jonfett Posted January 15, 2005 Posted January 15, 2005 Thanks for the pics Sam! I like the cockpit mechanism on the Starfighter and the vulture driod looks like it does the same as the droid fighter, but the wings also fold inwards. Too bad we can't see Anakin on the pic, but we have already seen him anyway. It looks really cool and I can't wait to get it! Jon. Quote
Ruki The Ko-Matoran Posted January 15, 2005 Posted January 15, 2005 Oh are those the minifigs that when you push their heads down they light saber glows? Awsome! *satis* Quote
The Middleman Posted January 15, 2005 Posted January 15, 2005 Hm, it looks better than I first thought - I might have to pick this up! Quote
sam89 Posted January 15, 2005 Author Posted January 15, 2005 Here's a picture of the Anakin minifig from the set, on Ebay. Quote

Darth Drew Posted January 15, 2005 Posted January 15, 2005 The second picture makes it look very similar to the snowspeeder in shape. Quote
sam89 Posted January 15, 2005 Author Posted January 15, 2005 Here's some more pics, from Rebelscum: http://www.rebelscum.com/article.asp?i=88883 Quote
Vader Posted January 16, 2005 Posted January 16, 2005 The inside controls of the fighter looks good i like the way that theyve done the control stick :) Quote
Wolf04 Posted January 16, 2005 Posted January 16, 2005 Check out www.fbtb.net. On the front page, they have two pictures of the set. Front and back of box. Nothing special but the pictures are good quality. Quote
Vader Posted January 16, 2005 Posted January 16, 2005 There also on brickshelf, the more i see of the set the more impressed i am with it :) Quote

Brickmaster Posted January 16, 2005 Posted January 16, 2005 The Clone Turbo Tank, Wookiee Catamaran and ARC-170 Fighter are my favourites. They're all great models and have great minifigs :-D Those are my favorite sets too. I look foreward too all these 2005 sets! They are all so cool! Quote
jonfett Posted January 16, 2005 Posted January 16, 2005 It is only the Star wars ones which will have skin tones. The police one has a yellow head. Jon. Quote
Vader Posted January 16, 2005 Posted January 16, 2005 Im not a big fan of skin tone figs but the anakin one looks ok IMO :) Quote
Vader Posted January 16, 2005 Posted January 16, 2005 Its called a tri-fighter, its a sort of prequal to a tie-fighter Quote
jonfett Posted January 16, 2005 Posted January 16, 2005 I agree, his expression and the scars on his face look really good. It also looks very similar to the grey head under Vaders helmet, so we can see that how he has become Vader. Jon. Quote
Vader Posted January 16, 2005 Posted January 16, 2005 I wonder if they will use the same anakin head for the darth transformations set |-/ Quote
sam89 Posted January 16, 2005 Author Posted January 16, 2005 It looks like the Anakin in the DVT set has a big scar under his right eye, which this one doesn't have. Quote
