Erdbeereis Posted March 9, 2009 Posted March 9, 2009 That's brilliant Thrash. I love the prison cells the most, but the minifigs and building give it a good run. Top-notch module. Is it for the contest? Quote
Thrash Posted March 9, 2009 Posted March 9, 2009 Ha Ha this great Thrash! Your unstopable! That's brilliant Thrash. I love the prison cells the most, but the minifigs and building give it a good run. Top-notch module. Is it for the contest? Thanks guys! It will probably be for the contest. I'm waiting until right before the deadline to enter though so that I can enter my two best modules if I have to make more any more before the deadline that happen to be better. ~Thrash Quote
Tacitus Posted March 25, 2009 Posted March 25, 2009 I just wanted to chime in and say that you guys have really done an awesome job on your castle modules. Really great stuff here! I wish I had time to participate. Quote
darkagent Posted March 30, 2009 Posted March 30, 2009 Hey guys, it been a while. I've been so busy with work, that I've had a hard time finding any time to finish these modules and take some pictures. Well, here's my first module that I'll also be entering into the contest. Winery. Here are close-ups of the inside. This one shows an employee rolling away a wine barrel to be delivered. Here, you can see a young lady making wine by stepping on grapes. Here, a half-human soldier guards the winery from would be drunkards. Enjoy darkagent Quote
Thrash Posted March 30, 2009 Posted March 30, 2009 Darn it darkagent! I was hoping that you had forgotten about the contest so that I had a better chance of winning Seriously though, great module. All of the little details fit so perfectly like the lady stomping grapes (or just being risque...) and the guard rolling the barrel. Great job! I'll start thumbnailing all of the contest entries closer to the deadline... ~Thrash Quote
darkagent Posted March 30, 2009 Posted March 30, 2009 Darn it darkagent! I was hoping that you had forgotten about the contest so that I had a better chance of winning Thanks Thrash, can't have you win all the prizes. I've still got one more build up my sleeve. Can't wait to see what surprises you've got in store for us. Quote
darkagent Posted April 2, 2009 Posted April 2, 2009 Sorry for the double post, but here's my second contest entry, K25. Royal Torture Chamber w/ Staircase to Roof (2 stories) Here's a better look at the first floor, where a Royal Torturer is planning to get some information out of a prisoner the hard way. Here's a look at the second floor, where a guard is torturing a troll prisoner, while a forgotten king watches on from his jail cell suspended in the air. On the other wall, are the remains of another fallen king who was less then cooperative. Here's a look at the whole structure, with hallways and roof attached. More pictures can be found here. Enjoy darkagent Quote
Thrash Posted April 2, 2009 Posted April 2, 2009 Another great entry darkagent! I saw this on your brickshelf the other day and was excited for you to post it here. As always, all the details are excellent. A few of my favorites are the heads on the shelf and the guy in the stocks. I also like the way you did the roof. Well done! ~Thrash Quote
Etzel Posted April 27, 2009 Posted April 27, 2009 Here is a small Alley-way I made today. It's number G13, located between the Dwarven Embassy and the Torture Chamber in Government District. The Beggar's Shack didn't have room for this man so he is living under a barrel now. A kind lady is helping him out with some food while her suspicious guard is making sure she doesn't gets in danger. Overview I hope to contribute with some larger modules soon, but I hope you liked this small one /Etzel Quote
Captain Blackmoor Posted April 27, 2009 Posted April 27, 2009 Well you succeeded in that, because I like it! It is cool to see how many details you can add in a "house". They are really good. The wall is cool too with the wooden fence. I feel sorry for the beggar. Great MOC Etzel! Quote
Erdbeereis Posted April 27, 2009 Posted April 27, 2009 Hehe, good idea Etzel. You did a very nice job with the little shack. Quote
