I just got a horse from a ranch in Milan, and let me tell you- it is the cutest little (or... not so little ) pet I've ever had. Since I can hardly keep it in Venice, I've got him in my country house in Bologna. So.... any other horse owners out there? We can ride together!

I have about 50 lego horses !

And yes, I want to go ride together, me and my horses will take a plane if we can stay with you.

I hope none of my horsies has flying disease...I don't have space in my pockets for all of them.

Back to reality:

I once rode a "Brabander" working horse belonging to my uncle (a few times, but never alone).

He used to be a farmer but is retired now.

I can barely remember that (I even had to ask mom what horsebrand it was, I only knew it had one horsepower  ), I was probably something like 5 or 6 years old and he always accompagnied me, but it was fun nevertheless !

Oooh...were are the times...

I believe, remembering from physics, that one horse actually can put out 10 horsepower.

But cool, you got a horse. I guess your LEGO budget just went out the window though. Horses ain't cheap!

hum.. I have a horse... in my freezer... well, not an entire horse, just a part of it :P

and I only have 4 lego horses ^^

as I already said, I live in a 35m² apartment, in the downtown of Geneva, so it's not really possible to have a horse :P

Wow, that's a lot, so a horse has more "output" then my old car :sweet: . (I used to drive a "goat" till I got 20)

I always knew horses were stronger then goats...

Well, Adam, any updates about ya horsie from Milan?

What brand is it?

Does it also have 10 horsepower?

What color does it have? Was it custom painted or did it come with a basic factory color?

You eat horses?! D: !

in Switzerland , horse meat is cheaper than beef or cow or sheep or pig, so the majority of people eat horses yes ^^ but actually I lied, I don't actually have Horse meat in my freezer, I have some beef, there is a lot " horse specialized butchery " ^^ it chocked me too when I arrived here ( I'm from the south of France, Marseilles, I was not born in Switzerland ) .

WOW, you had your own RANCH ???

Man, I'd wish I were as rich as you are... Why did he sell it BTW?? (I hope it hasn't got anything to do with the current "crisis")

And I was happy I could make a ride on my uncles old working horse.

PS: a "Brabander" is amongst the strongest horses around the world, according to my uncle who visited today !

No, it's not a LEGO horse... He's very young, not nearly as large as some of the other ones available. My wife picked him out (yes, we're married now!), and he's brown with the cutest white stripes around his "ankles". I must admit, cleaning up the turd is a pain(), but his white tipped main really is lovely. As to what brand he is, my wife did all of the research, so I'm not sure... I'll have to ask her. He isn't able to be ridden yet, he's so small, and I'll try to upload pictures soon- I have yet to obtain a flickr acount (though I've been meaning to for about a year), and the pictures are difficult to upload. :classic:

Oh, please upload some pics if you can, I love to see animals if they're young.

CONGRATULATIONS with your marriage Adam !

I must admit, cleaning up the turd is a pain

I didn't know exactly what "Turd" meant, since I've heard people call someone a turd, I got confused...Therefore I looked it up in an online dictionary:

(a) Turd:

1 sometimes vulgar : a piece of fecal matter

2 usually vulgar : a contemptible person

My fiancee has six of the buggers (horses, that is). They just take all your time and money. Honestly if I knew then what I know now...

I'm doing a skydive next year for the horse charity that she works for. Wish me luck

Ok...i wish you LOADS of luck...

W.a.m.: A SKYDIVE?? For a horse (or some), You gotta be *** ! Unless you love horses THAT much...

I would also consider making a skydive for a horse...if I got to eat it as a reward afterwards

I have send this line to your fiancee, and I added that it is not respectable of her to let you risk your life for something you don't even like and that you would prefer it that you never got to know her in the first place :sadnew: .

She told me she was leaving you right now. Finally you will be able to save more money and have some time for yourself !!!

(No need to thank me, I only hope you will do the same for me when needed) :sweet:

I'm not rich.... :sceptic: .....it was a very small ranch....that was very old...10 years old....it didn't have anything to do with the "crisis". To make a long story short...It was my dad's and it was under his name, but my grandpa payed the taxes for it and he wanted to sell it, so....yeah.... :hmpf_bad: If I were rich...I'd have more LEGO...
