how man the witch hut is really cool XDDD and funny !!

and your wizard hat-roof is really cool !

but thrash is going to make the entire castle alone XD

Thanks! Ha, that would defeat the whole purpose of the Community Castle Build! :classic:

That is just nuts Thrash! Obv the break agreed with your creative side. I love the witches shack on legs, very disturbing!

The wizards guild is really quite nice too.

I want to have a closer look and thumb them later.

Also I just had an idea for a medieval theme park to put in the open areas. Like a wooden maerry go round etc.....

could be cool.

Thanks, I really like the idea of a medieval theme park to fill up some of the empty space. Whoever chooses to do that will have a really fun time building it.

Fantastic work, as always, Trash!

The chicken-legged house and the "wizard's hat" roof on the Wizard's Guild are superb inventions. I just have to laugh at the variety of the houses and residents of this town we're building!

I try to make each MOC of mine as unique as possible to add to the variety in the town. Baba Yaga's hut may have taken that idea to the extreme...

Wow, that Witch Hut is definately interesting! I like the wings at the top.

However, how is the witch supposed to enter or leave the hut? It's a story too high.

Exactly what Sandy said :classic:

Normally I am the one who brings in the weirdness. That hut is just plain awesomeness Trash  Entering it will be the least of one's problems

Using a huge hat for the other roof is also great - it reminds me of Theme Park where you had shops like the one selling ice cream and the whole roof looked like made of ice

The themepark icecream stands are exactly what I had in mind while making it! I'm glad that you guys could all tell that it was supposed to be a Wizard Hat roof...I would have felt kind of foolish if everyone had been like "What the heck is up with the cone roof?"

Since you guys liked those two so much, here's my last one for the weekend...the Torturer's Chamber!

Overall:

title.jpg

The torturer has three main ways to torture people: a rack, a little jail that he can put them in to watch them, taunt them, and poke them, and then a chain hanging above an open flame. The flame isn't as much for torture as it is for the Torturer to be able to cook his victims before eating them...:

pokepoke.jpg

Did I mention that the Torturer is really a vampire and sleeps in his coffin under the floorboards when he's not torturing people? That's why he lives in an old abandon church with the windows boarded up and bats all around:

coffin.jpg

When he gets tired of torturing and doesn't want to eat them, he just hangs them outside for all to see:

hangman2.jpg

The Torturer, his sexy prisoner who he often pokes (no dirty joke intended, but it certainly turned out that way), Roasting Ralph, and the screaming man on the rack:

torturer.jpg

Hope you guys like it! The reason I chose to go with a vampire Torturer is because I thought an old abandoned church would look really cool on the outside. Also, what medieval town would be complete without it's own vampire? Also, I left the left side of the module completely open since that's where it attaches to the dungeon. Whoever builds the dungeon might want to build some stairs leading up to mine with a nice little door so that the dungeon guards can send people over to get torturered more easily.

Beautiful work again Thrash! I only see one main problem though. Vampires can't enter Churches I think......well they don't like crosses or holy water. Hmmmm maybe im not quiet sure about entering but I bet he redecorated pretty quickly!

Great torturing devices, I really like the gallows and rack. The coffin under the floor boards took a lot of bricks to raise the entire thing up, but was well worth it.

Cheers.

Another great module, and I like how it will (or should) be able to connect to the dungeon for extra convenience.

However, I think the flame torture method seems a bit strange, as although the idea of torturing is to inflict pain, being cooked in the process is far from ideal. Maybe it could be better if the torturer set spiders, scorpions or rats on that prisoner. Or, for a slightly comedic alternative to contrast the otherwise grim module, the torturer could use a feather-tickle method on the upside down prisoner. :classic:

Also, as a slight afterthought, the hanging dead skeleton shouldn't have hair, because there isn't any skin for the hair to be rooted in.

Hmm...if vampires can't enter churches than my MOC certainly has a big problem. Originally I was going to make it look like the cross on top was snapped in half, but I just couldn't get it to look quite right. I'll go with you on this one and say that he redecorated quickly.

When I built the flame I just thought of it as a flame to dangle someone over to torture them with heat. Then when I was writing up the post with the pictures, I thought "hey, maybe it would be funny to say that he's cooking his victim." In hindsight, I don't think that vampires really eat people, they just suck their blood. Since cooking someone to death would prevent them from producing more blood, the vampire would probably not use this technique.

