Tales 1: Inhabitants of Rouk Nui (NO PICS)

Hello, one and all, and welcome to my new series of books. These will follow the MOCs that I create. So, enjoy!

Epilogue

Rouk Nui is A strange place to visit.

As you can see, it's a gigantic rock on an island. The top level is a huge Coliseum that different Tribes fight in. The middle level is a large city. And the Lower level is a forge and living quarters. It is very dark down their because it has the thickest walls and least lighting. The island around it is a place for the inhabitants to get away from the Heat of battle, bustle of the city, or darkness of the undertunnels.

Now, one of the most important things that you must know, is that Rouk Nui is ideal for battles. Mainly Coliseum matches. Their are 15 tribes. Fire, Water, Air, Iron, Ice, Earth, Magnetism, Sonics, Pressure, Gravity, Electricity, Plasma, Shadow, Light, and Other. The Other Tribe is composed of beings with other powers, such as stone, magma, fear, and more.

In Chapter 1 the story will begin.

Thanks everyone! And now, my commnts as a creator on these MOCs, and clear pictures(hopefully)

Relt and Rusk:

Now when I created these guys I didn't know what to expect. I am not a fan of Relt after I inspeted and played around with him, but he's not bad. I am not sure what you guys think of the claw, but I didn't have any other weapons that looked right on him at the time. Rusk is really looking cool to me. The gun turned out nice, and I like how the spines turned out. Yes, he has a custom painted silver mask. :)

Grak:

Now Grak is pretty important, because he is leader of the Earth Tribe and Head of Operations manager for Rouk Nui. I went for a bulky look, and I really wanted to use these axes. All in all, I think he turned out pretty good.

Gurm and Gask

Originaly, I was going to make a Maluk warrior(the small guy) for every tribe, But I don't have the parts at the moment. I like how he turned out, with a design similar to the Mahritoran. Gurm turnd out just the way I wanted, with noticeable similarities to Grak. And his spine weapons don't normal come off. I just forgot to put them on completely for the picture.

Bookar:

Bookar turned out very cool in my mind. And do you guys like the name? I tried to make it "tribe" themed. Anywho, I wanted to try a new configuration to hold on to the zamor launcher, and I just thought that sword matched him.

Brax:

Brax was designed to fit the Gladiator mask that I made. I think he uses it well. And the lack of armor was intentional! He is supposed to be a light warrior. The weapon holder will be shown more clearly when I do a MOC review of him.

That is a miniature version of his gun mounted on his shoulder, kind of like a machine gun thype thing.

Japax:

You know, for some reason, I don't like the name Japax anymore. Sounds too much Like "Japan," which really doesn't match this Gladiation. I am also seeing this guy as a Blue version of Tahu in an Inika form. Not sure How I feel about this, but we will see. I gave him a Matoran connecter on his back, But I have no matoran at the moment.

Jesk:

I didn't plan to have a female Water Tribe Gladiation just yet, but I went with Jesk. I have never used the Maku mask in a MOC before, and I like it. I'll let you guys comment your thoughts on her.

Hastraz:

Hastraz was originaly going to be an electric Tribe Gladiation, but He evolved into Hastraz. So yeah. No other comments from me. Like the mask?

Hackress:

...Dang, that first pic makes Hackress's mask look awesome. ^_^ I designed him with the Color scheme of Black and Mata red in mind, and with a Maxilos mask in mind as well.

Duft:

I don't know if it's just me, but I LOVE this guy. When I put on his weapon, I was in love. I think the robotic arm turned out very nice. And I think the mask was perect for this guy. I also like how I made the legs. I really want to hear your comments on this.

Deskess:

Aside from the fact that I forgot to put a piece of his armor on, I like him. :lol:

Larask:

Finaly I got the arm proportions to be correct on these things. However his shoulders are a bit high up, I jumped at the chance to use Metru shoulder armor.

Still have to paint the back of his mask black. I just used mspaint for this pic.

Nikera:

Nikera was originaly going to be a mutated Inwaq(old MOC of mine), but I switched the color scheme from mata red and gold to dark blue. I like his design. How about you? And those are some leftover bits of gold stickers from Golden Guradian.

Spirak

Any more Electric Tribe Gladiations that I make will be Light blue, mata blue, and yellow. Spirak was just a general warrior, nothing to get excited about. Until the Epic... Oh, and for those who have noticed the Polyp launcher, do not worry. I am modding one to be a sort of new projectile.

The Crafter

The crafter is just a little MOC of mine that managed his way into the Inhabitants of Rouk Nui. I gave him little table, and extra weapon. He is a Sonic Tribe Gladiation. He isn't that impressive, but the table is cute, right?

The smaller sized beings(matoran sized) are called Maluk Warriors.

The toa sized beings(everything you see in this post except for Gask) are called Gladiations.

