Thrash Posted February 1, 2009 Posted February 1, 2009 Great job ISC! I love how you made it a giant dragon skeleton. The big skeleton head that made was good too, but I think that it was a good decision to just go for the dragon skeleton on top instead. The flaming tree is also really well done. I like how you used the arms to make the tree. ~Thrash Quote
Brickthing Posted February 1, 2009 Posted February 1, 2009 Great Embassy! I'm glad that you made the roof a giant ribcage, and having a cemetery for the embassy is a great idea. However, I get the feeling that they're not going to be doing much political stuff in their graves, just sleeping... Also, I'm not sure if the convenient placing of the Skeleton Embassy next to the lower side of Trash's Troll Embassy will help or hinder Thrash's troll cook... :skull: Quote

Nothing wrong with admiring your Tavern as it was a massive build. Great Embassy! I'm glad that you made the roof a giant ribcage, and having a cemetery for the embassy is a great idea. However, I get the feeling that they're not going to be doing much political stuff in their graves, just sleeping... The rib cage was a great idea, had to give it a try. Also, I'm not sure if the convenient placing of the Skeleton Embassy next to the lower side of Trash's Troll Embassy will help or hinder Thrash's troll cook... :skull: I assume you mean this particular picture Think of it as an unholy alliance, creating new recruits for the Skeleton army or perhaps a medieval solarium for Skellies Quote
Etzel Posted February 2, 2009 Posted February 2, 2009 Hello! Here is my C16 Guard Post module: Easy access to walls by the stairs and a small house for the guards to rest in between their watch shifts. Space is limited inside a Castle and therefore the roof is used to grow plants on. Inside the house there is a small bed to rest on. I'm happy to be in the team and I hope to be back with more modules soon. /Etzel Quote
I Scream Clone Posted February 2, 2009 Author Posted February 2, 2009 I love all the details on this MOC Guardpost. The little room with bed is great. The bonsai apple tree is cool. All signs point to a happy owner of 10193 I think Now I am even more jealous of people who own this set . But don't sweat it, It shall be mine soon Looking forward to more cool modules, you can always use 16 x 32 plates as well. Quote
Captain Blackmoor Posted February 2, 2009 Posted February 2, 2009 Sweet! I love the dragon bones used for the roof. Really skelly. The flaming tree is well done too and I like the 'hellish and deadly' look on this MOC. Great job for the skeleton embassy! The guard's post module is very neat too! I love the stairs and the details everywhere. I like the apple tree on the roof too. The interior is small but cozy. Nice job! Quote
Thrash Posted February 2, 2009 Posted February 2, 2009 Great to have you on Team Beta Etzel! That's a nice guardpost you made...it fits perfectly for the civilian district. My favorite parts are the railing (good use of the gold colored dots) and that little apple tree. ~Thrash Quote
Thrash Posted February 9, 2009 Posted February 9, 2009 In yet another shameless double post, I present my first module in a few weeks: the Wolfpack Embassy! I've had this module in mind for quite a while but was never really in the mood to build it. When the contest came along, I figured it was time I quit being lazy and build it! The back: Traditional wolf pack member, Wolfpack Ambassador, and Wolfpack elite guard: Here's the decal I made for the lady. I wanted it to look like the princess leia torso but have little wolfpack symbols on it: I hope you all like it! I'll probably enter it in the contest, but in case I build a lot of modules before the deadline I want to hold off so that I can choose the best two to enter. (I assume that's ok, ISC?) Erdbeereis Posted February 9, 2009 Posted February 9, 2009 Great module Thrash! I really like the colors and all of the little boney details. Quote
Captain Blackmoor Posted February 9, 2009 Posted February 9, 2009 Yeah, I like it too. It has a 'wolf fur' look because it's brown and full of bone details. Great job as always! Quote
General Armendariz Posted February 12, 2009 Posted February 12, 2009 (edited) Sorry for the long wait I bring you, The black falcon embassy! Yes that big black thing is a falcon, A cheesy falcon Side view Back view Sorry for the small pic The weird falcon thingy A knight, The black falcon ambassador, an archer, Two guards and a look out. I Scream Clone Posted February 12, 2009 Author Posted February 12, 2009 Now you are making me jealous! I don't have any black falcons yet..... Is this an entry into the competition? Cheers ISC Quote
