xwingyoda Posted March 27, 2005 Posted March 27, 2005 Sorry guys, I don't have a digital camera :$ :'( . Its sunday and I don't have a "normal" 35mm film. To tell you the truth, even if I did I wouldn't have the time to develop the film anyway (i leave to early in the morning and come back too late at night). I really love the wookie attack ship. the back blaster is multi directional - sweeeet :) The minifigs are great (anyway, I always liked those fur balls). I kind of like the spider droid, its bigger than I originally thought though. If you didn't like the picture, I'm not sure you will like the "live" version. Its head and blaster are also multi directional. I don't really like the tank: I think its too fragile due to the fact that the side blasters are attached to those round pieces that move to go in the pilot seat. Also the tracks really look good, but the whole thing does not move that well. side note on the trifighter: I like this ship but once again its kind of fragile because of the attachment system of the double half cockpit (not that well attached :'( ). The Middleman Posted March 27, 2005 Posted March 27, 2005 Damn, that's too bad. I'll still get them, though. Quote
xwingyoda Posted March 27, 2005 Posted March 27, 2005 Definitly, I don't regret it a second. For the fragality of those, I don't care because I'm not playing with them, so........ I still think Bloody Jay, that they will look excellent in your great diorama :) Quote
Sarg_Kulo Posted March 27, 2005 Posted March 27, 2005 That was kind of the point :-D Look at this way, I get paid 50p to keep fit ;) Quote
Sarg_Kulo Posted March 27, 2005 Posted March 27, 2005 I think appart from ice skaters they are the worst thing Lego have done. Quote
chewie Posted March 27, 2005 Posted March 27, 2005 i think those sets would be cool the links did not work for me either :( which sucks but lets hope these sets are real the would be cool sorry i think i posted in the wrong thing Quote
xwingyoda Posted March 27, 2005 Posted March 27, 2005 I do agree but look at the bright side: kids love Bionicle, TlC make a lot of money out of those, its financial situation is getting better (I hope, still no 2004 report) so its all good for us on the long run :) Quote
Sarg_Kulo Posted March 27, 2005 Posted March 27, 2005 Yeah I imagine that two. All the bigger sets with loads of ships and that in usually are. TIE collection, Battle Of Yavin Quote
Sarg_Kulo Posted March 27, 2005 Posted March 27, 2005 Yeah J definatly use them in your dioroma, as you can prob tell I really like it ;) Quote
xwingyoda Posted March 27, 2005 Posted March 27, 2005 and Imperial Inspection to a lesser level Quote
Sarg_Kulo Posted March 27, 2005 Posted March 27, 2005 Bionicle toothbrush? They completely sucked. Now a star wars lego one that would have been... actually they would have sucked aswell but not sucked as much :D Quote
Sarg_Kulo Posted March 27, 2005 Posted March 27, 2005 Imperial Inspection S@H exclusive? I didn't know that, o well that just means 3.50 more for bloody postage *devil* Quote
The Middleman Posted March 27, 2005 Posted March 27, 2005 You silly Brits with your weird mannerisms! :P Quote
xwingyoda Posted March 27, 2005 Posted March 27, 2005 Or you have TRU too, stupid bloody exclusivity sets *devil* I have the choice between: 1) driving more than an hour to have the sets as soon as TRU have them, or 2) paying for shipping Quote
The Middleman Posted March 27, 2005 Posted March 27, 2005 Yeah, I'll definitely use them (once I come up with a good plan). Anyone have a Bricklink shop around here? I need some green, blue, and tan baseplates, and LEGO can't give them to me. :-D Quote
The Middleman Posted March 27, 2005 Posted March 27, 2005 I got my Imperial Inspection at TRU. I live right near one, so it's no hassle to get down there. :-D Quote
Sarg_Kulo Posted March 27, 2005 Posted March 27, 2005 Quiet bus catching, 50p-less unfit fatty. :P OKay wats fifty p and ur probably not fat or unfit. But ur still a bus cather, nahh nahh :-D Quote
The Middleman Posted March 27, 2005 Posted March 27, 2005 I'm fine with BIONICLE as long as it keeps itself isolated. Let LEGO feed on the BIONICLE fanbase and spout out cool SYSTEM sets for use normal LEGO fans. I'm fine with that. Quote
xwingyoda Posted March 27, 2005 Posted March 27, 2005 and US TRU are much better than the ones near Paris, let me tell you Quote
The Middleman Posted March 27, 2005 Posted March 27, 2005 Actually, I walk/bike/get a caride to wherever I need to go. I don't like buses. ;) Quote
The Middleman Posted March 27, 2005 Posted March 27, 2005 Yeah, the ones in Paris are pretty bad in comparison, I went to one once. Quote
Sarg_Kulo Posted March 27, 2005 Posted March 27, 2005 My TRU seemed alright with Lego, these last few months tho they have been lacking. Anyway let's hope they get all the ROTS sets for April the second Quote
Sarg_Kulo Posted March 27, 2005 Posted March 27, 2005 Actually, I walk/bike/get a caride to wherever I need to go. I don't like buses. ;) Well ur still a... ... erm... non walking guy.. hah :-D :P Quote
xwingyoda Posted March 27, 2005 Posted March 27, 2005 Because you live in the states dude. When I was living in NC, I wouldn't go anywhere without my precious car. In Paris the subway sucks big time but I have to get it because my employers don't provide me with a parking space (see that will make a 150 Quote
The Middleman Posted March 27, 2005 Posted March 27, 2005 Just go to one of the Midnight Madness ones. There are like 30 Wal-Marts/TRUs in my state doing it, so I'll get all my sets no problem. :-D Quote
