Bob Posted October 14, 2008 Posted October 14, 2008 We heard you the first time... Anyway, there is the matter of an axe. Maybe it was the inquisitor, he will have to make an execution. Whether everyone agrees on it or not...
Pickerel Posted October 14, 2008 Posted October 14, 2008 Hey, since when was dressing like a foreigner a crime, hey? If you want to go on about foreigners, then go on about the Inquisitor, for in reality, the only thing we know about him is that he says he's here to clear up the town. Anyway, as Charles, has pointed out, it is not actually my job to record who I sell each item to. Do you think Martinus records each and every person he sells a loaf of bread to? No. Also, I'm sure many people in this town can write, including yourself and all the nobles. It's what comes of being rich and educated. Lastly, I do not think you can possibly blame me for selling "witch" supplies. If you want to look at things that way, then you could also say that the bakery and other food places are guilty of selling food to the witches, which keeps them alive. But that is just silly, isn't it, and so is accusing me of selling normal household items to witches. I can assure you that if a witch came into my store, then I would not sell her a thing, and would turn her out and hand her over to the mob. The problem at the moment is, however, that we do not know who the witches are. A very good point! I only remember customers when I run out of booze. Charles, you were very quick to accuse people of being a witch. You've already voted! Perhaps you are trying to turn people against each other in an effort to hide a dark secret? @Mustafa, dressing weird isn't a crime, but having a better name than I do is! When I moved here quite some time ago all people called me was "Martinus, the Idiot Baker of Main Street"! Well, How about I bake everyone a pie. It's delicious and very good. It apple pie. I had to do something with my apples. Just because the other people and I went to the market, doesnt mean that anyone else could have gone to. What the deuce? That's my job!
Lego12 Posted October 14, 2008 Posted October 14, 2008 Ahhh, just forget about it, I'm not going to take a nap, I can't risk the chance of someone trying to kill me. Well it is true, but a broom can be used to clean a house, an axe to cut wood, and the parchment for some...hmmm, well I can't think of anything for it right now.
Bob Posted October 14, 2008 Posted October 14, 2008 Im just trying to help, being a peasant gives me some free time, so baking will be right up my alley!
Lego12 Posted October 14, 2008 Posted October 14, 2008 Im just trying to help, being a peasant gives me some free time, so baking will be right up my alley! I'll take some of that apple pie, it sounds delicious!
Hinckley Posted October 14, 2008 Posted October 14, 2008 and the parchment for some...hmmm, well I can't think of anything for it right now. If I had bought some parchment, I would use it to write you a letter telling you to shut up.
Lego12 Posted October 14, 2008 Posted October 14, 2008 If I had bought some parchment, I would use it to write you a letter telling you to shut up. Oh, yeah well, I would use it to throw some in your face, yeah, I'd do that. Well on a more serious note, we have to find out who the witches are.(Duh!) They are ruining our fine town! We must rid them from the town! We have have very few clues and no leads, so somebody will die tonight.... It would break my heart to see somebody die by those damn witches.......which we live with!
Bob Posted October 14, 2008 Posted October 14, 2008 Hmmm, we are in a predicament. Infact, we would almost sadly wait for another message for God, or we will wait for tommorow. Lets look at some of the less active players. Do they have anything to say to there defence? Yes? No? There are questions that need to be answered, and there are no answers anywhere.

Lets look at some of the less active players. Do they have anything to say to there defence? Yes? No? There are questions that need to be answered, and there are no answers anywhere. Sadly, if we wait for tomorrow, someone could die tonight. I wish we had some better leads... (OOC: Sorry I haven't posted much, but I've been busy lately.)
I Scream Clone Posted October 14, 2008 Posted October 14, 2008 Sadly, if we wait for tomorrow, someone could die tonight. I wish we had some better leads... (OOC: Sorry I haven't posted much, but I've been busy lately.) Thats alright Pablo, we understand it takes a long time to bathe that smell away! Well we still have nothing to go on, and im truly worried about what may happen tonight, though Sergio wont be muttering away at us all I suppose
Derek Posted October 15, 2008 Posted October 15, 2008 Tradition also tells us that at least one of the military fellows is not who they say they are.I just don't know. Hey dont look at me! I have nothing to hide. I really think this whole market thing is key. We need to find out who bought what today....
Trexxen Posted October 15, 2008 Posted October 15, 2008 Sigh...I wish I could be of more help to you all, but I was out and about at the time, and didn't see any of the purchases. Let's look at the facts: -The only three people we are certain shopped there are Sabrina, John, and Cassandra. (I Scream Clone, Darth_Legois, and Bob the Construction Man.) -Mustafa must have SOME dealings with someone on the wrong side of God to have acquired said items, be it unknowingly or not. As a merchant who has the unfortunate position to stare at him all day, I understand that sometimes you never even see who you get your goods from - but really, you're not THAT different, I mean, a broomstick? Parchment with odd writing and a wand on it? REALLY? -The only one of this group that would REALLY be motivated is poor Cassandra. Making an honest living to barely support herself with the pies, perhaps she'd like to be on top for once? (*snicker*) I highly doubt it would be her, but in these troublesome times... Make of this information what you will; hopefully someone can figure out who to vote for before the night is over. ~Bernard
Adam Posted October 15, 2008 Posted October 15, 2008 In light of our scrambled opinions, I've decided to take the most reliable route- vote: witches.
Lego12 Posted October 15, 2008 Posted October 15, 2008 Sabrina who is such a female canine nice lady, could be a witch. The hell with it, anybody could be a witch! The problem is, we need some clues from god! *Starts praying* Please oh Lord, give us some clues...we want to rid the town of the witches. They are evil souls who will try to kill us all, if you don't help us, innocent people will die, oh please give us a clue, any clue.... *Finishs praying* I like your theory, it could be Cassandra, maybe she even wants to kill her own husband! Maybe they're working together! This is really stressing me out....
Bob Posted October 15, 2008 Posted October 15, 2008 I can say completly that I am not a Baritone witch. Sure I Work in the fields, do the taxes, do the shoping, make the pies, do the cooking.....You might ask, What does my husband do? But look at me, im just a simple peasant, trying to make my way in the universe town. If you really want to investigate some one, try the people at the church. They might have been confessing. Kill my husband? What are you mad? We are working together though. Were married. Happiliy.
Stash2Sixx Posted October 15, 2008 Posted October 15, 2008 Philip, before you couldn't be bothered with any of this; you were too busy with your studies? Now you make a general vote for witches, yet no one specific. Interesting, avoid the topic at hand, and later play dumb.. I'm keepin' my eye on you! Nobles always think they are better then the peasants, tsk, tsk. Dear Father, when is it time to share in the sacrement (wine for you that don't know)?
Dragonator Posted October 15, 2008 Posted October 15, 2008 -Mustafa must have SOME dealings with someone on the wrong side of God to have acquired said items, be it unknowingly or not. Parchment with odd writing and a wand on it? REALLY? I think you have a few facts wrong my friend, or perhaps your trying to distort things since I'm your competition in this town. Anyway, the fact is, that these items, by themselves, are not evil. They are the normal sort of stock any self-respecting merchant would have. But in the hands of witches, they could be dangerous. That is why we need to find who bought these items, and why. There could be a very legitimate reason, but I doubt it. As for the parchment, I'm pretty sure it didn't have anything on it, it probably just came out of one of my piles of blank sheets I keep out back. I have all sorts of people buy parchment every day, especially the nobles, so I don't really see what the big deal is about it. Rich people write lots of letters. As for the broomstick, I think we've already explained that at least 3 times. I'm getting sick of going around and around in circles, we need to find the people who bought these items, not keep discussing the items in question. Really you'd think some people here didn't listen to what others were saying. Hang on, that's a good point. The only people around here who would buy parchment are the people who can read and write. So perhaps that will thin down our investigation?

