Orlego Posted February 14, 2005 Posted February 14, 2005 Wow!! :oo I go away for a weekend and look what happens (again). I hope Mister X is correct again this time. The Sandcrawler and DeathStar are two of the three sets I have been waiting for, for a very long time now. Now we just need Jabba's Sail Barge and I can walk away a happy minifig. ;) BTW... Yes I know I should be happy with the Death Star and Sandcrawler sets and not ask for more, but I'm just like everyone else. The more they give us the more we want. :P ;) Quote
Vader Posted February 14, 2005 Posted February 14, 2005 Bloody Jay i think that it would be very unrelestic to hope for all those things with the sandcrawler set, i to would love to see that be the case but i would only expect to see around 5 figs plus say 4 droids at the most. A sail barge is something that i think alot of us hope to see Orlego, i do believe that we will get one before the sw license runs out. Quote
sam89 Posted February 14, 2005 Author Posted February 14, 2005 I agree with Vader316, I doubt we'll get 12 minifigs in the set AND a landspeeder and Lar's Homestead. We'll most likely get a Sandcrawler and the 5 minifigs we heard about before, although I hope there's a few more droids included inside. Quote
DoubleT Posted February 14, 2005 Posted February 14, 2005 Well there are 10 minifigs in the new shuttle set.. Quote
Darth Drew Posted February 14, 2005 Posted February 14, 2005 This set is going to be enormous. I am hoping for 5 jawas, but I know we won't get that many. Quote
andy0113 Posted February 14, 2005 Posted February 14, 2005 the worst part is that we're going to have to wait until *autumn* to get it! :( Quote
DoubleT Posted February 14, 2005 Posted February 14, 2005 Well it may be the "AT-AT" "Falcon" sets of the year, they came out in spring... Quote
Orlego Posted February 14, 2005 Posted February 14, 2005 With so many cool sets coming out this year, you will have to save until Autumn just to be able to afford everything. ;) Quote
dunamis Posted February 14, 2005 Posted February 14, 2005 How soon until we can see some pics? Anyone have know when these sets will be available? Quote
sam89 Posted February 14, 2005 Author Posted February 14, 2005 The sets will most likely be available in Autumn. The person who gave us the information said that he might try and get us pics soon, but he couldn't scan them at the moment. Quote
MattZitron Posted February 14, 2005 Posted February 14, 2005 The sets will most likely be available in Autumn. The person who gave us the information said that he might try and get us pics soon, but he couldn't scan them at the moment. Good old Mr.X. I WANNA SEE THE JAWAS!!! Quote
Vader Posted February 14, 2005 Posted February 14, 2005 Ah Mr X where would we be without you :-D A Autumn release would make sense as weve been lucky enough to have a large set for us to buy at that time of year for awhile now. Quote
theoryzero Posted February 14, 2005 Posted February 14, 2005 My inventory has been posted on Peeron.com http://www.peeron.com/inv/sets/7264-1 Quote
Jipay Posted February 14, 2005 Posted February 14, 2005 the numbers make sense since we were expecting two new UCS sets for the end of the year. I think those price are really high. the sets better be good :/ This year will be really hard for me to follow in term of finances. Too many good sets, too few money :( Quote
The Middleman Posted February 14, 2005 Posted February 14, 2005 How can a Sandcrawler be 1500 pieces, if not with some extras? Quote
The Middleman Posted February 14, 2005 Posted February 14, 2005 Obviously, but they can't make it THAT huge. That's like half the star destroyer! Quote
Jipay Posted February 14, 2005 Posted February 14, 2005 yeah but there is nothing inside of the stardestroyer :-D And the stardestroyer is using plates, not "normal' bricks Quote
ApophisV Posted February 14, 2005 Posted February 14, 2005 But bricks will take much more place than plates.... I think the crawler will be almost as high as the AT-AT, let's say as high as the AT-AT's head.... And I'm pretty sure they'll use the plate cover technicque they used for all those bigger things like the AT-AT, the AT-TE and also the new Turbo Tank... Quote
The Middleman Posted February 14, 2005 Posted February 14, 2005 And seriously, what are they REALLY going to put on the inside? There isn't much. Not $150 worth of stuff. Quote
ApophisV Posted February 14, 2005 Posted February 14, 2005 Oh, I could imagine many nice details in the inside... Many droids, trash parts and stuff.... Maybe a droid workshop! And some kind of control room Quote
MattZitron Posted February 14, 2005 Posted February 14, 2005 1500 pieces!!!!$150!!!!!!!! :oo $0.10 a piece!!! Quote
David85 Posted February 14, 2005 Posted February 14, 2005 1500 pieces!!!!$150!!!!!!!! :oo $0.10 a piece!!! For new brown pieces. There is nothing in it, I don't understand why its do big. Will it be the most expensive minifig set ever? Quote
sam89 Posted February 14, 2005 Author Posted February 14, 2005 Sorry about locking the other thread Jedijeff, it's just people might go in expecting to see pics of the finished set, and be disappointed to see the pic they've already seen. I hope you understand ;) Quote
