The Middleman Posted March 27, 2005 Posted March 27, 2005 We should e-mail LEGO about it. Who knows? We might get an answer. Quote
Sarg_Kulo Posted March 27, 2005 Posted March 27, 2005 What is there email address? Myabe we should start a petition and them they can see how many ppl want it and and and *faints with excitment* Quote
The Middleman Posted March 27, 2005 Posted March 27, 2005 http://www.lego.com/eng/service/contactusform.asp Select 'LEGO Company', I think, for this. http://news.lugnet.com/dear-lego/ LUGNET users could post in here. jacob.mckee@america.^SayNoToSpam^lego.com That's apparently Jake McKee's e-mail, although I'm kind of doubtful about the ^SayNoToSpam^ part. :P Quote
Khorne Posted March 27, 2005 Posted March 27, 2005 Like a battle of Kashyyyk? It better be, but I doubt Lego will listen to us, especialy as we want it this much >-| OMG, that's a freakin' awesome idea, man. Just like the Space Battle pack. TLC could make a Kashyyyk Battle pack. it could contain the Wookiee catamaran and some other Kashyyyk stuff, but it still doesn't gives a solution(answer) to the No-White-Clones problem. TLC could produce sets like they did in the ancient times of the Castle Line: Minifig packs. Yep, that's the answer: Minifig Packs, but we can only dream of that :'( :'( . There could be a Clone pack, containing a blue Clone and a bunch of white ones. There could be a Wookiee pack, containing Tarfull( *wacko* ), Chewie, and some other furballs. And of course a Trade Feds pack, containing some junk bots. Quote
The Middleman Posted March 27, 2005 Posted March 27, 2005 Check some of the other threads for more ideas about minifig packs, Khorne! We've discussed it at length. I think if they did a Battle of Kashyyyk pack, they'd probably include Wookiee Attack and Clone Scout Walker, a few baseplates, some shrubbery (NI!), and a few troopers and battle droids. That'd probably work, and it'd be feasible at around $50. Quote
Sarg_Kulo Posted March 27, 2005 Posted March 27, 2005 We need a droid invasion force 2, maybe a homing spider droid (grey not blue ;) ) Quote
The Middleman Posted March 27, 2005 Posted March 27, 2005 When I get the wookie attack set I'm gonna rebuild the Corperate Alliance droid in brown and dark grey. they correct colours. The vehicles (including that one) are blue though. Yeah but during the first half of the Clone War, which is my favourite part. Why does lucas have to mess with the colours all the time *devil* Because otherwise his action figures wouldn't sell half as well. :P Quote
The Middleman Posted March 27, 2005 Posted March 27, 2005 We need a droid invasion force 2, maybe a homing spider droid (grey not blue ;) ) Well, blue would probably be better for continuity among the sets. ;) Quote

Sarg_Kulo Posted March 27, 2005 Posted March 27, 2005 Think how ugly it would be tho. Blue spider droid *sick* Quote
The Middleman Posted March 27, 2005 Posted March 27, 2005 I think a bit of variation is good, though. Makes for cool pieces. :-D Quote
The Middleman Posted March 27, 2005 Posted March 27, 2005 I posted the contact info higher up on the page. Think we should start a petition here? Storm LEGO with requests? Quote
Khorne Posted March 27, 2005 Posted March 27, 2005 I posted the contact info higher up on the page. Think we should start a petition here? Storm LEGO with requests? If you are going to start a petition, count me in!! But I think it won't work, well, you can always try. George Lucas uses stuff from fans in Sw to, so hey why don't try |-D Quote
jonfett Posted March 27, 2005 Posted March 27, 2005 In Europe we can get green and blue 32x32 baseplates from S@H.. sorry, don't mean to brag! :D I will check Bricklink for you though. Jon. Quote
The Middleman Posted March 27, 2005 Posted March 27, 2005 We can get green, but not blue. Besides, what I really need is 16x32 plates - more versatile. Quote
jonfett Posted March 27, 2005 Posted March 27, 2005 I checked Bricklink and this UK seller had the best selection of green, blue and tan baseplates. Hope it helps :) http://www.bricklink.com/store.asp?p=ellyr...&itemID=2700174 Jon. Quote
Precious Jazz Posted March 28, 2005 Posted March 28, 2005 Has anyone bought the General Grievous set yet? I'm tosing up whether to buy that or the Clone Scout Walker and was wondering how good the set is. Quote
The Middleman Posted March 28, 2005 Posted March 28, 2005 Has anyone bought the General Grievous set yet? I'm tosing up whether to buy that or the Clone Scout Walker and was wondering how good the set is. Buy the walker. It's awesome, and the GGC has gotten bad reviews on FBTB. Quote
Sarg_Kulo Posted March 28, 2005 Posted March 28, 2005 Not that it matters. I'm making my own Homig Spider Droid. and it's grey not bloody sand blue *devil* Quote
Sarg_Kulo Posted March 28, 2005 Posted March 28, 2005 There is now a petition up (thanks to bloody jay) Khorne, this matter needs everyones support so get emmailing to lego. Also I'm gonna put a link in my sig to let more people know about it. Quote
Sarg_Kulo Posted March 28, 2005 Posted March 28, 2005 I don't like how good ol' GG can't put his arms down and they have to be out all the time like he's holding hands with somone. Quote
Khorne Posted March 28, 2005 Posted March 28, 2005 I think GG looks pretty cool, he has such a cool head *glasses* . But Sarge_Kulo is right, GG can't put his arms down. He's like the opposite of the Battle Droid, they couldn't move their arms to the left or to the right, now Grievous can do that, but he can't put his arms down. Man, where's the world going to?(retorical question ;) ) Quote
xwingyoda Posted March 28, 2005 Posted March 28, 2005 Has anyone bought the General Grievous set yet? I'm tosing up whether to buy that or the Clone Scout Walker and was wondering how good the set is. I would definitly go for the walker: I have 3 of those and they are great :) . I saw the GGC set saturday and I really don't think its of any interest: the green beast is just ugly, GG'vehicle looks like crap. Paying 25 Quote
xwingyoda Posted March 28, 2005 Posted March 28, 2005 Not that it matters. I'm making my own Homig Spider Droid. and it's grey not bloody sand blue *devil* I kind of like this light blue (much better than the normal blue) it kind of looks like a custom blue from the 50's ;) I wish you luck on your "get rid of blue parts" quest. Unlike the OT Ties, the wookie attack set has some rare pieces, so I wonder how that will look. Changing the blue parts on the spider droid is OK but you have to change the blue parts of the droid tank as well Quote
