snefroe Posted February 15, 2005 Posted February 15, 2005 now you're talking about making room... do we have any idea on the size of the death star? for instance a diameter of half the star destroyer? Quote
Ras 74 Posted February 15, 2005 Posted February 15, 2005 Well I just happened to luck out and live in the only city in Florida USA that has a Lego store. I'm even luckier to work there. Thanks for that. I already knew :P :-D NO!!! DON'T ASK OR WE WILL MAKE YOU WAIT LONGER!!! *devil* :-D Quote
Orlego Posted February 15, 2005 Posted February 15, 2005 Most of my SW sets are stacked up in storage bins because I have no room to display them anymore. Quote
ApophisV Posted February 15, 2005 Posted February 15, 2005 hehe Apo... I bought the thing in Aachen... ;) You already bought it??? *wacko* It was still there four hours ago..... :/ Quote
Vader Posted February 15, 2005 Posted February 15, 2005 he he you turned your back for just a second there apophis and now its gone :-D :) Quote

ApophisV Posted February 15, 2005 Posted February 15, 2005 Duuuudes..... That was close.... huh... :P No, serious: I'd like more to see one of the three sets going to a real collector that knows the worth of the set instead of some silly mother buying it for her 4 year old boy's birthday... |-/ Quote
snefroe Posted February 15, 2005 Posted February 15, 2005 ah.... we're getting emotional, aren't we... Quote
MattZitron Posted February 15, 2005 Posted February 15, 2005 Sam are you in the UK?Where's that Lego store? The Lego Store is in Bluewater in Kent. Might as well be in the Gazza strip for me without a car. Quote
Vader Posted February 15, 2005 Posted February 15, 2005 Hey i ride a motorbike so i have to limit what i buy as it dosent look to good with lego boxes clinging on to the back of it :-D Quote
ApophisV Posted February 15, 2005 Posted February 15, 2005 If it's about bricks, we are.... ;) :') Quote
Vader Posted February 15, 2005 Posted February 15, 2005 Indeed when it comes to bricks emotion is a big part of collecting. :) Quote
MattZitron Posted February 15, 2005 Posted February 15, 2005 Indeed when it comes to bricks emotion is a big part of collecting. :) I wish I could afford an AT-TE or an AT-AT. :( :'( Quote
snefroe Posted February 15, 2005 Posted February 15, 2005 now to get back to our topic... i wonder how easy or difficult it is to manoeuvre this 10-wheeled tank. i used to built quite a few 8-wheeled tanks and they were always difficult to manoeuvre efficiently. the wheels in the middle obvouisly use a lego technic-style suspension (isn't that wierd in a minifig set?), but what about the other wheels? the last wheels seem to turn, probably to manoeuvre the thing into a direction, but what about those wheels in the front? and how, as a "player", do you "drive" this thing? i would have prefered rubber wheels instead of plastic, though... Oh well... I'll just use these plastics as "batteries" in my new spaceship... Quote
snefroe Posted February 15, 2005 Posted February 15, 2005 there was a brilliantly built sandcrawler in the brickshelf gallery somewhere if it resembles that one, than i'll be buying an entire fleet! well... in my dreams anyway... Quote
Vader Posted February 15, 2005 Posted February 15, 2005 Take your pick: http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/search.c...wler&stype=dfic Quote
Orlego Posted February 15, 2005 Posted February 15, 2005 and how, as a "player", do you "drive" this thing Well a true playa would drive this with the seat back a little and sporting a gangsta lean with some rap music pumping out da trunk. :P ;) Just like this guy but just imagine a steering wheel in his left hand... Especially if he had Lego boxes strapped to the back of it. Quote