The feather tickling idea would just end up making this look like some sort of kinky fetish chamber...

You're right about the skeleton. I tried both with and without the hair, and I thought it looked better with, so that's what I went with. If you want to be a stickler for details, I'll say that the only place on his body that still has skin is his scalp right under his hair

that's a nice and messy treasure room^^ but is the wall high enough ? I don't know how high it is supposed to be^^ the only sad thing are the windows with the white bricks around, why didn't you do it in grey ?

Good job dennimator! I'm not sure how you have your pieces sorted, but if you didn't already have all those gold and treasure peices seperated, it must have been quite a job finding them all.

I really like the way you did those banners on the outside, those will look really when everything is stacked together!

Thats quite a hoard of treasure in the Treasure room! Besides the colour issues on the wall it looks great, perhaps if you have a King mini he would look great rolling around in all the spoils of war etc.

Well done Dennimator. I will attempt a thumbnail pic later.

Thumbnail complete.

Thanks!

My pieces aren´t sorted at all yet, but I have all my ´special´ pieces in a special box, so it wasn´t that hard to find´em.

My tabletown citizens are all broke now, though. :sadnew:

The king took all their money for his treasure chamber.

Thanks!

It actually isn´t that much, I just have yellow and tan bricks under the gold/silver pieces.

On th other side, it´s almost every gold and silver pieces that I have collected in my whole life...

I guess you can call it much.

IT SPARKLES!!

Anyone entering there would be blind instantaneously.

But why is there paper money?

I wanted to see if anyone here would notice it.

Well, it's been a while and I had to dig this thread up from page 2, but here is my Archery Range and Training Ground!

title.jpg

I decided to combine the two into a sort of training academy for new recruits into the EBCCB army.

Here's an overview of the training facilities:

archeryandtraining.jpg

There are two dummies for people to train with for hand-to-hand combat:

front4.jpg

Recruits can also go to the archery range:

archerypractice.jpg

front3.jpg

Once the recruits have gotten good enough at archery and melee combat, they can try to pass the final test...running across hot coals:

runrunrun.jpg

If they make it to the other side, the trainer presents them with their equipment and they are officially in the army:

newguard2.jpg

The Recruits, Dummy, and Trainer:

recruitstrainer.jpg

I went with the white and black scheme because I had just taken apart my giant castle chess set and had tons of black and white tiles. That led me to give the trainer the twoface hair since I thought it fit well with the rest of the color scheme.

I hope you guys like it! I can't make any promises, but I might have another one built later tonight :classic:

P.S. I know that the instructions say to post 5 pictures per entry, but I figured that since this entry was twice as big (and I guess techinically 2 entries) it would be ok to put in a few more pictures.

Another beautiful creation Thrash! The archery targets are great as are the combat dummies

The characters look very nice and the whole layout/training is well thought out.

I like the B/W colour scheme too, and there are lots of windows to take in the whole experience.

Bravo.

That's another lovely module Thrash!

I love the hot coals.

Thanks guys!

I think that this was the last one that I'm going to be able to build before I start taking some apart, so this weekend before I take any apart I'm going to lay all of the modules I have (including Stol's and Lalande's) and take a few pictures. I think it's going to look awesome to see so many in a row!

In a shameless double post, I present my Tanner!

title.jpg

The Tanner working downstairs at skinning a horse to make some leather:

The guy on the right is hanging above a pile of already skinned bodies. He's been skinned, and soon they're going to throw his head in the tannin to shrink it! Meanwhile, the tanner's evil son is cooking the meat from the man's body. The lady is next:

The Tanner's son proudly shows off his shrunked head collection:

Thrash, have you considered therapy! Simply evil. Nice interior in the Tannery, real Silence of the Lambs stuff.

I guess no one has noticed the dissapearing townfolks hey.

Ha, Lalande said that everyone on here was going to think I was a little sick after I posted my Tanner. Guess she was right!

Glad you liked it!

Hey Thrash, that Tanner module is truly disturbing. I guess we know where to look first if any of the castle residents go missing.

Ugh, gross! Doesn't the government know about this?

 As always, great addition, Thrash, I'm always looking forward to your MOCs.

Thanks guys! Hopefully making a church redeemed me for making the Tanner so disgusting.

Just fabulous darkagent! I love all the congregation crammed into the little church. The wall tapestries are great too.

The stained window looks nice, good thing it looks fortified or I would be breaking into the castle that way

Keep up the good work.
