I'll try to remember to check this evening. As I recall, the instructions were available using a special computer program available from LEGO.
October 6, 200816 yr Maybe this is what you are looking for? if not, it's still worth a look.. http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=35660 Parax. Edited October 6, 200816 yr by Parax
October 6, 200816 yr I've had my set built into this model for a few years now, using those same instructions. I like it better than the stock Silver Champion, even though it's somewhat smaller. Its suspension works a lot more smoothly. I am not sure if it's exactly the same as the official 8458 third model though. They look very similar, but from those instructions it seems like this one was a custom AFOL-designed version.
October 7, 200816 yr I don't think this was the official third building instruction (the filename says "unofficial). I have a instruction on my computer that I have downloaded from the LEGO site. It is called Street Sensation. It looks more like a Formula car. I will try to upload it to a website later today (have to go to work now)... But the one by Nathaniel Kupiers is much better.
October 7, 200816 yr Yes, I think you could be right that this is not the original 'street sensation', but it is by a (now ex) lego designer... not sure on where you might find the street sensation instructions though... Parax.
October 8, 200816 yr The two models are actually pretty different apart from the fact that both are made from the Silver Champion. The car posted by Parax was designed by Nathanael Kuipers using the parts from 8458. You can see a picture of it below and you can find the instructions here (20 Mb). Believe it or not, he managed to make these instructions without using MLCAD. He modeled all the parts in Solidworks himself. The "Street Sensation" (not to be confused with the 8448 Super Street Sensation) was an official 3rd model of 8458. The set came with instructions for the first model (the F-1 racer) and the second model (the truck), but not the 3rd. Instructions for the third model could be downloaded from Lego using their "LEGO BIT" (Building Instruction Tool) program. This program no longer exists so the instructions are not that easy to come by. Luckily, I have just posted them at my website here (2.6 Mb). It is fairly low resolution. I was able to find the original source files here. You can see a picture of this model below and see that it is distinct from Nathanael's model. It starts with the chassis from the standard 8458 and simply adds a different body.
October 8, 200816 yr Author Thanks again...however i like much more the unofficial car than the official third model...i'm building it in these days...

I'm digging up an ancient thread but I found this while Googling and it appears you are the only person that might help. Do you still by any chance have the instructions to the Street Sensation C model? The links are broken after 13 years... I also sent an email to Lego in case they might help. Both long shots but what can you do lol.
February 19, 20223 yr I just took a look at one of the old instructions websites I used to frequent, and it looks to me like they have the instructions for this Street Sensation--it's a low, street car, right? It doesn't look like this site lets me post links to a specific set of instructions, but if you go here: https://brickfactory.info/, click on the "All Scans: By Number" box, select 8400-8499 from the dropdown list, and scroll down to 8458, you should find them. Would it make sense that this model was built on the same chassis as the main model? Hopefully it was, because the instructions seem to start with the chassis already built.

However it seems to start with the model already half built, I suppose building on the silver champion's chassis. But how am I supposed to know where to stop disassembling the A model? Oh well.

Looking at book 1 of the main model, I'm thinking the base frame build stops after step 59 when changing over to the B model.
