Zorro Posted December 3, 2008 Author Posted December 3, 2008 (edited) Actually they are all LEGO torsos so i don't really know...I am planning to use some decals soon though (for my English and Germans). Thanks for the positive comments . Edited December 3, 2008 by zorro3999 Quote
Captain Zuloo Posted December 3, 2008 Posted December 3, 2008 I see you have very nice torso's for your minifigs. I've been designing already a few torso's but do you print them on sticker paper or do you glue them onto your minifigs? In my opinion, you should use sticker paper, as if you place it on correctly, you can avoid bumps that occur from glue. Quote

Thanks for the tip Captain Zuloo, I will buy some paper tomorrow Edited December 5, 2008 by Cap'n Blackmoor Quote
Zorro Posted December 17, 2008 Author Posted December 17, 2008 I made a new addition to my army! I bought some new soldiers and used them for my British foot guards. (see picture 5) Quote
Brickadier General Posted December 19, 2008 Posted December 19, 2008 Zorro, I'm happy to see you are working on soldiers from the Napoleonic Wars. I'm expecting to eventually see them incorporated in some sort of diorama. That's an order, Private! Quote
Zorro Posted December 19, 2008 Author Posted December 19, 2008 Yes I will do that, but first I need more men! But a diorama or battlefield certainly stands on my schedule. Quote
isaacbrockthebuilder Posted December 29, 2008 Posted December 29, 2008 Nice army, zorro. May i recomend adding a Napoleon. Quote
Zorro Posted December 29, 2008 Author Posted December 29, 2008 Thanks, I will add a Napoleon and possibly some officers too, I am on the lookout for an appropriate torso/decal for them. I have big plans for my soldiers, but as you can read it is a WIP . Quote
isaacbrockthebuilder Posted December 30, 2008 Posted December 30, 2008 (edited) Oh, and you should add some russian cossacks, and some of french dragoons, or italian soldiers. Edited January 9, 2009 by isaacbrockthebuilder Quote
isaacbrockthebuilder Posted February 4, 2009 Posted February 4, 2009 (edited) I find that the new admiral torso works well as a english hussar Edited February 4, 2009 by isaacbrockthebuilder Quote

Capt. Kirk Posted February 4, 2009 Posted February 4, 2009 (edited) Hi Zorro... nice touch in your photo... a lazy fox that commands his troops... But I'm not the one with the historical knowledge… but which helmet of the old days must this represent ? Thanks in advance for a reply. Edited February 4, 2009 by Capt. Kirk Quote
Zorro Posted February 4, 2009 Author Posted February 4, 2009 Basic Cuirassiers helmet. I think its the best one can do with the original parts. Maybe woody64's work could help me out into the not so very far future? Quote
Capt. Kirk Posted February 4, 2009 Posted February 4, 2009 Ha... I see... and indeed that's the best thing you could do with the original parts. Thx for the reply... (by the way... I got your package yesterday... THX !!!) Quote

That's the mentioned version of the french cuirassier helment in this picture worn by a dragoon: Also used by the French was this type of helmet (in this picture worn by an austrian dragoon) Andreas Edited February 5, 2009 by woody64 Quote

Zorro Posted February 7, 2009 Author Posted February 7, 2009 Don't feel bad Zorro but my friend uses a crocidle as a leader of his army Of course I don't, and it was just a joke , I really do not use my sigfig into my army. Btw it's a Fabuland Fox head I put on a minifig (it fits, LEGO is compatible ay). And to Woody, yes I know, I am watching your threads very closely, and it is only a matter of time untill I will place my order. Its just I have such a long buying list and the new Pirates sets didn't make it any shorter . Quote