Ricecracker Posted February 12, 2009 Posted February 12, 2009 I really like that Genaral Armendariz! I wish I had some falcons...... I think you've done wonderfully with the brickbuilt falcon, and the ambassador looks nice as well. Quote
General Armendariz Posted February 12, 2009 Posted February 12, 2009 Is this an entry into the competition?Cheers ISC oh, no, no if I did that I would of entered it in the contest That was my like second post in this topic so you hardly notice me Im more of a pirate fan then a castle fan This is my contribution to the ECCB! Thrash Posted February 12, 2009 Posted February 12, 2009 Very nice Black Falcon Embassy. I like how you used the Ninja torso for the ambassador, and you did a good job of giving it a classic feel. ~Thrash Quote
Etzel Posted February 12, 2009 Posted February 12, 2009 Here is my latest module that I've been working on lately, The Beggars Shacks: When living on the edge of starvation, accidents like this are not affordable. This boy is trying to help bringing food to the table by catching this Lesser Black-backed Gull Yes, I included a bird in this MOC too The right side... ...that opens up! Brickshelf Gallary when public I hope you like it! /Etzel Quote
Thrash Posted February 12, 2009 Posted February 12, 2009 Very nicely done Etzel. It looks exactly like the worst part of town should look. The door falling off the hinges is a really nice detail. This just reminded me that I've been falling behind on my thumbnailing duty! I'll have the thumbnails for this and the Black Falcon Embassy ready soon. ~Thrash Quote
Waterbrick Down Posted February 12, 2009 Posted February 12, 2009 Wow!!! So many incredible modules! Thrash: Amazing embassy, I really like the use of all the skeleton parts and all the other small details, especially the floor, pure genius. Genaral armendariz: Very well done for a sea-fairing sailor, the falcon symbol is a wonderful touch, and the figures are great, good creativity on the ambassador. Etzel: Again a most exquisite addition to the castle layout. Quote
Captain Blackmoor Posted February 12, 2009 Posted February 12, 2009 Here is my EBCCB module: The bank. It took some time but here it is! The front of the building, I choose for a tan building with columns for a distinguished look. The back of the building. To make some details at the wall I've made some windows with heavy iron bars in it. It has a secure look now so the gold inside will be safe. The guard on the top of the wall is being shot by a member of the thieves guild... So nobody notices another thief running to a hole in the cellar wall of the bank. The interior of the bank himself. Here is the cellar, filled with coins, gold and gems. Soon there will be an empty space here if the Thieves guild succeeds in the bank raid... That was it! Hopefully you've enjoyed it, comments always appreciated! Quote
Zepher Posted February 12, 2009 Posted February 12, 2009 Etzel, very nice work! I love the over all look, and the roof to the side on the lower level (I hope you know what I'm talking about) is fantastic! Quote
darkagent Posted February 12, 2009 Posted February 12, 2009 Nice work guys. Looks like the competition is bringing in some new blood. Quote
Thrash Posted February 13, 2009 Posted February 13, 2009 Nice job on the bank. I really like the way you tiled the floor on the inside. Thrash Posted March 8, 2009 Posted March 8, 2009 I finally got some time to build this weekend, so here is my Crownie Secret Service Agency! A two-headed ogre stands guard out front of the Crownie Secret Service Agency. In the middle of the second story there is an eye that helps the Secret Service Agency spy on the citizens of the EBCCB: Here is a close-up of the statues and the spy-eye: On the first floor, the Agency keeps prisoners captive in magical cells. The only way to get the prisoners out of the cells is by magic, but usually they just let them die in there, as you can see on the left: On the second floor is the office of the head of the Agency. Also, upstairs the agents can use the eye to spy on people: Here are three agents and the head of the agency. I used custom decals for all of them: Here is a really nice angle shot of the two headed ogre. I picked up a second Power Miner set the other day, so I figured that two of the little rock monsters would work perfectly as heads for an ogre...: I hope you guys liked it! I'll probably enter this in the contest a little closer to the deadline... Crownie Secret Service Agency Brickshelf ~Thrash Quote
