Yeah I read about that in the newspaper. It said that some women started fighting and then two men started arguing as well. Well they obviously pulled out guns and one chased the other while shooting. In the end, they both killed each other. Its pretty lucky that no one else got shot in the process.

I live pretty damn close to Palm Springs.. well its not exactly a short drive but still, thinking about it is pretty scary. People really are crazy. I was home with a buddy I haven't seen for a while. So eh, I guess I didn't get any deals.

Well, people get killed over incredibly trivial things all the time.

Once two little childrens tried to claw out my face because I was holding a LEGO Star Wars set they evidently wanted on Black Friday.

I wasn't even gonna buy the damn thing, and they still made me bleed in the face.

That is just shocking :pir-oh: Wow its dissappointing when people go crazy over sales, I too want to know what set it was.

Anyone else getting annoyed at people on ebay trying to turn a $80 profit? :pir-hmpf_bad: I was seeing if the MTT would be cheaper on ebay now that a lot of them are out there, but no...

Out of curiosity, did anyone try using Wal-Mart's "We'll match any other stores ad" policy and use K-Mart's buy 2 get 1 one free? It didn't even cross my mind until Saturday (too late!) that that might work.

I'm not. I got the ISD from Target and sold it for 130$. That helped pay for my other gifts this year.

Well I guess if there are people stupid enough to pay that much, go for it. I know me personally, I'll wait for the prices to come down (if they ever do :pir-sceptic: ).

There are hundreds of MISB ones on ebay right now...and yesterday they were going for about $100-$110 plus shipping. They will only go up from there. If you wait until after Christmas, my guess is 75% of these will be opened and few MISB will be left and the price will go up another $40.

I was going to head to Wal-mart first for black friday but when I got there people were so aggressive and pushy I went to Office Depot instead.

I went back to Wal-mart a few hours later and picked up three King's Castle Siege.

Stores do not price match BOGO sales.

I find it odd that people are paying so much on eBay for the Target Star Wars set. The Targets I have been too are still stock full of them. I'll probably pick one up after Christmas when Target knocks them down to 75% like they did last year with all the leftover airport sets.

Good luck getting one at 75% off, all the kiddies will be out with their gift cards from Christmas, and they will probably all be gone in hours...

Exactly. :pir-hmpf_bad:

It sucks but....once in a while there's still good stuff left.

My WalMart still had three King Castle Sieges five days after black friday and they were still priced at $50. So if you missed it, keep checking the shelves. Maybe someone will return it and when it goes back on the shelf, it seems like it will remain at the $50 price.

Yeah - 1 WM (where I got my 2 @ $48.88 just prior to the BFSales) had 3 the other day @ $50., then another had zero, but a third had about 10(!!) of them.

Target has the UCS M Falcon for 350$ thats 30% off. Free shipping.

List price: $499.99

You Save: $150.00 (30%)

Which has absolutely nothing to do with Black Friday, does it?

Since Black Friday is over and this is turning into a BSTF topic, I'll move this to that forum.