Pies not made by me... take away business... me not make more money, me angry :skull: OOC: Not angry enough to turn to witchcraft, to keep things clear! So perhaps that will thin down our investigation? That is a great point! Who are the nobles among Sabrina, John, or Cassandra? Sabrina is the only one. Perhaps she is the parchment-buyer? As far as I know, she's the only one who would know how to right. Do you three have something to explain or are you witches ? We're getting somewhere! (Maybe)
Shadows Posted October 15, 2008 Posted October 15, 2008 I find it revealing that some people are trying to go against the Church when you need us the most. I sincerely believe that those people are under the spell of a witch, or practicing the black arts themselves. Time will tell. Keep a close eye on who is accusing whom and why, and who is simply trying to look at the clues we have to determine something. The witches are making themselves obvious right now, perhaps we should act?
I Scream Clone Posted October 15, 2008 Posted October 15, 2008 I like where we are going with the parchment being bought by a noble, though this still doesn't really prove that it will be used for Witchery, just writing. Thank you Pickerel, I wasn't aware of how noble i was, im actually a peasant for your info! shocking I know....so I guess that leaves Charles/Hinckley as the most likely parchment purchaser. For all we know he may right a note and throw it at Sergio, not very menacing. I think TPRU is merely showing us how someone will probably die tonight.
Dragonator Posted October 15, 2008 Posted October 15, 2008 ...so I guess that leaves Charles/Hinckley as the most likely parchment purchaser. And Philip, Charles' wife, as well as anyone else who can write. Again, no one single suspect. Also, Sabrina mentions a good point in that for all we know, the parchment could have been bought to write a letter and may only have been mentioned by the hands in the sky to try and mislead us. Everything is just so confusing, I don't know who to suspect. There is plenty of evidence, but none of it points to anybody. Gah, I need a lie down, all this going around in circles is making me dizzy...

The only people around here who would buy parchment are the people who can read and write. So perhaps that will thin down our investigation? A valid point. That basically means Charles and his wife, Philip with his eternal studies, the Inquisitor and myself, and then things become tricky. Potentially, anyone else could be educated but concealing it in an attempt to confuse us. How much do we truly know about the backgrounds of the citizens of Azufre? I will admit, however, that taking the noble angle and adding his haste at accusing members of the Church and others, Lord Beelzebub Charles is looking more and more suspicious to me. If I felt that others shared that view, I might consider it time to take action before nightfall. I like where we are going with the parchment being bought by a noble, though this still doesn't really prove that it will be used for Witchery, just writing. Thank you Pickerel, I wasn't aware of how noble i was, im actually a peasant for your info! shocking I know....so I guess that leaves Charles/Hinckley as the most likely parchment purchaser. If the parchment wasn't important, I do not believe that God would have brought it to our attention and I do not believe that he is attempting to deceive us. He knows this is our first day dealing with this problem, he is probably being kind and trying to help, it's what some of us have been praying for, isn't it? I also doubt that the axe is a coincidence, nor is it the kind of thing that a poor person could afford to suddenly buy, and if they did, I think they would admit it to us. Who would be suspicious of a farmer who needed an axe to chop firewood? I wouldn't. No... someone bought this axe with the intent to keep it a secret. That means evil, hiding in the shadows and wrapping it's boney fingers around the souls of the good. Perhaps the soldiers could search for this item? It might answer as much as the parchment, and finding it just might prevent a horrible murder.
MagPiesRUs Posted October 15, 2008 Author Posted October 15, 2008 The sky began to darken. The town had to make a decision now, or not at all. The day will end at about 4:00 am GMT.
