"Bye Charles, hope that you're a witch or else we'd have killed an innocent person."

-Martinus

So yeah, since we don't need evidence anymore, and we are just making dumb random guesses, I UNVOTE: SERGIO/LEGO12

I now VOTE: PICKEREL/MARTINUS!

Obviously, he has doubts about Charles being guilty, but since it's 'bandwagon' time, I guess I'm gonna' jump on and accuse people just because also.

Where are the three shoppers? Only one (Bob the construction man) has come forth and said he bought the apples, right? How about the others?

Please use common sense people! Or we will lose to the witches!

Is there anything wrong about hoping to not have killed an innocent man. :hmpf:

When did I ever say we don't need evidence? :wacko:I didn't. Currently (in my opinion) Charles has the most evidence. This is why I voted for Charles. I then state that I wish that he's witch or else we'd have killed an innocent man. I have no doubts against Charles. My words were not meant to spite him. Sorry if you interpreted it that way. :sceptic:

Now comes to your post. Obviously you've been defensive of Charles this entire time. Perhaps you two are both witches? Bandwagon is both good and bad. It allows people to group together and form a powerful group that controls a lot of decisions. If one person votes for someone they all do. If they choose right. Yay. If they choose wrong. Waah. (Again let's hope we all choose the right decision). Unfortunetly in your case you it is not bandwagon. You selected someone who publicly said they wish to have made the right choice. Then you twist my post, make me seem unsure of decision and make me look like a random guesser.

I think your post almost seems explosive, like it was a long built up tension that just required one post to set it off. Perhaps, like I said Hinckley and you are witches together?

Like in post this is dark buisiness. :cry_sad:

Wait, have you people gone mad? There's not enough evidence to execute this wretched soul. Yes, he may be an arrogant prick, but we don't know if he delves into witchcraft. We don't even know if he actually bought the parchment! There's not enough pointing to him in my eyes. I've already mentioned the crime he commits... breaks the Seven Deadly Sins often I'm sure. But that does not mean he is a heretic.

It is my job to accuse people, but I'm not sure if I shall vote to condemn this sinner. I am sure he will go to Hell, but perhaps not for being a witch. He isn't breaking down to his knees pleading, so I am curious. Present to me more evidence, please.

OOC: I'm sorry, I've not been able to get to a computor for a while.

BIC: I dose off for a while, and what do I wake up to? My husband, a leading noble getting accused of foul deeds by the scum of the earth! How dare you even think that my husband is a witch! Do you not understand that he is a good man! He gave you a guide to spotting witches! And i8f he was not a normal man, don't you think that I would of noticed by now! I've lived with him for years! Would I have been so stupid as to not know thathe was a witch. This is a direct insult to my family, my husband, and me! There are many more people who can be accused. What about the purfume seller! Trying to lure in young woman with his smells! Does my husband deserve to die more than him? And what of the young Sabrina, promising herself to every man she meets, or every person she comes across! My husband is surely not beneath her. He may be strange, he may even seem evil at times, but he deserves to live more than half the people in this acursed town. he is simply trying to rid us of the witches! He knows what must be done, are you people, you dirty rotten people, too ignorant to let him live!

I also find this somewhat offensive to me, as I am a good friend of Charles and Joan. I think that I would have noticed something more than his arrogant attitude, and so far, I haven't seen anything convicting enough. There are certainly more suspicous people- what of Mustafa? Perhaps he knows who bought each item? This should be true.

I Unvote: Charles/Hinckley and im sticking to it. I find no evidence to support of him being a witch. Im not voting anyone right now.

I offer no easy answers for you all, though my voting and the good Fathers hintings led to a massive ground swell of voting for Charles, nobody is game enough to land the final couple of votes.

I prefer to take our chances than sit by idly waiting for witches to snuff us out 1 by 1.

Though I was at Mustafa's, I didn't purchase anything (to my knowledge) perhaps I merely went there to discuss our plans for the evening.

Oh and Philip the book reader. You came close to getting my vote for the ridiculous voting in your post! Take a stand, don't stuff around :hmpf_bad:

That's true....sorry Charles. I still can't take the chance...you could end up being the witch after all. Your a really good guy, with a really good wife, but you seem the most suspicious and you are the only lead....sorry again buddy....I'll miss you... :cry_sad: We are buddies, right?

