DoubleT Posted February 9, 2005 Posted February 9, 2005 It might have an auto pilot :-D ;) I found an Auto-Pilot ;) Quote
Vader Posted February 9, 2005 Posted February 9, 2005 lol, the lack of a pilot is a shame but the rest of the set more than makes up for it. Quote
Brickmaster Posted February 9, 2005 Posted February 9, 2005 ya, the rest of the set makes up for it, except the new bleys :| Quote
The Middleman Posted February 9, 2005 Posted February 9, 2005 ya, the rest of the set makes up for it, except the new bleys :| Hey, the more we get of them, the less reason there is to complain. I'm personally for LEGO shoving as much bley down our throats as they can, so we can get this out of the way as an issue. Quote
Vader Posted February 9, 2005 Posted February 9, 2005 Yeah i think its time to accept the colour change now, even if it does hurt :'( Quote
Brickmaster Posted February 9, 2005 Posted February 9, 2005 hey, that is right, if they wont change it again, more the better i say. i still liked the old grey color better though Quote
Precious Jazz Posted February 10, 2005 Posted February 10, 2005 I've regretted not picking up the original shuttle but after seeing this I'm glad I did. Lego has really seemed to step up in quality with the SW line this year. I noticed a lot of the minifigures have changed too. The Emperor now has grey skin, the stormtroopers now have printed legs, the Imperial guards seem to have trans-red visors and the Imperial Officers have new hats plus skin toned. Quote
-DJ- Posted February 10, 2005 Posted February 10, 2005 This is a great set, and it is available now in the US! The skin tone doesn't matter when compared to the great fig count, and the shuttle, which I never had bought. To top it off, it only costs $50. It puts many of the RotS sets to shame... Quote

I haven't noticed the new hats !!! Those are sooo cooool ! I already have a pilot, but I think they could have included one... And it would have been cool for you guys who missed the first one to get one... I'm really excited by this set ! :-D Quote

Jipay Posted February 10, 2005 Posted February 10, 2005 They look like cavalery ones in new color to me aswell. But they are way more accurate to the movie ones, so in both cases i'll be happy Quote
Jipay Posted February 10, 2005 Posted February 10, 2005 I just ordered mine on shop at home !!! It's available for canada :^D Quote
AT-AT Pilot Posted February 10, 2005 Posted February 10, 2005 OMG OMG OMG OMG :oo . I nearly had a heart attack when i saw this. I chocked on a piece of chocolate cake in mouth ( it was nasty ). I ALWAYS wanted this set soo badly. But now theres is a re-relese I AM OVA excited. All those figs in one set is a bargain. And for once they FINALLY gave the stormys a different gun ;) . I also have a HUGE question. Will this be coming out in stores or just on Lego.com. Cause if it is just on lego.com,...I'M DOOOOMED :'( . Quote
Jipay Posted February 10, 2005 Posted February 10, 2005 Since the serial number is 4 digits it will probably be released in store aswell. You won't get ducked this time :^^ Quote
Athos Posted February 10, 2005 Posted February 10, 2005 You won't get ducked this time Thats rather strong language for a lego board, don't you think? Not that I don't use it occasionally in realtime. Steve Quote
OOM-30 Posted February 10, 2005 Posted February 10, 2005 Well, it could have a pilot. When they were first announcing the new Tie w/lightup vader, they did not say it had a pilot. Quote
Jipay Posted February 10, 2005 Posted February 10, 2005 Well the description says 10 minifigs and there is no mention of a pilot :/ I still hope you are right though Quote
Aeturnus Posted February 10, 2005 Posted February 10, 2005 What a pleasant suprise.Great for set Emperial gaurds and storm troopers. I must get that set! Quote
Aeturnus Posted February 10, 2005 Posted February 10, 2005 Just one thing....Where is the pilot for the shuttle?maybe it has artificial intelligence? otherwise I still need that set! Quote
jonfett Posted February 10, 2005 Posted February 10, 2005 Is it just me or do the Imperial guards have dark markings near the top of their torso that weren't on the original versions? I think that the imperial guards have the same torso as the older one. Although it is not too clear from this picture, you can see some dark red lines on the torso, so maybe this is the same as on the new one. Jon. Quote
CopMike Posted February 10, 2005 Posted February 10, 2005 Lego rocks!!! *devil* This is what I want Lego to do: Bring us new sets from the movies and good remakes. Sure, the shuttle has to be on autopilot due to the lack of a pilot but those guys are cheap on BL. I Quote
Luigi Posted February 10, 2005 Posted February 10, 2005 hope it's actually a NEW set, and not just a combination of other sets. It is I think, the color of the Emperor skin is grey whereas it was just normal before. And I'm really glad of this set, even if i have already a shuttle... for all the reasons you said (stormies, gards) One more set to buy :'( *devil* Quote
Vader Posted February 10, 2005 Posted February 10, 2005 I dont mind getting a remake as long as its either greatly improved or has more added to it, the shuttle maybe the same but the rest of the set makes it a must have for me :) I like the new skin colour of the emperor but i think that it looks a little darker than it needed to be. Quote
Orlego Posted February 10, 2005 Posted February 10, 2005 I really like the redesigns (esp. the Falcon) but I wish they spent more time building sets that we have not had and leave the MOC work to us fans. Lego has many sets they could be making such as the sand crawler, sail barge, Hoth, Ewok Village etc. If I want a redesign of the B-wing I will make it myself. Quote