Etzel Posted April 27, 2009 Posted April 27, 2009 Thank you Cap'n Blackmoor and Erdbeereis! Happy to hear you liked it Well, it was so fun to start building these modules again so I made another one right after the Alley-way. Here is the Gate from Civilian District, number G16 in the Government District. I had trouble including a real working portcullis so the chains and the wheel is just there to make it look good. But hey, you can always use your imagination! This farmer wants to get in to the Government District to sell some goods but then he has to pay the special Gate tax first. Here we have a picture of the two modules I built today together. They are not supposed to be next to each other in the real layout so this is just for fun Now I think I have done enough for today, see you later! /Etzel Quote
I Scream Clone Posted April 27, 2009 Author Posted April 27, 2009 Two outstanding modules Etzel! The gatehouse is excellent, especially paying the tax to enter. The Alleyway is well concieved too, you have made an empty space interesting! Well done, now I have to pull my finger out I suppose Quote
Thrash Posted April 28, 2009 Posted April 28, 2009 Great job on both modules Etzel! The little box that the guy is living in in the alleyway is really nice looking. My favorite part of the gatehouse is the guy in the wood thing taking money. ~Thrash Quote
Waterbrick Down Posted May 2, 2009 Posted May 2, 2009 A job done well again Etzel, keep up all the detailed work I really enjoy it. Quote
I Scream Clone Posted May 3, 2009 Author Posted May 3, 2009 C4: Animal Pen Space is at a premium in the Community Castle, even the Livestock feels the pinch! The old peasant has a spare lettuce to feed the sheep, whilst the cows graze. The chicken and turkey flap around and scavenge for any bugs they can find. There may even be some long lost treasure hiding in the mud! Hope you like it, got some more coming soon. ISC Quote
Thrash Posted May 3, 2009 Posted May 3, 2009 Great job ISC! I really love the diagonal fencing and the bird sitting on the cow. Can't wait to see what you have in store for us next! ~Thrash Quote
CastleLord Posted May 3, 2009 Posted May 3, 2009 (edited) Hi everyone! Here you all have another EBCCB entry from CastleLord. Its placed in the Industrial District on lot I12. Charcoalmaker Here you have a pic of the front. Where the Charcoalmaker is meeting an customer. His workspace. The back wall. Inside his poorly decorated house. Another update! Some pics of how it works. First he puts the wood into the oven. Then he takes the charcoal out of the hole in the bottom of the oven. More pics on Brickshelf when moderated. Hope you like. Update! The pics are now up on Flickr: Link. CastleLord. Edited May 4, 2009 by CastleLord Quote
I Scream Clone Posted May 4, 2009 Author Posted May 4, 2009 That's a really nice Charcoal maker CastleLord! I love the fire and access for the charcoal to come out. The accomadations are spartan, as one would expect of a poorer career. I like how you swapped the white wall for gray, much nicer I think. Cheers and keep up the good MOCing! ISC Quote
Thrash Posted May 4, 2009 Posted May 4, 2009 Nice module Castlelord! I like how you can see the fire poking out of the furnace and then the action shot of the guy. ~Thrash Quote
gormadoc1 Posted May 11, 2009 Posted May 11, 2009 (edited) I love the fact that its a little outpost, marvellous. Edited May 11, 2009 by gormadoc1 Quote
Etzel Posted September 17, 2009 Posted September 17, 2009 Long time since anyone posted here but I refuse to let this project die Here is my latest module, a regular house for a middle-aged couple: Keep fighting for the survival of EBCCB! Quote
Thrash Posted September 17, 2009 Posted September 17, 2009 Great work Etzel! The whole thing looks great, but I love how smooth and clean the interior is. I'll get around to thumbnailing it a bit later. Maybe I'll have to free up some of my collection so I can build a few more modules... ~Thrash Quote
Captain Blackmoor Posted September 17, 2009 Posted September 17, 2009 Great house Etzel! Lovely interior and architecture. I also really like the modularity, I like modular MOCs a lot. The minifigs are nicely chosen and fit well in here. And the bird on the top of the roof is awesome. Quote