Apologies for the dual post, but I would like to get this first chapter going!

Chapter 1

A local to Rouk Nui strolled along the dirt path to the Coliseum. He had nothing to do today, so he figured he would go and see a match. He approched the northern entrance, and stood in front of a Maluk Warrior. Maluk Warriors were a varied bunch. They were basicly a step above a local. They were slightly taller, and had much more weapons and armor. They also had the ability to go into battle and aid their tribes. "When does the next match begin?" asked the local.

The Maluk Warrior slowly looked down. "20 minutes" He replied. He then slowly turned away. Maluk Warriors weren't nessecarily kind to other tribes. The local was a member of the Fire Tribe, and he knew that the Earth Tribe didn't like the Fire Tribe much. And the Maluk Warrior that he had just asked was very angry when it came to the Fire Tribe. His name was Gask, and he was a very skilled Maluk Warrior. The local didn't want to interfere anymore, and scurried inside.

Duft walked into the prep chamber. Every Gladiation was assigned a partner to battle with, forever, until death. Duft had been partnered with Deskess, which wasn't to bad, because he was friends with him. Deskess was preparing his Ice orb launcher with energy. He picked up his ice pick, and stood up. "Ready?" He asked.

"Yes." He said. He flexed his robotic arm. If their was ever a problem with it, he would loose control of it, and it might shut down.

"Hello, everyone! I am Turuk, your battle spectator, and today we will be witnessing the powers of the Ice Tribe and the Water Tribe! I am porud to introduce our Gladiations... In the Water Tribe, Josk and Jex!"

A barred door lifted, and two Gladiations came out. They were blue and silver in color. One was armed with a Combax blaster and the other was armed with an Electrohydro blade. "And in the Ice Tribe, Duft and Deskess!" On the opposite side of the Coliseum, The Ice Gladiations emerged. Duft was white and light blue, and Deskess way white and black. The crowd cheered. "Opponents, meet." This is the time where the Tribes meet. Jex Stood in front of Duft. Duft Lifted his robotic arm, and twirled his fingers.

"I will make you suffer." He said. And walked away. Josk looked at Deskess, and gave hi a very clear message.

"Don't cheat." Now you may think that this is childs play, to cheat. If you are caught cheating in battle, you will suffer the consequences. The Executioner, who has never revealed his name, will make the cheater pay dearly.

"For those of you who have never been to a battle before, I want to explain the rules. Only one side shall be left standing. If their is a cheater, the battle stops. If their is a penalty, both teams lose. Begin!"

Jex fired his weapon called a Combax blaster. It released a very small, compact, bullet, and as soon as it hit the colum of stone behin Duft, it Blew into a pressurized water storm, dissinigrating the stone in seconds. Deskess fired his Ice Orb launcher, and created a long, thin, strand of ice leading to Josk. Duft took a running leap and landed on the ice, and slid at a very fast speed. He slugged his arm and Josk, and the result was devastating. Josk's mask was split in half, and his chest armor blew to pieces. He flew through the battlefield, and crashed into the stone wall. He fell to the ground, wounded. Deskess once again fired his ice orb launcher, but this time he created a colum of ice. He smashed it with his pick, and the shrds hovered towards Jex. Unable to react, Jex was wounded badly by the shards. Deskess took a final blow at Jex with his ice pick, and Jex landed on the gorund.

"The winner! Is Ice Tribe! But they shall not be so succesfull. Today's challenger is Spirak, the only foreign inhabitant to the Eletric Tribe. Spirak entered the filed. And in a flash, He had caused a bolt of lightning to trash Deskess. Duft reacted immediatly, and jamme his ice dagger into Spirak's side. His armor began to freeze, and, afraid it would rip him to pieces, gave up. Challengers were just members of other tribses, who had the choice to drop out of battle."

Darkness had settled over Rouk Nui, and the second battle would start in 2 hours.

In a universe controlled by darkness, Toa Lewa Nuva fell to his knees. "Makuta! how could this have happened? We have failed!" As much as Turaga Vakama wanted to help him, he had to agree. But something had to be done. "Chirox. He is alive. Something in his armor superexcelled his speed, and he passed through the storm, and followed Takanuva. I was sworn to keep this a secret, but I must speak-tell."

"Why do we care about a measly bat when we have Teridax to deal with?" Tahu asked

"Because he has a secret to defeat him."

"So...how will you travel to the universe that he is in?" asked Tahu

"I won't. He is going o a place where he can get an army. That is where I shall go."

"And how will this free us from Makuta?" asked Onua.

"Catching Chirox and his army, and using them against Teridax."

"Yes, but you still need a way to change universes!" replied Tahu

"I will go to a Time jumper. I will take Photok and Tanma with me."

Coming Next chapter- Lewa, Photok, and Tanma begin their journey, The shock of Chirox, and more of the lives of the Inhabitants of Rouk Nui.
