Well, we have a BZPower topic, so here's a MoD topic.

Anyone a member?

It's a really, really weird place to hang out these days. What with the furries and all.

I get mind-scarring pictures PMed to me sometimes...

Mask of Destiny sucks. Sorry Imatron, it's true.

None of the rules are enforced, no one stays on topic, and practically every post is spam. The only reason I ever go there is to read Greg's Q&A.

I have to agree. The only reason that I have an account there is to try an spread my theories and ideas around and try and get the opinions of people from more sites than just bzpower. Another interesting note is that many of the members there were either banished from bzp or don't like how many rules there are and how the are enforced.

Go to MoD and look at all 4 topics I have made. Even the posts that haven't been deleted are HORRIBLE.

Everyone is soooooo mean to me, and hates me for no reason, they say my comedies suck, when on BZPower everyone loves them, and If they were on BZPower, they'd get banned the day they joined!!!!!!

Sorry for the bump, but i would like to give some more information:

We are currently re-working the Mask Of Destiny forums to be better than before, because of the consistant trolling and flaming. I found this topic and i had to post here, considering that your replies were quite helpful in choosing some ways to re-invent the forums, if i may. We are currently having new rules written, and the site and forums should become a better place for people to be before too long.

Also, I'm a modertor there if you didn't know :tongue:

No idea, sorry. He was there ages before i was. We did move to new forums awhile back, and that might be why your account was deleted/left at the old ones.

Pssh, I was a member there before both of you, X and M.

I used to love it there, a nice medium between BZP and other sites similar to EB or ItB. Jokes were implied, but never spoken directly.

Then a bunch of guys from 4chan and other sites came. It turned to hell. Bloody hell. Flame wars and shit were rampant, original members left and some got banned, it was bloody hell. I think Connor (Mr. Secret Stomach Message) joined too, or some other similar idiot spammer(s). LOL, he wasn't banned neither.

I took a 2-month hiatus from MoD after that. When I came back, the site was bypassing filters and posting ridiculous images, heck it was so "gangsta" that it had the "hazard zone" forum added.

I left permanently this time. Completely lost hope for that site and didn't care what happened to it ever since them.

But considering that the forums are being fixed, I'll consider coming back.

Yes I was on MoD. Under this same name

WAS. I got myself banned on purpose just a little before it got "broken" and went into maintenance.

From what I've heard it got broke because someone got tired of the poorly-designed swearing filters. one set of swears would be filtered to simply "moo", another would be turned into *****s, and another would turn into "Imma watchin you" messages with Imatron's (main guy there) avatar, so one of the members lost it and tried to get Immy off his rear and fix this up by saying the n-word everywhere. EVERYWHERE.

He put the forum into maintenance mode and went on hiatus. None of the other mods have the power to fix it...

So yes Imatron so to speak has killed MoD. He really takes too long to do things. No offense.

It stands for In the Bricks....a rather exclusive site for special moc builders. I love it, its so UNpolitically correct. Senior members like Jinzo are quite free to express themselves, really wonderful !!

Oh, MOD is a veteran bionicle site that at one time provided a reasonable alternative to BZP, it should always be held with respect.

Oh do be quiet, bfs, before the little members here find their way into the site and start thinking that we're a bunch of arrogant bastards (which we are, we just don't want anyone outside to know) for not letting them in.

And I'll be damned if Imatron has just permanently killed MoD. He's like the last mod member on that site who actually likes Bionicle now. But then again... he didn't make a very good admin, no offense to him.

Yeah, me, Monasti, Merc, and some other guys formed a sort of group with a guy who Imatron had banned (and should not have) dedicated to silliness and fun at Imatron's expense. We had a separate forum for our "headquarters"- we didn't do anything too serious- just some spamming and tormenting people who were really being silly twits on MoD.

The funniest bit was when we got Imatron to make our "Headquarters" an extension of Mask of Destiny, but for errr... adult content, like the Hazard Forum Zip described earlier but not ruined by Imatron contradicting himself on what he allowed to be posted there. It's kinda disintegrated though. But still cool

And if anyone wants to know exactly what I did to get banned, PM me and I will tell you the full details. It's not worth mentioning here.

If you want to see the aforementioned "headquarters" I might tell you over PM if you ask me. But I might not tell you.