Hmmm. I still dont see any evidence on Charles. I personally think that we are just taking a wild stab in the dark and hoping that we will hit someone, no matter who it is.

Oh and my pie is ready, for those interested.

There's plenty of evidence in other directions, you moron. Someone (not me) purchased a broom and an axe and we've narrowed it down to three people: Sabrina, Charles & John. The preacher Alexander and the inquisitor Fernando seem to be quick to accuse anyone of witchcraft, most likely to protect themselves from accusation. They are the most likely suspects in my eyes as are the first few people to jump on the bandwagon to vote for me. Perhaps an early death is a blessing as life in this town will soon be dark magic and witches and the dark forces seem to be able to easily sway your weak, uneducated minds. :hmpf_bad:

Blah blah, the mean Church people are trying to catch the witch, whine whine. Give me a break, already. :hmpf:

That said, I feel secure in revealing that I have, with the guidance of the Lord, conducted a bit of a misdirection here today. I don't think we have even vaguely enough evidence to convict Lord WhineyAss Charles, but I wanted to see who would jump at the opportunity and who would be more likely to give it careful consideration. The test went well, and here is how I see the results...

Anyone who jumped on the bandwagon quickly is being kept on one list. Anyone who didn't, is on another. Once we convict someone on either list, I'll feel confident in determining who the other witches are, based solely on that.

In other words, you people have shown your loyalties, and the Church appreciates it.

Unvote: Charles / Hinckley

Thank you for your cooperation, it has been quite helpful. :sweet:

11 votes to convict. And I agree about there being very little evidence, but a shot in the dark is better than no shot at all.

But a shot in the dark can hit you too, my friend.

Is there anything wrong about hoping to not have killed an innocent man. :hmpf:

When did I ever say we don't need evidence? I didn't. Currently (in my opinion) Charles has the most evidence.

And what evidence is that? None of the evidence we have points to me!

Oh, wow. Thank you. I accused you earlier of being a heretic yourself, but now I owe you my gratitude and perhaps even my life. Undying thanks and you shall be always welcome in our home during your stay here.

Oh, my lovely wife who I also accused of being a witch. How foolish I've been. Facing death today I realize how scared I've been since witchcraft has invaded our town. Fear is a powerful thing. Can you ever forgive me for being blinded and suspecting you? You are my life. You mean the world to me.

...I'll miss you... :cry_sad: We are buddies, right?

I'm not condemned yet, you twit! :hmpf_bad:

I apologize for suspecting everyone. I hope I survive the night and promise to work with everyone to catch these evil invaders of our town. I am your better and can help with my superior intellect and high level of education. Together we can take back our town.

Thank you to all who came to my aid. You've given me hope in myself and humanity. :cry_happy:

And unfortunately Martinus, you don't know me (in real life) well enough, which kinda sucks because things (the internet) can make messages be interpreted different than the way they were originally intended. My message was not meant as an explosion in any way, I just happen to be a very direct person. I have no problem with speaking the truth, I just tend to show discretion and deal with things until they get out of hand. Obviously, if you are hoping you made the right decision, you do not have enough evidence! Just put yourself in that position.

Now maybe Charles is a witch/warlock, I do not know. What I do know is that as a town, we were gonna lynch a man based on no real evidence. Being a farmer, we call that megablocks! If evidence does show itself on who the witches are, you can bet your @ss I'll be one of the first to bring the rope! With the information we have (and honestly the participation by some of the town folks has been crap) and answers we have NOT received, this is becoming very difficult to make an intelligent decision.

Even our Priest has resorted to mischievious ways! These witches are powerful people! So as of right now, based on all these problems that have arisen, I trust no one. Not even my own father Gustavus; he has been troubled these past few weeks and I believe the answer he gave me, his own son, was less than the truth!

Any of you witches try anything with me tonight, I'll stab you in your leg so hard you'll wish you could cut it off to relieve the pain! Enjoy your new limp!

Hi everyone, I'm back again. I was searching through my records in the vain hope that I might find something, but alas, no.

