I managed to whip up a Troll Embassy yesterday...here it is.

Overall:

title.jpg

There's the ambassador, a lookout, a guard, and a chef in the Embassy:

The chef's cooking some meat and carrots...:

Or maybe his big cauldron is there to cover up the human bones in the fire:

Thanks for looking!

Hey Thrash, I'm really liking what you're doing! I'm glad I could be of inspiration to this wonderous room, and the troll embassy is really cool too.

Nice builds everyone. My apothecary is coming along nicely, only the outside wall is causing me trouble with very few grey bricks of the right size and shap :hmpf_bad: . Why couldn't we have a yellow castle.. excuse the pun ( ). Fortunatley i have a devious plan to evade my Grey brick temporary shortage. C'mon team beta.

Watch as the two brave knights battle it out with state of the art weaponry straight from Thrash's blacksmith (Brickarms  )

True, but then everyone knows what happens when you bring a gun to a knife fight!

Hopefully some of the new Castle items Will has in the pipeline will interest you!

Sweet troll embassy Thrash, I may have a go at that one myself one day. Looks like that roof design is really taking off.

Trash, your creations are really great, and I hope they encourage the other teammembers to get building!

I'm about to start constructing the next module to the castle keep, which would be the library on the first floor. I'll post photos of it when I'm finished!

Thanks for all the comments guys!

Sandy, I can't wait to see your library, especially if it's as good as all your other creations have been so far! :classic:

I've just finished an Adventurers Guild! I got my inspiration for this mostly from the Adventurers Guild in the great game Quest for Glory V: Dragon Fire. Some of you might not be familiar with it, but it was a room with lots of strange animal heads on the wall and a Minotaur named Toro as the leader of the guild. For my minotaur design, I was inspired by CountBlockula's Minotaur, but changed a few things so that I wasn't just ripping the design directly off of him.

Overview:

The foreigner in the corner with various weapons and artifacts from his land:

The other side, with a visitor's log so that adventurers from all around can come and sign their name:

Front with no characters:

Back:

I put a ballista on top. I wanted to do something different for the roof, so I figured that it would be cool to have a little guard tower with a ballista on top. Since this will be on left side of the castle by the dock, this will be facing towards the ocean. I'd like to see a boat try to mess with a bolt this big!:

Hope you guys like it! Now I'm gonna take a rest and see what everyone builds :classic:

Thrash, how did you manage to build so many outstanding sections within such a limited amount of time? Your creations are marvel and innovative. The troll embassy and adventurers' guild are one of your creative entries. I am deeply impressed by your work so far. Great job!

thrash your modules are really superb, I LOOVEE your ballista, it's so cool! but if you keep building like this, you'll make the castle entirely alone! XD

I don't have my collection at the University with me, but I've gone home the past two weekends and one day for election day to work on the MOCs. I would say that each one takes me about 3 or 4 hours, and then another hour or so to photograph and post. All the MOCing I've been doing has caused me to put off a few papers for Philosophy and Urban Economics that I have to be done by the end of November, so I might not be able to make much more until the start of December! I'm really glad you like my MOCs, and I can't wait to see what you come up with when you decide to do one of the modules! :classic:

Is that minautor your design ? I can forsee some titan quest MOCs

The minotaur is my design, however it was inspired by CountBlockula's minotaur on brickshelf. Below is a comparison picture so you can see what I changed and what I kept:

Mine

minotaur2.jpg

Count Blockulas

03.jpg

As you can see, I kept the way the legs are bent back, the hooves, and the hands for eyes. The main thing that I wanted to change about CountBlockulas were I wanted to make the face longer since his looks a little flat and change the torso to yellow, since a Minotaur is supposed to have the body of a human man.

thrash your modules are really superb, I LOOVEE your ballista, it's so cool! but if you keep building like this, you'll make the castle entirely alone! XD

Thanks Guss! The ballista was kind of a last minute thought for the module since the roof looked a little barren when I was done, but I was very happy with the way it turned out. I don't know about all that...it would be tough for me to make an armoury better than yours to be in the final build! :classic:

Here is my Oil Smelter, though I just realized I left the ladder off! Doh! Well it was going to sit where the rat was anyway, and probably isn't required for the photos (re:Lazy)

Front on.

See the barrels of oil down behind the timber pile.

e3.jpg

Bubble bubble toil and trouble.

e6.jpg

Needs some more wood.

One squire and two knights have been put in charge of the Smelter.

That MOC looks awesome ISC.

I had no idea what you were going to do for it when you first said you wanted to make it. But geez you nailed it. I love how the Guard on the wall is using the oil to prepare for its defense.

Another great addition!!!!

That's great ISC! I couldn't have imagined a more perfect oil smelter for the castle!

Man you guys must be stalking me, just waiting for more pics.

I put a link in for when it is moderated, as there are more pics there.

Maybe I will get around to a ladder pic soon.

I really wanted the Smelter to be made out of a lot of stone, for obvious reasons and because it is right next to the main entrance to the Keep.

Ha, you caught us. :classic:

A stone oil smelter was probably a good idea. An oil smelter made out of wood would really just be absolutely terrible...

Well if you would like to read the guidelines we have all agreed upon, you can see that we are all building castle walls for the outer modules, so the look is uniform and belongs to the city. If it is somewhat different and you don't feel it belongs in the walled city, then you could always post it as its own topic.

Cheers
