10; cross between X-wing and RGS, and not as good as either. 7260 - 7/10 - as mentioned previously I too like the fact that the catamaran in built not premolded but overall the set is not very impressive. 7261 - 7/10; big but ugly. These guys should get style tips from the Mtron folks. Overall, and especially compared to classic star wars designs, these are lacking aesthetically, although more than likely that has to do with Lucas and not Lego. Quote
