Dragonator Posted October 28, 2008 Posted October 28, 2008 Very good. Poor Hinckley, so uncared for and alone. And poor Sinner, with his crumpled cape! I can't decide which one I feel more sorry for. Oh, and nice hair, luckily I have it, so no need for me to go buying new stuff to be able to keep whacking you in the comfort of my own home. Quote
Scouty Posted October 29, 2008 Posted October 29, 2008 I can't believe how mean CM is. ANyway, funny update Quote
JimBee Posted October 29, 2008 Posted October 29, 2008 Ah, I missed this topic... but finally! You're making another issue! *Sigh*, nothing like falling for the same trick twice, eh? Quote
Hinckley Posted November 3, 2008 Author Posted November 3, 2008 I'm actually sticking to it for the third week in a row now! I can't believe it! Page 3 of the new issue is now up. Start the issue here Quote
zero1312 Posted November 3, 2008 Posted November 3, 2008 Sorry, but CM needs to be heavily whacked for being such a jackass. Just my 50 cents. Quote
Zepher Posted November 4, 2008 Posted November 4, 2008 To much slap-stick for me, but I understand that's what it's meant to be. If Hinck could win from time to time, that would make me hapier. I don't get why everyone hates him, it's annoying. He should have some victories. Quote

Actually I think that is why he got a 'vengeance spirit' or whatever that ghostly fig is, after all his first one (Napoleon/Bonaparte) didn't do him much good, especcialy not lately...I just LOVE these Whacker and the Walrus comics and I must agree that it is Hinckleys time to win this time, GO HINCKLEY !!!! Then again, it is he who writes them and I think he has some sado-masochistical tendencies ! BTW HINCKLEY: did your father wack you much on your megablocks when u were a kid? Or did your mother? I think you might suffer from an Oedipuscomplex... Edited November 4, 2008 by zorro3999 Quote

Zepher Posted November 4, 2008 Posted November 4, 2008 Yes, as I recall your "Win" resulted in a loss on Halloween. Quote
Hinckley Posted November 4, 2008 Author Posted November 4, 2008 Yes, as I recall your "Win" resulted in a loss on Halloween. OK OK, fan girl boy. If my audience insists, I'll start beating more megablocks. Quote
Dragonator Posted November 4, 2008 Posted November 4, 2008 Ah, now the cake on Ras's head just takes the cake, if you get what I mean! I just find tat last panel highly amusing. Great job Hinck, you really leave us waiting to see what happens next! Hey, I like it when Hinckley gets beaten up. Oh OK, I guess he can get some payback every now and then... Keep them coming, your doing very well. Three whole weeks according to schedule, it must be a new record. Quote
Joebot Posted November 4, 2008 Posted November 4, 2008 Well done on keeping to your weekly schedule for three weeks!! As for the question of Hinckley always losing ... I see Hinckley's character as the "Charlie Brown" of the series--the lovable loser that always misses the football. Or, that gets whacked in the head in this case. You keep reading just in case this is the ONE TIME that he finallly wins, but deep down, we all just want to see him get clobbered again. And again and again and again. Hinckley -- what software do you use to make the special effects, like the smoke or the ghostly aura around fake-Hinckley? I've bought a couple of Photoshop filters from a company called Alien Skin, and they're freakin' amazing. Expensive though. It's hard to justify to my wife why I need to drop a hundred bucks on some software to make my silly little Lego comics. Quote

You'd be surprise what the filters, layer options, and smudge tool can accomplish. I've been using Photoshop for years and I taught myself, so I keep finding new tricks. Always exploring... I'll tell you more specific secrets if we ever meet in person... ...that sounds a bit ominous. I mean photoshop secrets. Quote

Hinckley Posted November 12, 2008 Author Posted November 12, 2008 My week has been derailed since I deleted all of my contacts and e-mails from my computer. Sadly, The Whacker and the Walrus maybe off for a week while I deal with this. It's all ready to go, I just have to be lugging my computers around trying to fix this mess and don't have the time to finish it up and I'll be away for the weekend. Quote
Zepher Posted November 12, 2008 Posted November 12, 2008 (edited) I hate you. Best of luck fixing your problem, look forward to next week! EDIT: Just incase the message of the first part wasn't clear... Edited November 12, 2008 by Zepher Quote