Now, it seems that there is a big thing going on against one of our nobles. To be honest, after reading through listening to all of that, I think I have learnt a bit about some of the people here, and why they vote for some people. As I said earlier on, there is very little evidence at all, and none of it points to Charles. That said, there isn't anything really to say that he isn't a witch, but then, everyone here is in those same circumstances, so it doesn't help is much.

So my conclusion, after looking at all the evidence, is that we are just as stuck right now as we were at the beginning of the day. :hmpf_bad:

Personally, I would need a bit more evidence against Charles before I decided to vote for him. As I see things at the moment, there are people here who provoke far more suspicion that he does, for example, the people who were so willing to vote for him without any evidence. I will be interested to find out if our actions today have managed to help us in any way; darkness draws near, and we will soon find out whether what we have learnt is going to be any use.

Actual Evidence: John/Darth Legois, Cassandra/Bob the Construction Man or Sabrina/I Scream Clone bought an axe and/or a broom and some other items that can be used for no good today during our luncheon time.

Suspicious activity: Some people are suspicious of me for being suspicious of everyone and kind of a jackass. Alexander/ImperialShadows, Sabrina/I scream Clone, John/Darth Legois, Martinus/Pickerel, Sergio/lego12 and Miguel/Quarryman were all very quick to vote for me with no evidence.

Two people appear in both of those lists and I suggest we focus our attention on John/Darth Legois and Sabrina/I Scream Clone. That is where the actual evidence is pointing. I'm not saying we should convict anyone, I'm just saying we should keep a close eye on them...

Also interesting to note is that Isabella/kill will, Sergio/lego12 and Miguel/Quarryman all followed Alexander to the church. If he's up to something, perhaps the whole group is in on it. Plus Alexander, Sergio and Miguel are all in the list of people who accused me quickly.

I think these are good solid hunches to follow...

I'm very educated, but can someone explain the difference between a witch and a heretic? :sceptic:

They both come from "a land down-under."

Thank you for pointing this out Charles. This is good information to have. What do either of you have to say for yourselves?

Mustafa, you don't have any more information or anything, do you?

You see, that is the problem. There isn't really very much information to go off. I feel that Charles has summed up what has been discovered today nicely; hopefully it will be useful in our investigations. I cannot see anything else right now, but I will think over what has been said today, and if anything jumps out at me, I'll let you all know. :classic:

OOC: Can we please end this day?! We aren't going to be able to find anything out... just end it! In the name of the Emperor, finish this! *head shot Necron* (please get reference!)

Ahah, so even this arrogant lord can break down and give me thanks for not condemning him. You should confess your sins soon. Reconcilliation is always a good thing! In fact, I would like all of the witches to do so as well! Don't be shy with me. However, I can't promise that the rest of the village will allow you turn away from Satan so easily. Anyways, whoever bought the parchment should give it to me! We can post the names of the people who have confessed on the door!

As for the difference between a heretic and a witch, what does it matter? A heretic can technically still follow God, but they go against the Church's teachings and are therefore wrong. Only the college of priests can interpret the Bible, remember that! However witches are even worse, who join the Devil himself and perform is wicked deeds. But in the end witches are also heretics, since they go against the Church! Both are very bad, and are targets of Inquisitors such as me.

Now for the so called evidence. Perhaps we should question those people soon, since they were so eager to kill off Lord Arrogantass Charles. But that should wait until morning, since I'm rather sleepy myself. Its been a long day... Remember, I'll be watching you.

OOC: I just noticed that I forgot to put in one of my catch phrases at the end of that other post.. aw..

No. I was just wondering if we are searching out two groups of people: witches and heretics. I was wondering, if that's the case, if Alexander, Sergio, Isabella and Miguel aren't one group while John, Sabrina and Cassandra make up the other group.

OOC: stop making OOC posts please! It's really getting annoying! :hmpf_bad::tongue:

The sun began to set in Azufre and town had failed to come to a decision. Inquisitor Fernando sighed, "We shall continue this tommorow."

The town returned to their houses for the night, hoping to have more luck catching witches the next day. Some however, planned to take action themselves, and stop the vile heathens from spreading their filth to the town at night.
